We were rushed, the improper measurements taken, the staff member (named Tony) continuously complaining that he "couldn't wait to leave and get out of here" and that "they don't have the man power" (although we were the only people there. He did not remeasure once the (incorrect) suits were tried on, then had us checked out before we could even answer questions and he was out the door before we were. We decided to go with a much better store, and called men's warehouse to cancel our rental and get a refund. We were recommended to go in store instead, but once we arrived we waited for 35 minutes (and saw one person with an appointment not be helped until 15 minutes after his appointment, and another person told that it would take 30 minutes to purely ring him up with information they already had in their system). The woman (we did not get introduced) proceeded to have us write down our phone numbers and told us they'd call us to cancel. She was rude, racially prejudiced, spoke with a disrespectful tone, and overall unhelpful. Mens Warehouse, if you are unable to take appointments in a timely manner because low staffing, then do not schedule too many appointments (as i assume this is the main reason so many of their workers are miserable). If this is not the reason, then I hope that they stop looking for "rude, disrespectful, poor task management, and bad customer service" on the resumes of their staff members. I suggest not using them for any event, and finding a more local, professional, and helpful store near North Olmsted!

It's that kind of skill in your profession combined with top-notch customer service that deserves a raise or bonus, in my opinion--especially in today's day and age, where it feels like that combo is getting rarer and rarer.

When we walked in, Beth had such a inviting presence. I knew that we were going to be well taken care of the second we walked in. We had met some other consultants at the bridal show (they too were amazing -- very personable, and were EXCITED to help us), and were able to show us exactly what we wanted for my fiance, so we thought we might as well go look for a tux for him. So at the bridal show, we paid a $20 deposit, and we were able to schedule an appointment within a couple of days. We knew exactly what we wanted for my fiance - a navy tux with black lapels, however, we had no idea what we wanted for the other groomsmen or fathers. When we went to another rental store (popular, big named store), they had 5 tuxes and suits to choose from -- at Tuxedo Junction, they had to have AT LEAST 30 different tuxedos and suits to choose from. I was so impressed by the quality of the products, the variety of accessories (literally, every color or design you could think of), and most of all the service. Yes, they are a little bit slow, but that is because they are taking care of every customer one at a time. It is a small store, so there is only so much they can do. I felt appreciated, wanted, and they were excited to help me. I did not feel like I was just another appointment they had to go through, I felt like a customer who was appreciated. Needless to say, if you need a tux for a wedding, prom, or just because you want to buy or rent one, go to Tuxedo Junction. It was worth the drive.

Sarah, the JCBPenney Beauty Sales Associate was really pleasant and exceptionally helpful. She answered my friend and I's questions. BEAUTY BRANDS -- There are so many brands to choose from with a majority being from JCPenney Beauty and Thirteen Lune. Thirteen Lune is a female black-owned company that sells beauty products from small black-owned businesses. There are also many other brands from minority business owners such as Jason Wu (Asian). I recommend JCPenney Beauty because they carry plenty of products for black people which is sometimes hard to find in the bigger beauty stores. I will definitely be back to the beauty store at JCPenney. JCPENNEY DRESSES -- Right now, JCPenney has partnered with celebrity designer, Prabal Gurung, for an exclusive line of clothing. The designer is from Nepal but he moved to America years ago. His line with JCPenney is an inclusive line so it is more affordable than his usual $800-$2500 pieces. There was a descent selection of Men's Land's End clothes and suits. Upstairs had appliances, mattresses, home decor, and kids clothes. There is also a Kids Land's End upstairs with backpacks, lunch boxes, and clothes. I would not recommend going to this location unless you shop at the Land's End department.

I enjoy shopping at all 3 of the American Cancer Society Discovery Shops, each one has its own…read morepersonality. The Fairview Park shop is a nice combination of clothes and some great bric a brac. Located in a medium sized plaza the Discovery Shop is also medium sized, always clean and well organized and you can find some great finds. Each week they have a 50% off color and the last weekend of the month everything in the store is 50% off. At this store I have found some really good clothes finds, especially on the men's clearance rack where the cost is $1 per item. I have found suit jackets, shirts and pants, while the men's selection is not large, what they have is usually very good and high quality. I have noticed that this store has a much larger selection of women's clothes. The store usually has a nice small selection of dishes, kitchenware and art; they do have some really interesting items up near the register, they often have some pieces from Europe, Asia and Africa. The selection seems to change everytime I have visited, nothing seems to last long at this shop. As an example I found a really nice leather motorcycle bag for under $10. The Fairview Park Discovery Shop is a fun and diverse place to do some thrifting; not the biggest store, but they really do a great job of making sure that they are selling high quality items at great prices. Not the kind of thrift store you are going to spend hours at, but well worth a visit whenever you are in the area to check out what they have. Plus the proceeds benefit the American Cancer Society which is a very worthwhile charity.
