I had a very uneven experience at Men's Wearhouse. I initially went into a location for a fitting, and they took all my information, including the shoes I wanted, and the tie and color I wanted. I had arranged for the suit to be picked up at a location in Florida because I was attending a wedding. Fast-forward to the day that I went to pick up my suit not only did they have the wrong shoes listed, but they did not add the tie that I had requested on the order form. Thankfully, at least the store had the right shoes. But we had to spend additional time picking out a new tie. After much back-and-forth, the location decided to give us the tie that we had selected for the inconvenience. What should have been a 20 minute visit to pick up a suit and tie turned into about an hour ordeal because things weren't written down properly and or missed. read more

great experience! unexpectedly good! we came here with the intention of just looking for a suit for my partner and we ended up outfitting him all for the wedding. all in one day! he is really lucky! He was given a nice suit and then they told us that it was 50% off (very cheap) so we took 2 instead of one! he will need it sometime :-). in addition we found everything else that goes - a shirt, socks, a tie, some accessories for a tie, a belt and shoes. and for all items there was some discount. For example : the price for 1 item is $15 but if you buy 4 it will be $ 30. and of course we bought everything. the girl who works there is extremely kind! she delighted me too (beside the store ). she gave us a business card so I know her name is Yamileth. Honestly, I am very happy because we finished everything in a couple of hours. at least as far as he's concerned. just one store and that's it. but the most important thing is that they really have good prices! The person helping us thoroughly went over all the options with us that they had and assisted us in selecting the right materials and colors for our wedding. The lady assisting us wasn't the most personable, but she wasn't rude either. He works at the Schaumburg , IL location. I went in for a suit for very last minute day of wedding I was attending. I originally was going to go to the mall but on my way saw a Men's Wearhouse. Knowing that this company is essentially designed for what I was in need of I thought I'd stop by before hitting the mall. I was astonished with how fast this gentleman was able to make me feel comfortable, stylish and confident about being prepared for tonight's event. Yesterday I walked in needing to get a suit jacket separate (I had accidentally left my suit at home) and I had a wedding and was short on time. Unfortunately I did not get the names of the associates and tailor who helped me but they got me fitted and tailored the sleeve of the jacket in about 30 minutes and this was a Saturday!!!! Fairly toothless customer service. The employees act like they're going out of their way just to do their jobs, and completely took my business for granted. Once I paid for my rentals, they acted like I didn't exist anymore. Also, make sure you have everything, because another customer was complaining that they were missing items from a rental, and had to "make due" without the items at a wedding he was standing up in. I'm not sure what's the point of going in this place to spend time getting tailored, and trying things on, for the day to come not have time to try it on again for when we have to pickup and go put it on and nothing fit like it fit inside the place you went to get it fit. As the recent bride of a "bride and groom" team who utilized Men's Warehouse as their choice vendor for tuxes, I have very little complaints. On our first visit to the store, the gentleman that we met with was, let me say....kinda a d-bag, but after our second visit and working with Martina, she totally changed our whole opinion about this company and sold us on the tuxes. Martina's customer service skills are exceptional and she is a delight to work with. Smiley and cheerful and very helpful. If you don't know what you're doing or know what you want, stop in and ask for Martina. She will help you figure it all out. I guarantee it. With 6 tux rentals, we had the option of having the groom's tux for free or a $500 credit towards a new suit. I knew that my hubby to be was going to need a black suit post wedding, therefore, we opted to pay for his tux and get the suit. We went back to the store a few weeks after the wedding and forgive me for forgetting your name, awesome guy that helped us, but we had another awesome experience. He showed us the suits and gave us a crash course on the styles, which we appreciated. We also did a little shopping and got two pairs of Lucky jeans at a wonderful price. Yes, they have jeans. In fact, they have a lot of clothes. I have been telling a lot of people of the great deal we got on the jeans and even the suit, and it appears that people didn't even know MW carried anything beside suits. I'm happy to educate my friends and now...you lovely Yelp people. Stop in and see Martina and get some shopping done for the special man in your life. Raz Pironcof was a super salesman! I hadn't bought a suit for a couple years but knew what color i wanted. I was greeted by Raz when I entered and he quickly took my measurements. Then we went to some suits. We were done after trying on several price ranges. He was able to knock off 75% light it was nothing. Alterations done in a couple weeks. Perfect!! Came for a tuxedo rental for my wedding, my first encounter was in the Algonquin location, staff was very rude , older