My family and I love to go to American deli when we go to Atlanta. Kind of wish there were some locations here in Florida. My kids love the wings and so do I but one thing I did not notice that American deli offer salads. And the salad is what I absolutely enjoyed. You definitely get your moneys worth. Rude new staff! Gave my son serious hot food! I offered keep the food and buy a mild version of the food for my son. They said they only made one sauce. It was absolutely ridiculous. They were so rude and wouldn't even let me buy a mild form of the food. I couldn't even get through the wings and I usually eat really hot wings. They made them so extremely hot and I like really spicy food had to drive somewhere else and get him some food he could tolerate I had to drink milk and even eat bread and I got sores in my mouth so rude disrespectful. The location is clean and the food is always consistently good! The service is also good. They're located next to the Walmart shipping center so parking is plentiful. I got a 6 piece wing combo and it was roughly $7 with tax. This includes wings, fries, and a drink. They also fry the wings hard without being told too which is nice. So I kinda knew what to expect and I got just that. Everything was just OK, nothing wrong with anything, but just ok. I tried the gyro meal, price did not match the website menu, but no big deal. The problem was that it is a pre-cut pre-cooked couple of slices of meat (not bad for what it was) but not nearly enough for the sandwich. The sauce had not flavor, not good, not bad, just kinda nothing. On the up side, tons of crinkle cut fries, and nice and crispy Not bad for $8. I will give it another shot, just not the gyro. A side note, I saw several people order wings, they consider each section to be a wing. So compared to some places that give you both sections, they count each section as a piece. The food is insanely good, well prepared. I always get the 10 piece with veggie fried rice, and let me tell you. The cooks are incredibly good at what they do. The fried rice is cooked perfectly everytime. Perfect amount of seasoning. It's cooked for every order. Please give these cooks a raise cause I be killing it man. The service is really well to, they greet you once you come in. They get your order right. They're really easy to speak to. No mean mugging or with an attitude just great service. The place is also really well organized it's clean it's honestly the BEST American Deli out here and I'm really glad I live 30 seconds away driving. So American Deli is apparently a thing. What do they serve here? Is it Georgia's Katz Deli? Haha, no. Now, to be fair, the word delicatessen doesn't necessarily mean anything beyond ready-to-eat food products. That's what American Deli provides, I suppose. American Deli features burgers, sandwiches, wings, gyros, and Philly steaks. I ordered the Deli Combo - sandwich, wings, and a drink. There were a few choices for wing flavors, and I went with lemon pepper. The sandwich choices were even more plentiful, and I had a hard time deciding between ham and turkey. Once I got the food, I almost instantly regretted not ordering something with fries. For around $1-2 cheaper, I could've gotten something that didn't feature the smallest wings that I've ever seen. My idea to ask for a refund or exchange was foiled by their cash register sign that says "No Refunds or Exchanges." No just kidding. Who would actually pull that crap at a fast food place? While it wasn't bad, the sandwich was nothing special. The lemon pepper wings were better than the ones during my most recent Hooters visit, but they were smaller than KFC wings. American Deli is a decent choice for lunch. If picking between wings or fries as your side, go with fries. I mourn the loss of the Asian buffet that once operated next to this place - it provided a very good lunch for a comparable price.
