I took my three piece suit to be dry cleaned and pressed by another cleaner, they almost ruined it, I received the suit in the same condition I had dropped it off in. Thankfully, Dalla's gave it a shot and they were amazing. They removed all of the makeup stains and missed spots that the other dry cleaners didn't take care of. There was also a problem area on the sleeve that looked like the previous dry cleaners over treated. Dalla's was able to get that squared away also. I've been coming to this cleaners since 2007. It was my go-to spot in Downey for years, especially being Mexican- owned, and I stayed loyal even through small issues over time because I'm not the type to make a big deal out of things. That loyalty clearly meant nothing. Recently, I had an item done (not naming what it was), and they did it wrong. When I went back to have their mistake fixed, instead of owning it, I was met with attitude like it was somehow my fault or like I should've just taken the loss. After nearly two decades of giving them my business, that's the treatment I got. On top of that, their prices have gone up significantly. It's impossible that they didn't have you extra buttons laying around so I assume that he did not want my business because my skin color was too brown. The cleaning was great. However, I dropped my item off on Friday after 5pm.... I'd say 535ish...everything was open- lights and doors.... everything...and I was met with we close on Fridays at 5. No hello hi how are you. Lol I only came here because on their yelp page it clearly states open 24 hours. Yes, sounds unreasonable to be open for 24 hours, but since I had very little time I drove over there quickly to see that they were visibly open. Update your yelp page instead of informing people after they arrive in a grouchy manner. Very disappointed in their false quote and lack of accountability. I put out a project through Yelp because I needed a few pairs of beach pants altered as they were too long. Dalla's responded to my project and quoted me $14 flat rate. I responded with a few more questions and after confirming - I made my way over to drop off the pants. I was greeted by a less than friendly cashier who was abrupt and emotionless when I stated I didn't know off the top of my head how much I needed them altered. I stated I'd like to try them on to determine the cuts because I wanted them a bit long still (beach pants should be on the longer side) and she just said okay... while staring at me. I did not realize there was a fitting area off to the side until she said "go!" And ushered me to the side with her arm. I quickly tried them on and came out for her to do the pinning and she was annoyed with me questioning if where she pinned was going to still keep them in the longer side like I wanted when she asked "is this fine?" She said "well they will drag so yeah if that's what you want!" And I just said okay and changed back into my shorts. When I came out she rang up the charge and it came out to $32 dollars!! More than double what I had been quoted. I stated that I think there is a mistake and mentioned what I was quoted through messages. She asked to see what I was quoted and after reading the messages she stated it was due to my need for them to be done quickly and I told her I was told it was okay as I had asked the owner if I should just bring them before 10am on Monday to avoid the rush fee (same day free of charge) and he said no that I could bring them in that day. She then told me she could find out for me but she's never been aware of them giving quotes out that way and would need to check with the owner. I took the pants with me and left and messaged the owner again several times and got no response. This was just poorly handled and very off putting for a Downey business to conduct themself in this manner. I'm happy I found another honest business that had quoted me actually stuck to their quote and the pants were altered beautifully. read more

I found this alteration/cleaners location by using the project tool on yelp. it was great because I was able to ask local alterations how much their average rate was and what is their average turnaround. Dalla replied within just a few hours and this was on a weekend so it was great to get that information. I was able to go by after work the next day to drop off pants they even had my husband try them on and marked it to the length he wanted. I needed a cleaners to steam and do same day alterations for a dress that I was going to wear the next day and needed one on my way to work. I called Dalla's to see if they could alter the length of the sleeves on my dress and let them know I needed it that evening, I was told no problem bringing it in. I got there and was greeted by a young man who I spoke with on the phone. He asked me what exactly I needed and explained I need my sleeves shortened by 3 inches, and he convinced me to try on the dress to get an accurate measurement. Boy am I glad I did, because it was way more than 3 inches that needed to be altered. Well I picked up my dress and it was the perfect arm length and the stitching was excellent couldn't tell anything was fixed and they steamed my dress at no charge!