gentleman gave me an attitude and I walked out. I came to the Schaumburg location and the staff was a lot nicer only reason I gave 2 stars. When my suit was ready I came to pick it up, everything fit well but the tuxedo was very wrinkled, I asked them to press it older gentleman that was helping me went to the back for 5 minutes and stated it was done, I got home and the tuxedo looked exactly the same very wrinkled. My father in law same issue very wrinkled. My best man also got a tuxedo, everything on him was huge, he got fitted but the suit still was huge, he had to go buy another shirt and fix the pants, had more guys in the group with similar issues. We Walked through the door at 8:15pm eager to shop for Prom Suits... immediately no one acknowledged our presence in the store . As we walked past several employees to go look at the inventory. We waited 15 minutes patiently for a staff member to ask if we needed any assistance or help and after 20 minutes of no assistance. I had officially had enough and we left. Went into the store to look at suits and use a coupon I had from my wedding. As soon as I got into the store, he was fantastic. He asked me what I was looking for and what details I wanted from the suit. Within minutes he showed me the selection that matched my criteria. Within about 20 min of my visit, I had pretty much set my mind on a suit. Paul could've easily convinced me to buy a suit that required an out-of-pocket expense since I had a voucher but he didn't. He recommended a suit that was within the voucher range and only the tailoring services he thought I might need. I highly recommend Paul Alberts for your next suit and I can promise you that your shopping experience with Paul will be nothing short of great. The saleswoman, Betime, didn't bat an eye and got right to work asking my questions about my style and preference while taking my measurements. She was driven to have me leave there satisfied. She picked out several suits in several styles until we found two I really liked. She asked the tailor to please have one done by tomorrow and he said no problem. I left, having spent a considerable amount of money, but I was overly satisfied. She's even offered to steam my shirt for my interview in the morning. I've been back twice now and every rep has been awesome at helping me, especially since I have no fashion sense. People at work have taken notice of my much upgraded wardrobe. I am a female with very specific suit needs for my job. I've tried so many women's suits, but they just don't meet my professional needs. I was nervous about being a female going into a men's store, but they were all so very helpful. None of them batted an eye and just went to work helping me find what I needed without judgement. They found a couple of suits and shirts that look great on me and meet my needs. All of the items were very reasonably priced. I went here with my fiance and his best man to look at tuxedo options. The girl that was helping us was a teenager (or at least looked like it) and was so incredibly unprofessional. She probably felt comfortable with us since we are a younger couple, but she kept hitting on/picking on the best man which was very rude. Not only that.... but she talked waaaaayyy too much. She would blabber on about one suit for 10 minutes, even if we had already decided against it. We couldn't get away from her. Their selection of grey tuxedos was very limited (maybe 2 options) and their prices were outrageous. Right afterwards we went to Formally Modern Tuxedo down the street and found a tux in a matter of seconds. The customer service was 10 times better there and their prices can't be beat. Rented a tuxedo from here through my wife's place of employment, to attend her awards dinner. I don't know who dropped the ball, but it certainly wasn't me, as my testicles had ZERO room to shift. The styling of these choad chokers appeared to be a collaborative effort between Prince, Steve Urkle, and a severely traumatized Hurricane Katrina flood victim. I would not rule out a conspiracy linking Men's Wearhouse to the Gates Foundation, making these trousers as an experimental sterilization technique for subtle mass depopulation. The jacket, on the other hand, had to have come from the wardrobe of the "Ice Ice Baby" video shoot. I felt like I was in an 8-bit video game with those ridiculously boxy shoulders. My kids thought I was a Minecraft character. I have no doubt that a self-administered North Korean penis size survey could produce more accurate measurements than the Men's Wearhouse Schaumburg employees. **Always try on your suit in advance...lesson learned! Walked in on a busy Saturday to complete a tuxedo measurement and rental for an event in Florida. After a couple of minutes, I was approached by Yuliya (Juliya?) who politely inquired whether she could help. When I explained I did not have an appointment for a tuxedo rental, she cautioned me that I may need to wait 10-15 minutes for the head of the department to be available, but she would let her know I was waiting. After a brief discussion, Yuliya took the initiative to assist me personally, despite this not being her department or area of expertise. She proceeded to spend the next half hour assisting me with measurements and style selection. The head of the department was also helpful when the computer presented a challenge with reserving sone of the items. In the end, I had a pleasant conversation and really enjoyable customer service experience and my needs were resolved at exactly the same time as the people who were being assisted ahead of me.
