I called and explained i was a first timer and he put my mind at easy over the telephone and to my surprise whats the odds he was already at the Marina del Rey Sheriff's department where my daughter was being held wow !!! I was so grateful he was already there he said get out your car and come in the Lobby. I walked in the station he greeted me with a smile and told me everything was going to be okay. He explained in detail what I needed to do and asked for my email address sent me the documents and I sat in my car completed them. He came out the station told me she should coming out shortly and that copies of all the documents would be emailed to me shortly and they were as promised. He told to make sure she showed up on her assigned court date and all would be done. It was such an easier process than I expected. They charged exorbitant amounts of money for an ankle bracelet for someone who was kidnapped by unknown agents without a visible name, uniform, or badge number and dragged into a car, one or two days after he was released on bail. For hardworking people, the amounts this office charges are outrageous and impossible to pay monthly on an immigrant's wages, especially with many children to feed. They kept asking what valuables all our family members have and the titles to our property and wanted to take the few non-valuables we have. Be careful. They work directly with ICE agents and give them their clients' GPS locations so that ICE can arrest them once they are released from county jail, deport them, and this office keeps the bail money deposit from their client's elderly mother for themselves.
