I looked online no wait times and put in for 11:10 appointment. - I waited til 12:30 to be seen - Someone who came in as a walk in was seen before me with an appointment! - I got in room and my concerns were a rushed questionnaire NOT a conversation Once seen everything came back negative. But did another test to be on safe side. I told them I'm deadly allergic to ibuprofen and what does the Nurse Practitioner recommend is that and gargle with salt water such a waste of 2.5 hrs of my day! I next day did a virtual visit with my actual doctor who confirmed hand foot and mouth NOT strep! Said the unguent care should've caught it right away!

This was critical information in deciding where to take a kid who just broke their hand. I called the number listed -- (781) 746-7193, I followed the menu to the 'office front desk', I get sent to the main office and get someone who has no idea what's happening in the Dedham location. I got 'transferred' to the Dedham location and again it's the same number I called. This time I go with the 0 option, the only other possible option that might connect to someone who could help at the Dedham location. Again, I'm sent to the main office where no one has a clue about the wait time in the Dedham, MA location. Best I could get was the office number to the Dedham location. Guess what that was -- (781) 746-7193. Exactly the number I called. Completely dysfunctional communication. After wasting considerable time in an urgent situation to get information from this Urgent Care center, I still got no help.

Justin, Whitney & Heather's top notch care NEVER waivered. On 2/4/2024, I sent an application for a handicap placard to be completed by Dr Gordon. She signed it on 2/20/2024 but I wasn't told. I looked on my online profile and found it. I called Carbon Health @ Framingham and was sent the form. Unfortunately the doctor's page was dated 9/2023, so my application was rejected. I am on a cane, so, walking distances are not an option. Because of this error, I had to start the placard process all over. I now have a new PCP, Maxine D, who completed the form, and got it back to me THE NEXT DAY. I hope the Carbon Health transition helps bring things back to the care I initially received.

I picked her primarily because I needed a gyno but was terrified of the whole process so I wanted someone who could also be my primary care doctor. She is so sweet and gentle, and is very understanding when I halfway hyperventilate at every exam. There have been a few times Ive called in to get test results (even though no call usually means its ok, I like to check anyways) and I have ALWAYS received a call back in a timely manner. As long as she is in practice, I will go out of my way to maintain her as my doctor. And if your looking for an attentive doctor I would highly recommend her.

But I still have to jump through hoops to read it because they only correspond through the app and my account is no longer active. In their response, they doubled down and still are requiring my payment of over $180. The reply explains how insurance and billing work and deductibles. I understand all of this. My complaint specifically is that they are charging over $700/hour for virtual health care that - in my case - didn't even address my issue. I fully understand that US health insurance is broken. But this specific issue with One Medical is that they have the audacity to charge as much as they do for a virtual visit. I am done wasting my time with the back and forth. I thought for a minute they might do the right thing and offer a discount on my payment - we all know their owner (Bezos) can surely afford it - but they didn't.
