At check out I asked if they have any promotions to help with my order since it was quite large. The sales person said I could add every item to my app and she could price match each item. This is an easy way to get people to never shop in your store. Thats a huge waste of time and she never offered help. When she rang me up it was $290. When I scanned everything and added it to my app it rang up $236. There shouldn't be an almost $60 difference for just shopping online. The customer should not have to jump through all these hoops for the most fair price. Then we saw if we have a college student we can get an additional 20% off. But that website wasn't working in their store! So all around since she wouldn't help me at all, it's just better to shop online? I said forget it, came home and checked out on my app instead and saved $100!!! That's ridiculous. I should not be penalized for shopping in store and supporting the local economy. Went to this store trying to get a price adjustment on a skirt I purchase two days ago well it turns out(Vanessa or jessica) (I honestly forgot I was soo upset! ) this afternoon it switched back to original price but when you look up the skirt on the internet on the stores preview link it shows the $29.96 and she said she couldn't price match it Bcus it the INTERNET.. but it still the link to their page I feel like it should've still been honored!!! 1 star is for the employee named Jailene. Went to do a simple return, right away got a dirty look from her for no reason. She first spoke to me with a bad attitude then didn't say anything for the rest of the return. I get maybe she hates her job but she shouldn't take it out on the customers. It's been a while since my last purchase to American Eagle. Went there just to browse around but end up buying a pair of jeans. I love American Eagle jeans they fit like no other brand. Whenever I went there I always something that I end up buying some more clothes. Their associates that work there is very patient, attentive & helpful, they are always willing to help when you need it. And They have a terrific selection of reasonable prices clothing. when I have shopped at American Eagle I have been very satisfied with the quality of their clothing and the services. The effort they went to was awesome, and they are friendly without being pushy. Used to be my favorite brand and I appreciate all the efforts to make sure that my shopping experience awesome. read more

I used to like American Eagle Outfitters but they started to look like their competitors. They didn't stand out anymore and I found that their style was very bland. I walked in and made contact with a couple of employees but none of them even greeted me nor asked if I needed help finding anything. The store was surprisingly clean for Labor Day and I like how this store was brightly lit unlike it's competitor, Abercrombie & Fitch. Would I come back here? Recently my visits have been so great. I love the attitude the fitting room persons have. I think her name was Destiny, she was a huge help when my daughter was looking for jeans. Very informative and helpful. Then there was another girl too, her name must be Emily, unless I misheard it but she was very helpful as well. These two girls always made sure we were doing okay and I felt welcomed by their positive attitude. Also cashier person was very helpful as well, she was super nice sweet, she also signed me up for the rewards program for amazing coupons. Nice selection, organized clearance section, and the line always moves really quickly. It can be hard to get a dressing room at times, though, because it seems like the staff is always doing something else. I have had to press the help button on a dressing room a few times after waiting a good five minutes for someone to help me. read more

Wow. Is it just me or does It seem like every employee in this store hates there job. Just stopped in for a last minute Xmas gift and the older girl (possibly manager) at the cash wrap was so disrespectful. She was sassy, rude and kept staring at the front door. No name badge or any way for me to identify her either. She rang me up for one item, threw my receipt in the bag. And that's it. Wow. No happy holiday, no thank you.. Nothing. My feedback to the company or manager of that store would be you must be losing money left and right because there was no customer service and no welcoming attitude. I tend to order online rather than go to the store but American Eagle/Aerie has never disappointed me. Whether it's in store or online shopping I'm doing, everything is organized accordingly and easy to find. Customer service is friendly and helpful while remaining unintrusive. Although the prices are higher, the quality comes with it. Cheap clothes fall apart over time, but AEO clothes get nicely worn out; they're built to last. I will definitely remain a loyal customer. read more

Wow, I feel old when I go in this store. That is no reflection on the store itself, just me in denial about getting older. I stopped in because I wanted to get a pair of shorts. I found what I wanted and headed back to the fitting rooms to find that all the doors are locked and no one is around. Had to walk all the way back to the front/register area to find someone to unlock the doors and then had to walk all the way back to the fitting room. Sorry but I find that super annoying. If you are going to lock the fitting room doors, you should have an employee back there at all times. Or start putting censors on all your clothing if you are worried about theft. read more
