Usually my go to place for rice and wings. My rice today has a weird sour taste the whole time I figured it was the yum yum sauce so I trashed the bowl I had and got more from Togo box. Honestly their wings are really good. But the fact that they don't allow call in orders for pick up is a huge inconvenience for customers. Being able to call in orders for pick up is a standard thing at most restaurants but especially wing spots. I probably won't be back until they change this. I ordered medium buffalo wings and what I received was lemon pepper wings smothered in Buffalo sauce. Very overpowering, intense taste. Not at all what I wanted. Not to mention half of the wings were no bigger than my thumb. So I called the number on the receipt to complain and that number is disconnected. I never had a problem here until today. I've always ordered wings and they were good. Today, I tried the fried whiting. It was horrible and had a loud fishy smell as if it was raw, even though it wasn't raw. I couldn't eat the fries as well as they were tainted by the fish smell. I brought it back and got a turkey burger instead. I thought they were trying to satisfy a customer even though they have a sign saying "no refunds no exchanges." The cashier brought the turkey burger with no fries. I asked if I could get some fresh fries as the other ones had a fishy smell to them. She went and asked the cook, Andy Cheng. His action was to take the burger out of the small sandwich only container and put in the same container that I brought with the smelly fries. She told he said "no fresh fries." I'm like, he actually replaced my fish but has a problem with replacing some fries? That was very confusing. That made me think he made the turkey burger begrudgingly. I ended up throwing it away. In one instance, the person identifying themselves as a manager was a teenager and clueless. Who would really leave their business in the hands of a child?
