I dont do this normally especially since its a small business but they were very proudly selling chicken, so i went and i ordered some chicken - its a simple story. Yet for some reason its not. Not only did I NOT get my food i spent 40$ on, but when asking the cashier for my refund they tried to get me to order something else persistently, which i shouldve taken a hint that this was probably what they been doing to customers that entire day. OBVIOUSLY i wouldnt want to. You dont got the one thing you promoted! Its the most expensive thing they were selling! I wanted roasted chicken, not...sliced turkey....as a subsitute for the 40$ meal.... So i asked again if i can JUST get a refund and guess what? I did not recieve my refund and its been over a month. My husband and I came here for a late lunch on 5/1/26: We both ordered a plate: he had a brisket plate with Cowboy Beans & Mac. I had the turkey plate with Greens and Mac. Total came out to around $40. The wait was not long, about 10-15 mins and we dined in. The server Jason G was very cool and gave us good recommendations. We were given a bucket with paper towels and sauces, standard for BBQ places. The turkey was juicy and the brisket was cooked well. The Mac was a bit stiff, warm but kinda like the cheese sauce could have used more liquid. The greens were really good in my opinion. The cowboy beans could have used a touch more brown sugar but once again, personal preference. The Peach Habanero sauce was fun spicy, the Sweet Rebel was too sweet for personal taste but they mixed well together. Overall nice and simple establishment. Will return. OMG what has happened to this place? I've been multiple times without issue. I had just raved about the food, but the last visit was very disappointing. They substituted the cut of meat I requested with no consult. The hushpuppies were dry and without the sauce. The peach cobbler, which I was really looking forward to, was trash. I'm not sure if I got any peach pieces, just the weak flavor. There was a chunk of the crunchy crust and everything else was like a gummy slurry mess and not consumable. Been a couple of times and always been pleased with the food and service. Wings are my favorites, and I like their sides. Mac and cheese, collards, fries, slaw.... so far, I haven't tasted any side that I haven't liked. Family really enjoyed their brisket sandwich with the peach sauce and slaw. Service is always friendly and fast, and staff are helpful and welcoming. Place is small with limited seating and always clean. So happy to have another non-fast food place to enjoy! read more

I went by this place a few weeks back on a Monday and they were closed. After reading the AJC article, I checked what days open and went today. I am a Master bbq judge in both KCBS & GBA bbq groups so those are my bonafidies. They served me the best smoked turkey that I have ever had at a bbq restaurant. Super moist and pulled apart easily with great smoked flavor. By the way, I used none of the four sauces offered on any of the meats served. The brisket was not dry even when eaten without any sauce and pulled apart easily. The rub had a good flavor and the smoke permeated the meat. If you like fall off the bone ribs, this place is for you. Unlike competition ribs which tend to be a little tight, these let the meat pull off the bone easily and the dry rub was excellent. Not much seating, so you might want to go on a weekday or get a to go order on the weekend. The young man who took my order was friendly and patient. read more

It's hard to find good BBQ around here. It's even more rare to find a place with great meats and sides. We enjoyed the sampler, smoked turkey plate and brisket sammys. I came by and they were closed and then came by same time different day. I don't who's the bbq master chef but I had chicken wings, brisket, and spareribs. Everything was tender. The brisket had the marble pull cause I like that kind of cut and the chicken wings were smoked perfectly and they're regular barbecue sauce is so amazing and then I got a side of mac & cheese and collard greens I was so surprised on. It tasted so good as well. It seemed like the greens had like this smoked flavor to it and the macaroni and cheese was a white macaroni and cheese. I have eaten there a few times now for lunch over the last month after a friend of mine told me about the place. I found the food was delicious! It is cooked to order so be prepared to wait patiently in the a/c for 5 minutes to get your food. It is not Taco Bell! It is nice to eat at a place that is affordable with high quality food and the sweet corn hushpuppies that they have with the dipping sauce is delicious. The cowboy beans and French fries were good. Overall, the experience was substandard to say the least for a first impression. My husband and I were extremely disappointed by the fact that they were out of ribs, pulled pork and chicken. Not to mention everything else that we had was disgusting! The brisket was tough and bland. The collard greens were extremely sweet, undercooked and tough. The mac and cheese was also flavorless. The fact that this restaurant has all of these positive reviews on social media is absolutely mind blowing. Are these people relatives or close friends? Perhaps, they have low standards and expectations of what quality food actually is. For over $50 spent, this was a huge let down, especially not being able to get what we really wanted.
