Past few days was at home with chills and fever then sore throat. Although chills lasted a day the sore throat stayed. Today day 3 decided to go to Urgent Care to be seen. I looked online no wait times and put in for 11:10 appointment. - I waited til 12:30 to be seen - Someone who came in as a walk in was seen before me with an appointment! - I got in room and my concerns were a rushed questionnaire NOT a conversation Once seen everything came back negative. But did another test to be on safe side. I told them I'm deadly allergic to ibuprofen and what does the Nurse Practitioner recommend is that and gargle with salt water such a waste of 2.5 hrs of my day! I next day did a virtual visit with my actual doctor who confirmed hand foot and mouth NOT strep! Said the unguent care should've caught it right away! read more

I came here explaining I've had the worst sore throat of my life, likely the new Nimbus covid variant which feels like you're swallowing razor blades, and the doctor saw me in maybe 3 minutes and prescribed me lozenges. I walked in for treatment this past April and only waited 25 minutes to see the PA. She diagnosed my symptoms and called in a prescription to my pharmacy. I did not realize my pharmacy had updated hours and they were now closed on Sundays, so I called this location to ask for my prescription to be redirected and it was transferred within a few minutes to a nearby pharmacy that was open. I repeat this is the worst afc ever. I walked in at 320pm and was told I couldn't be seen. The lady was like I'm leaving at 4pm today and I can't see you. There was 2 people sitting there. I asked to speak to the manager and they kept saying no. I have had issues here in the past and only by necessity did I need to go here today because the other location I goto was closed. Unfortunately, I'm not happy to say that I had the worst experience at this facility. What a shameful and disrespectful stuff. Moreover, there is no contact phone number, and they never respond the emails. After one hour and 38 minutes on the phone trying to get my testing results, the lady at the front desk didn't want to talk and hang out on me, Saying mam " you should check it online." I was supposed to get my results in less than 48 hours. Otherwise, I had to repeat the test, which until this day, they never gave me the results. This was the second time I've gone to this place for an advertised service only to find they do not actually offer it. This time it was for a sports injury for which I needed an Xray. Surprise after seeing a nurse and a doc: they don't do Xrays there. I had to go to a different business, where I had a long wait, had to fill out forms all over again - and then learned the doc I'd seen at AFC was not certified for Medicare. A clerical error, but it meant I didn't get an Xray. The doc at AFC did give me a brace for my wrist. Previously I went to them for dehydration, which they listed as something they treat. Had an appointment at 3 yesterday and came to a closed door with a sign - closed today to an emergency. there was nothing on their website to indicate that, and I was also getting automated text messages all along that my appointment is coming up and not to be late! Decided to come back today again, with no appointment, and I was there at 8. The doors were again locked with the sign from yesterday on it. Called them and finally got someone on the phone saying that they are opening at 8:30 today. The website still says 8. It is unacceptable and shameful to waste people's time like this. read more

Not sure why the haters. I came in for a bad cold that may have been the flu. Felt the entire staff was professional and took their time. Everything was clean and masks were provided for coughing and sneezing patients. The doctor was amazing and really took her time with me. Reviewed all my symptoms and tested me for the flu. Starting this review as I sit in the waiting room waiting for my husband. He reserved a time, (12:00), at about 10:30 this morning. He showed up at 12:00 to be told it was a 90 minute wait. He gets called to the back around 1:20. But now it's 30 minutes later, he's still back there, and he has yet to see the doctor. I know it's Saturday, but don't offer reservations you can't keep, don't call people back so they can sit there and wait, and don't misjudge your wait time. They also take your co-pay at the beginning so if you decide to leave and not keep waiting you have to get your money back. Now it's 2:00 and he's seen the doctor and got prescribed an antibiotic. Also, if you check the "not recommended" reviews, you'll find they're almost all bad (I'm guessing they're not recommended because they are the writers' only review, but they have a level of detail that suggests authenticity), so don't be fooled by the star rating. read more

My complaint to the administrator was rapidly and efficiently handled. A++ Physician was completely rude, inappropriate and unprofessional. About 3 months ago both of my children were sick with fever, cough and runny nose. Carolyn Bogal NP thoroughly evaluated us doing testing for Covid, flu, strep and RSV. She checked each one carefully for ear infections. She found my 2 year old had an ear infection and promptly prescribed antibiotics along with fluids and rest. At the end of our visit, NP Bogal gave each child a "prize" of stickers and adorable tiny stuffed animals delighting them both. She was reassuring, supportive and knowledgeable about how stressful it is for a mom caring for 2 sick kids with fevers. She told me if I had any more concerns , I was welcomed to call her or return for a recheck. read more

Amazing!!! Made an online appointment for 315-even though it said no wait time I was just being cautious. Arrived at 245, filled out paperwork. Bella came very quickly, brought me into the office, took my vitals and was incredibly pleasant and fast! Dr. Aubrey came in and was wonderful! He diagnosed my issue, sent antibiotics to the pharmacy and I was in my car driving away by 320!! I cannot say enough good things about this office. I will definitely come back again! read more

The same lady a few months ago told me they don't do appointments, but then my wife called and made an appointment. I'll never go back there again. My wife and I have both been treated here. Our experience every time has been reasonable waits to be seen, pleasant and competent office staff, and professional medical staff. My wife had to have blood drawn, and she was particularly impressed at how well the ​process went. She has had to have professional phlebotomists draw her blood in the hospital but the lady at AFC was able to draw her blood painlessly and on the first time. There is a closer urgent care facility, but we have been quite satisfied with AFC Urgent Care Dedham. read more

