Spencer adjusted the garage door jamb to align it with the siding, cleaned up the caulking, and made a minor adjustment to how one of the doors was hung. I am happy with how the company quickly improved its work. Original review (12/16/24): I hired Balanced Garage Doors to replace two old wooden garage doors. The price of the job and the quality of the doors are decent. However, the quality of the work leaves something to be desired. Our installer left a decent mess after the work was completed, including glass shards from the old garage door windows. I also found one of the siding panels out of place. The installer came to fix the siding today. Regardless, the quality of work seems poor, considering I paid $3600 for the job.

Our garage door was very outdated and needed to be completely replaced, but he never once tried to push a new door on us. Once I asked about a new door he was willing to work the current repair into a down payment option for a new door. We were told a new door might take a week to arrive, but they were here the next morning at 9:30 am to install it. Damian was the install tech. He was also professional, fast & efficient. We have a two car garage with a huge garage door. Recently, we had noticed that the door wasn't…read moreopening smoothly as it had in the past. Thinking it could be the rollers, I replaced all of them, except for the bottom two that are connected to the spring (dangerous if you don't know what you're doing..and I don't). Unfortunately, that didn't fix it and we were afraid that we might have to replace the whole door (pricey). We called ODC and they sent Gary, who looked at our door and found that the topmost section had begun to sag slightly, causing that section of the door to "oilcan" rather than just rotate smoothly. He assured us that he could add a brace to the top section, and then he offered to replace the two rollers that I hadn't wanted to risk doing myself. The estimate was about a third of what we had been afraid it would be. He also said it was good that we hadn't ignored it, because eventually that can cause bad damage to the door. He came back 2 days later with the new brace, and was done with everything in less than an hour. No attempt to "upsell" unnecessary repairs or equipment, he was pleasant and neat, and even showed me where and how to lubricate the door to keep it smooth. It runs like a Swiss watch now. I highly recommend this company for your overhead door needs.
