When she said we've just had another company here the day before & they had no problem preparing an estimate for us & our ins company. His response? "To each their own", gave a little laugh, & left!!! I went out to catch him as he was leaving & asked him what was going on. He said, " That's Qual Lines fence you have to call them"! What?! Does that mean Ford can't sell me a new vehicle because I have a Chevy? That's ridiculous!

Not sure if the fence rose or the ground sank? I let them know about it and Mark was out in a week to look at it. His team banged the posts back down to their original height. They also went around the fence and found some broken boards which they replaced. He also fixed the doors which had also moved a bit. Update in 2022: There was a strong wind that blew furniture off of my neighbor's patio and also separated part of a panel of my fence. I had requested that some adjustments be made and they answered my call and said they would be out within a week! 7 years after the initial installation!! The results were not as I expected but that was half on me and they discounted my bill…read moreappropriately. I would not use them again but I feel like they took care of my concerns. It was a very sloppy job. I found paint on literally dozens of spots they dripped or rolled over things. They also failed to cover some horizontal surfaces, resulting in roller spray on them. The good: They came out quickly when I set up a pricing appointment. They got the quote to me right away and were good to work with through changes to the large-ish job (a dozen rooms / spaces.) They worked extremely quickly. The entire home had brand new carpeting and they got no paint on that. When I reviewed the project after painting and told them I was unhappy with certain aspects they came immediately the next morning to attempt to address it. The bad: They did no surface prep; other painters I've used have and I had assumed all professionals do it, but have since learned that's not the case. Google "how to paint" and the first two steps are to clean the walls and repair small imperfections: spackle / sand / etc. Lesson learned: I should have asked about this important step. The finished walls are not as even and uniform as I've seen from other painters. I found paint in SO very many places after they finished: on every kitchen appliance and power outlet, on towel bars, trim, shelves, mirrors, sinks, and ceilings. I believe they added water to stretch the paint at the end of the job rather than purchase more. They also left runny blobs in several places and a big mess on the kitchen floor from the gunk behind the fridge and range (and they no doubt tracked much of this gunk around my new carpeting.) I hired someone to clean some of the mistakes and I'll either need to do some spackling and touch-up or leave things looking less perfect. But I feel like the discount they gave me afterward made up for it. This would have been a 2-star review if they stuck with their price.