No need to talk about my illness. I know about the nursing shortage and I am very happy to know that we have resources know to avoid sitting in an ER for 3- 4 hrs. To the point I met a wonderful Nurse Practioner named Catherine Bogal. My wait wasn't long and she didn't rush me. She was very thorough and explained what I was supposed to do and how to take the medications that she was ordering. When I left the facility I felt so secure that I had been taken care of and would hopefully be better soon. If you want excellent care please make sure Catherine is there if you can, I wouldn't want to see anyone else. read more

We specifically chose it because there was an X-ray machine (suspected broken finger) but either the X-ray was down, there was no tech on staff, or both. We then waited an HOUR to be seen by a doctor who didn't introduce herself or ask for our names, wore a cloth mask, and eventually wrote a prescription for an X-ray down the street. I visited this facility for a COVID-19 antibody test, and was appalled by the rude behavior of the front desk receptionist. When I explained my reason for the visit, she immediately stated with an attitude that ten people were ahead of me, even though the website indicated a wait time of zero minutes and also clearly stated than an appointment was not necessary. I was told that I could return several hours later, which obviously was an inconvenience to me. When I returned, the same rude girl brought me into a room to wait for at least 20 minutes. Just when I was about to give up, she came in and asked me for my credit card for the insurance copay (why didn't she do that first thing??). More waiting. Finally, a young girl comes in to draw the blood, who was clearly inexperienced. After she pricked my arm and told me that she was unable to obtain any blood, I started feeling queasy and thought of walking out (I am not good with blood tests). After reading the paperwork regarding the test, I was also concerned about its limitations. Unfortunately she could not answer my questions, so the doctor come in. The doctor was very nice and took the time to address my concerns about the possibility of receiving a false positive result due to a potential response from non-covid 19 virus strains that I might have immunity to. He said they had a phlebotomist who was more senior, so I agreed to have her draw my blood instead. She was great. One last note regarding my experience--when the rude front desk girl was asked whether the test was completely specific to covid-19 virus, she insisted that it was. Turns out she is wrong and is just one of those people who pretends to know things when they actually really don't. read more

The wait time was ridiculous and the white older lady at the front desk makes you feel the farthest from welcome, she's dry, doesn't even say hello just "What's up what can i do for you" with the most unemotionless face i've ever seen. The doctor and nurses were great and helped me out with my strep throat, which is why I gave them 3 stars, but the front desk and waiting time needs to be fixed. I even asked the last if she could run my insurance just to make sure and all she said was "No." as she looked at me with the most blank stare in history, no explanation no thing, I walked back to seat in confusion. The fact that I have a black bruise on the back of my hand thanks to a totally incompetent tech is hugely inflancing this review .... I went in for a COVID-19 antibody test, which made total sense given that I had (unknowingly) cared for two people with COVID 19 . The first tech was so totally incompetent it was mind blowing. Could not find a vein, tried to find one on my hand, tortured me, failed, gave up, found another tech. Who did it PERFECTLY -- first try. And marveled at the fact that tech #1 had so much trouble. So now I have a sore, black bruise on the top of my hand, and a bad opinion of an Urgent Care facility which is probably just fine . Outstanding care! I visited yesterday for upper respiratory/bronchitis issues. All of the staff I encountered were kind and caring. From Siobhan at the front desk, to the medical assistant and Dr Aubrey, the staff were professional and helpful. I was seen promptly with a short wait. Dr Aubrey was able to diagnose my condition and provide recommendations for treatment and I was on my way within 1 hour. Will definitely return if needed. Avoid if possible. I have been to this location twice. The person who did the intake most recently made zero eye contact with me during the intake. In fact she was inputting information from another patient while asking me the basics of why I was there. When I brought this to her attention she said at least I am not ignoring you. I sat down and another staff member yelled across the room what was the date of birth of the patient. So much for patient privacy. On the intake paper I wrote the skin on his right thumb was problematic. When the PA came in, she said how is his leg? When I showed concern that she was way off in terms of the nature why we were there she said she does not read the paper that people fill out and she said that I was being rude in my response to her. You may get the prescription you need here or medical care that you need on a weekend but everyone deserves better treatment than what you will get here. If it was just a little bad I would overlook it but it was so bad that it ruined the whole visit. read more

Not only did they get me in and out in 15 minutes (literally), they gave me the tetanus booster I needed no questions asked AND he gave me an antibiotic to prevent a potential infection so I wouldn't have to come back. Both nurses were amazing as well. The nurse who gave me the shot even asked me what arm I would like it in and cared about my tattoos and marking them with a potential bruise! from the injection site!! Exactly what I needed. My insurance covers urgent care for only $10/visit and I couldn't get an appointment with my primary care doctor. I had a bad flu/cold/who knows what for a week. Came to Doctors Express, waited for only about five minutes, then was seen. Everyone was friendly. Dr. Schoen was clear and explained everything. They were even able to take and read X-rays in a few minutes to make sure it wasn't something more serious. Walked out in under an hour with a needed prescription and some good advice. read more

I was cautious going into this facility because of all the nasty reviews I saw, some that were rather recent. I decided to go in and have my own experience about it after some symptoms came up. Receptionist was rather brash and not what I would call friendly, but she took care of my papers and let me know what I would be charged for the visit before charging my card (that should be standard, but I saw some people got blind sided. But this was just a consultation really, no labs or tests). Dr. Aubrey was very professional and took the time to answer all of my questions and didn't make me feel rushed at all. He helped me fill a prescription I was low on from another doc, and got me what I needed for an infection. Comfortable bedside manner in discussing women's health. Tried to sign up for a rapid Covid test online. It said wait time 12-27 mins for walk in, and they weren't taking appointments anymore. I called at least 6 times to verify they were doing rapid testing, but got sent to a full voice mailbox each time. I left work to drive there on my lunch break, and the receptionist told me that they only do the first 20 walk ins and after that I had to make an appointment (which I couldn't do, remember?).
