The guy came out looked at it then told me he needed to take it into the garage to look at it (which of course was out of my sight). A few minutes later he came back in and told me I was gonna need a whole new windshield because while he was getting his tools the crack spread. He said the difference in temperature caused it. I don't think so unless his garage is 30 degrees or below which I doubt. I just feel he didn't want to mess with it so made it worse . I WILL NEVER go back and when I do get a new windshield I will look for a reputable company and am telling all my family and friends and anyone else who will listen not to go there as well. Shady characters working there. Shame on them !

And when I say that, know that I was in the shop when it was tinted and even took my own phone light and inspected as we went along. 18mo later I traded in that truck and got a new car. Bought it 8/28/18, had it tinted today 8/31/18. Again, in the shop every bit of the way. This time it was an 18' prius prime. If you've never seen the back hatch windows, google them. You'll see two pcs of glass with complex curves in both of them. It was his first Prime to tackle and got the back glass first try. Now the smaller one below it did take a couple tries but it was perfect none the less. I went over every piece of glass (10 total) and checked everyone of them with flashlight in hand. Only one small corner needed repressed from moisture still under it. By small I mean less than a pencil eraser. As for the tint, I even looked up the brand and done research on it while I was there. I cant remember the acronym off the top of my head right now, not easy like 3M. But either way it has UV blocker and great thickness, not some off the wall ebay junk. Cant remember the cost of the truck but todays cost was $300 and almost positive the truck was too. Now having said that, he did say the next prime will cost a little more just bc the curves are a bit harder. I got a slight better deal being a repeat customer and that being the first prime, he got to learn the car. Not sure what the other review is as I wasn't there, but Ill say this: -If you don't inspect when picking up, then thats your fault. (I know, you shouldn't have to but still) -steel wool (very fine at that) is used to remove old tint from rear windows due to the defrosters. Cant use a razor blade or you'll cut the defrosters -the other poster failed to mention that it was a retint and not a new install, which complicates things. -cant imagine someone who's been in the tint business for double digit years using a marker to try and fill in. Even I know it don't work and I don't do tint for a living. (Tried it on an old dodge I tried to tint once) So, to sum it up. In my case he's an honest guy just trying to make a living. No fancy laser machine like big box stores, nor a fancy shop. Still, two vehicles and both flawless. Even after the first one, I still inspected before I drove away. Ive had no balking or bickering even if I ask "hey, is this a bubble or a moisture spot" a few too many times. (I can now tell the difference) This is my second vehicle and once I peel all the old tint off my envoy, I wont hesitate again to call Dusty for tint. EDIT: 9/7/18: Been a few days since the install. All is well. To keep it fair and honest I did finally find one small spot that showed up in the back glass. You can see it in the photos. Brought it back and mentioned it, couple quick swipes and all was good. On a side note, the day It was done, He even allowed me to plug the car in and charge it the whole time it was being worked on. Not that it takes much energy but still, thats his power bill.
