A tad bit over rated and very crowded . I came here on Good Friday for a bite to eat looking for some fried fish and decided that i wanted to try it here . The lines were pretty long but fast because of the people talking the orders were really moving . . . But be ready it's still definitely a good 25-30 minutes wait for the food to be ready. Please pay attention to what you order and make sure it's right i paid $57 for three plates and a banana pudding, came home to find out i was actually charged for a 4th plate and didn't realize until i was home which was a 28 minutes drive smh. We had the snapper meal with fries and 4 wings which i only had 3out of the 4, then we had the kids tender meal which came with a lot of fries and 3 tenders and then we had the catfish and Fries meal which we also asked for wings with it and that's where the issues was for the wings we were changed a whole other meal with fries and all we wanted was wings added to the catfish meal but it was rang up wrong . I give the food a 6/10 i didn't really taste the powder season on the wings but the fries were very seasoned. I attempted to leave a review on Uber Eats but they don't want my feedback. I ordered a more expensive meal to get a free banana pudding. Yum. I get my order and the pudding is missing. My son arrived and the food wasn't ready. He waited there 54 minutes for our food!! 2. The manager wouldn't give my college-educated son (not that this should matter) our PAID FOR food. The paid receipt had my son's name on it. He made my son call me to have me text him a photo of my credit card and refused to serve him the food that was PAID for AND had his name in the online instructions and on the receipt. 3. After 54 minutes of waiting, he gave my son 2 honey mustards for FIVE MEALS, and told him he'd have to pay for more!! He refused to give him a honey mustard per meal!! This guy... The counter staff, with caked-up eyelash extensions and faded honey blonde dreads that hadn't been washed or styled in years, had the audacity to have an attitude when taking my order. The food is trash over seasoned and saturated with salt. The drive-thru no longer exists; it's stacked with multiple unused cars for decoration. JJ's was a quick and easy option on the way to my hotel. It's right off the road, in a shopping center with a few other stores. There was plenty of parking and lots of seating available inside. There was a line to order but it moved quickly and the staff was keeping thing's flowing pretty well. I ordered to-go and waited about ten minutes for my food. It was piping hot and came with a bunch of condiments. I got the 3 piece whiting dinner with okra as my side. While the okra and fries were good, the fish didn't have much flavor despite being hot and crispy. I added hot sauce and tartar so it was still a good meal. I ordered the fish combo (aka pick 2) and got 3pc wings with 10pc shrimp. The chicken was perfect and the shrimp were amazing per usual. They are always somewhat busy but the waits are never too long and food is fresh every time. The best part is the "crack" seasoning which is a fine lemon pepper type blend. I always get extra. First order via uber eats. I wanted to eat food from here since I saw its operation. Now, I am skeptical of trying again food of any kind from here. As much as the food costs, the chicken wings, the fries and the bread slices should have been fresh and exact to the advertised picture. The cole slaw should have been more than a 2-ounce cup. I could tell that the chicken was not fresh by its wrinkly, slightly crispy skin, slight dryness of the meat and the way the joints of the wings seperated when pulled apart. Upon the first bite, I smelled a scent from the chicken meat that had me wondering how freah is the chicken. The fries were crunchy, crispy and clumpy. The fries may have been lamp heated like the chicken but were hotter in temperature. The chicken was warm, close to cold. The regular seasoning on the surfaces of the chicken and fries was good but it hindered my smelling of the chicken wings. I did like the three individual stapled bags of condiments, forks and napkins included with my order. The order was delivered in a stapled bag with the receipt on the front; the best packaging I have seen so far. read more

Everytime I'm here I enjoy my experience. I always order from the $12.99 combo section of the menu. I live the twelve shrimp and three chicken wings combo with fries and a tiny taste of delicious coleslaw. Place your order and pay at the front counter, you will be handed a small wireless calling device that lights up when your order is ready. There is no inside seating like pre-covid 19. The seating booths are roped off, I hope they bring back the inside dining. The food is always fresh and deliciously prepared. My favorite is the banana pudding. During a stay at a hotel in Stone Mountain I was looking for something good and affordable to eat and nothing at the hotel interested me. I went to yelp and this location came up with great reviews; I've eaten at JJs several times and have always enjoyed their fried shrimp so I thought, score!!! It was about a 17 minute drive from the resort and in a shopping plaza with lots of free parking. There's an entrance in the front and side of the building, I believe this location was previously a Church's chicken so that gives you an idea of the interior. It was very clean inside and there was a TV playing Friends. As soon as I entered I was greeted and helped by a welcoming cashier that placed my order. I ordered a 7 piece fried shrimp meal for $10.99 with banana pudding $2.99. I can't pass on dessert and there was a case right by the register with cakes and banana pudding everything looked delicious. Service 5 stars- was outstanding for a fast food restaurant, while waiting for my food I observed several interactions and the employees consistently welcomed each customer. Food- Banana pudding was ok, the pudding didn't have a lot of flavor but the bananas were fresh. I would try a cake next time. Shrimp dinner had very large pieces of shrimp so you the price is definitely fantastic. Although the shrimp were large the batter lacked flavor and it tasted like it was cooked in old oil. I've had shrimp at the other locations and the taste was different. Not sure what went wrong tonight but I was not a fan. The fries also had an odd taste although the portion was very large. Love, love, love this place you will never be disappointed because the system that they use to produce some of the best chicken and fish in town is done with such precision. It is always consistent no matter the location! Do not be intimidated by the lines because they move fast! And the system is so well oiled, you will not be disappointed! Chicken is always crispy made fresh to order so it's always hot. When you sprinkle it with that special seasoning it is the icing on an already perfect cake! This is a walk-in pick up location so there isn't much ambience but the place is always clean and I love the fact that it does not have those nasty fried chicken fumes....
