Came in here with some friends on a Tuesday night to randomly get tattoos. We're not from the island so we're not very familiar with any local tattoo shops so we used Yelp to check some venues out. At 10:30pm, we found that this shop was the only one open and went for it. Best decision ever. The staff is friendly, helpful, and their work is freaking dope. The place is clean and you can also get piercings there as well!! One thing I'll note is that it's cash only! Big shout outs to Enoki, who is the chillest tattoo artist ever and made the experience smooth!!! She's amazing. Would highly recommend! read more

Very unprofessional John is a jerk with an attitude problem. Hr is a big brother but acts like he should not be one He has an anger problem. Went to get a tattoo it closed lated I said well I know another place that's open a little later. He got furious told me to leave and not to come back..lol I called talked and apologized about the confusion. Came in to get some work all was good. He came and said I was no longer welcome there. For what. He is a jerk a wolf in sheep's clothing. Do not go to America tatto. Got to asailum tattoo better people that work with you. He puts on a facade. If I could give it a zero I would.. I went in an got my nipples priced. The experience wasn't bad it's self but I got them done in JULY and my nipples are still not healed. They're both crusty, bloody , swollen, red and have little lumps filled with puss in them on it .They always hurt too sadly. I haven't been able to enjoy them and i took care of them with the certain type of spray you need everyday. I'm having to take them out because of fearing i may loose a boob... My friend also is having issues with her nose ring and having a puss like bubble near her nose and she said she complains of it too. Avoid this place, first of many complaints, the men here (except Keith), including owner's brother are all pervs and will make lewd comments (towards women). Shop is dingy and they don't wipe the tattoo beds after people use them. Bodie is a straight . Friends or family aren't allowed to come back with you or check on you. "Real tattoo shop" my a$$. We got a time slot for 8:00 pm for me and my husband. We showed up and Red was finishing up a job, we had to wait about ten minutes then it was our turn. Red copied our design and off my husband went Red was very nice and made great conversation while working, his took about 30 minutes then it was my turn. We have been coming here for years because we have gotten tattoos done by Brett. He does amazing work. We called a couple days before to make sure he was going to be in/timing etc. They said he would be in at 2:30. We arrived and they managed to tell us Brett no longer works there. We were extremely disappointed. They wouldn't tell us where he went. It was terrible. Eh. Went in today to try to get a St. Patty's Day tattoo and right when we walked in the dude just yells "tattoo or piercing?" And we were like "well we just want to know if y'all are having any specials for the holiday" and he just repeated "tattoo or piercing?" So I said tattoo and he said he needed our ID's so that he could put us in line. Like we didn't even know if we wanted to go with this place. You don't just go to any shop and say screw it. You have to look at their work. Dude didn't even let us. Just took our ID's and told us to wait outside. 20 minutes goes by and we decide we don't like the way that they handled us asking questions and we were gonna go to a different parlor. We go in and the dudes ignore us and I see one guy scanning our ID's and we tried to tell him to stop bc we were gonna leave and he just kept going. Then we finally said to give them back and the dude just slapped them on the counter and grabbed the scanned papers and crumpled them up all angry. Terrible customer service. I understand it was busy and I know it's a tattoo shop and not gonna be rainbows and unicorns but this is not how you operate a business. I've been in the service industry my whole life. There's literally no excuse as to why you would give crappy customer service/communication when busy when the customer has done nothing wrong. read more

If I could leave 0 stars I would this place is terrible they are very rude and have terrible customer service. They made us wait outside forever with our ID's and as soon as we went inside and decided that we were done waiting they got angry and pretty much told us to "fuck off and go to another tattoo shop" they were very unprofessional and had attitudes as soon as we walked in the door. This shop was awesome. I came in spur of the moment to get a cover-up tattoo and I couldn't be happier with not only the work of artist, Larry, but for their hospitality. Keith was so funny and very personable with me when I walked in and discussed design ideas and Larry executed it wonderfully. I'll definitely be back the next time I'm in the area! read more

If I could give zero stars, I would. There were many red flags that I wish I would have noticed prior to getting pierced as I would have not have gone through with it. First, they do not accept cards, which is weird for a tattoo place. All I was getting done was a second and third piercing on my earlobes and the piercer could not get the marks even on my ears, so he called over the tattoo artist to help. When he actually went to pierce it, he didn't do one of the piercings where he had originally marked it. So now I have to take out that earring, let it close up, and get it repierced by someone who knows what they're doing. Also, on one of the piercings he messed it up the first time and had to repierce it which cause it to bleed a lot. I would not recommend this place to anyone. read more

Small space, but the workers were nice and worked well with what I wanted and did an amazing job! I got a laughing Buddha with a lotus flower and the line work is great! The black shading is completely black no splotching, pricing I thought was a little steep but I'm very happy with the quality of the work so it was worth it! read more

Decided on a whim to stop in and get a tattoo. Process was very smooth and they had protocols in place to protect their clients from COVID. The tattoo process was pleasant and John Boy was very attentive and communicative with what I wanted as well as what would come out well with the tattoo. 10/10 recommend and 10/10 would go back. read more

Went with my BFF to get tattoo's. She had one done on her forearm and it looks AMAZING! I got one on my shoulder with color and it also looks AMAZING! They have a very light hand. Just sharing my experience. I have a small heart shaped blood blister on my right pinky finger. I went in to see how much it would cost to just have a heart tattooed on top of it. The guy suggested I not do it. He said "just wait until it heals" I said .....um it's been there over 25 years now. He said "yeah just wait until it heals" I said..... It's not gonna change. It's been there over 25 years. He goes. "I could get a saw and cut it off". I walked out. #weird read more

This place SUCKED. First I walk in and I have this man start yelling at me out of nowhere, then he says that they only accept cash only! I had to fill out all this paperwork and pay before moving on. The person asked my if I wanted a stud or a hoop, but I thought you had to get a stud first. I said hoop, and it was a terrible decision. He sat me down in a chair, and made a mark on my nose. When all of this was going on he was not paying attention, instead he was watching T.V. I didn't even get to see what the jewelry or needle looked like. He stuck it right through my nose and then put the hoop in after. The hoop and the hole was huge for what I was expecting. I was in pain for days, and my nose was soooo swollen. Finally today I went and saw another piecer and they were in shock when they saw my nose. They said the piecer did the piercing with the wrong size needle and was not supposed to give me the option of getting a hoop. I just wasted 60$ plus a 10$ tip on this stupid place. I am so upset and now I have to go get this humongous hole fixed. If I could leave zero stars I would. DO NOT GO TO THIS PLACE FOR PIERCINGS! read more
