I've DoorDashed lunch from this location twice and it's always a good experience. I've only had the Philly cheese steak combo. The cheesesteak is delicious! The fries always come soft/soggy and unsalted. I've always wondered if the fries would be crispy if I ordered and ate them on the spot rather than them having to ride about 10-15 mins in a styrofoam box. I will never ever eat there again. I ordered wing 30 pieces. They mess up my order I ordered mild and hot wings. Both wings was hot . Called and spoke with the someone she said bring them back. Took them back. I have bit one wing it was hot so I tried the other wing that said hot both was hot. The manager was very rude and said she could not take the wings back $45 dollars. After our conversation, I left feeling that you didn't fully understand what happened--so I wanted to put everything in writing to be clear. I want you to know I did not contact the health department just because I received the wrong order. This week, I placed an order for two 10-piece wings: one hot, and one lemon pepper dry. I clearly said "lemon pepper dry" more than once, and the employee repeated the order back incorrectly several times before finally saying "okay." When the food was ready, I opened it like I always do--and the lemon pepper wings were incorrect (different flavor) Another employee asked the one who took my order if she had read it back to me, and she said yes. I clarified again, saying I had asked for lemon pepper dry. At that point, the employee told me, "We will not remake them. Period." My husband told her they could and should be remade, but she insisted she wasn't allowed to. We left and went to a nearby wing place to get the correct lemon pepper wings. When we got home, I decided to try the wings from your store and realized they were also undercooked. I immediately called back, but your employee refused to give me a manager's contact number and hung up on me. I called several more times, but they would not answer--likely using caller ID to avoid the call. The next day, I called again and was told, once more, that no manager was available. At that point, I felt it was my responsibility to contact the health department--not because of a simple mistake, but because I believed the issue went beyond a wrong order. It was about how food was prepared and how customer concerns were handled--or rather, ignored. You don't have a phone number listed anywhere, so I Googled and left a review. I've been a customer at your store for 8+ years. While the food has usually been fine, the customer service has consistently been poor--and it's gotten worse since COVID. I value small businesses in my community, and I want to see them thrive. But I also value basic food safety and respectful customer service. You mentioned no one ever complains to you--but if you check your Google reviews, you'll see many have tried. The problem seems to be that your employees are not communicating these issues to you. I didn't want a refund. I just wanted to make sure you, as the owner, were aware of how this situation was handled and how concerning it was to be served undercooked food and refused service or follow-up. I'm glad to hear this was just a bad batch of wings, and that things are normally prepared properly. But I hope you take this seriously and look into how your staff is treating customers and handling issues--because taking a photo of the wings wouldn't have changed anything when your employees simply didn't care. read more

Not a good impression at all when we walked in..... This was for my daughter, definitely not my choice. Poor Customer Service! I normally loves American Deli-I even pasted several wing places JUST to patronize their business! At 9:20pm on a Saturday night I arrived and the lady was at the door saying they were closed and pointing for us to go to the business next door! I mentioned that the website says 10pm! TERRIBLE SERVICE! I ordered a 40pc and came back in the restaurant after 5 min and my order isn't ready. I came back 10 min later and still not ready. I came back 5 min later and was told that my order was ready after I walked out of the door the first time!! THEY LET MY FOOD SIT AND GET COLD. They saw me come in and out and didn't say anything!! My fries are cold and I was told that your order was ready when you walked out the first time. Let's not forget that I walked in 3 times and no one said a word. That was my last visit!!! DO BETTER!! The right thing to do was to remake these cold fries, but you told me that my order was already ready and we tried to call you, but you had already walked out the door. Not true because you asked the gentleman inside of the store, what was his number? They look me right in my face and said nothing. What about the other two times that I walked in and out?? This was by far the worst American Deli I've been to. Literally everything I ordered was horrible. Philly and Wings combo. I asked for no onions, light peppers and light mushrooms. When I got the Philly it was 60% peppers, 30% mushrooms, and 10% beef. The boneless wings were really bad quality and mostly just fatty pieces. The only part I ended up eating were the fries which were cold. I'm not sure if they were just not having a good day or what, but I'll never go back to this location. read more

I should have followed my first instinct and turned around and walked out. However, I did order and was completely dissatisfied with the quality and taste of the food. The service was horrible, the veggies in the fried rice tasted of freezer burn and the wings were very overcooked. Please do yourself a favor and go down an exit or two to one of the other American Deli locations. I've never had a bad experience at the one on Exit 218. Omg...The American Deli in Stockbridge off of Hudson Bridge Rd has gone to complete $hit as of last month or so. Are they under new management? Entirely different crew working here. The last owners/management had the restaurant organized, clean, and running smooth like clockwork. Dont call in an order and expect it to be ready in (10-15 mins) as they say over the phone. Excellent American gyro using the precut, preformed, and previously frozen meat. It was packed with all the fixings and plenty for one person. The tzasitki sauce was off and need more seasoning. I've been to other American Deli's and this location was by far the WORST experience I've ever had. We went there about an hour and a half ago, and shortly after eating our purchased food, my fiancé vomited and have diarrhea. I should have known not to eat at this location, because I noticed behind the counter there was food and trash on the floor. The cashier had to go in the back to get the cooks, and they didn't appear to have washed their hands when they reappeared from the back. I've learned my lesson, and will tell everyone that I know not to eat at American Deli. It's dirty and you will get food poisoning. And lastly, I noticed they had a low Restaurant Inspection Score of 82B...don't eat here. read more
