He recently lied on me stating i did not cooperate , however i was very helpful in providing info for my case. I asked him if that was the case , why not remove yourself from my case instead of me having to reach out over and over in regards to my case. He had every opportunity to discuss how the case was going , and discuss any issues with me , instead he ignored me , and i requested help from the Vso.

I attended Maifest; an event held there this past weekend. The empty lot next to the venue is used…read morefor overflow parking, and was a bit of a challenge maneuvering due to issues (pothole and other physical hazards) encountered at the entrance. While visiting the social club I admired the architectural elements that depict a traditional chalet style (architectural elements and decor). The event was delightful. Food, folks, and live music. At the entrance of the building guests were given an opportunity to purchase merchandise or buy tickets that would be exchanged for food and beverages. Rows of tables and chairs were prepared for guests in the main area. There is a bar, dance floor, stage, public restrooms, and kitchen. The musician wore authentic lederhosen, sang, and played an electric accordian. A lady stopped by our table to greet us, and she explained some of the history of the location. She mentioned that the building is over 50 years old and has been the German American social club for over 30 years. The event was delightful.

The people were very friendly. We came in a party of 6. I called for reservations like the website…read moreasked. When the food service came we were skipped until the last. We were told that one of the sauces (naturally 5 of the 6) we ordered. Food service started at 6 and we received ours after 7 so don't go hungry! Probably will not be back.

You grab a ticket when you walk in and wait 10-15 mins just to check in! They have 8 check in…read morewindows but they typically only have 2-3 windows open. The staff call patients back by yelling, "Veteran XYZ" as if we aren't all veterans. That's one isn't a huge deal but you can tell that they haven't thought this through. The LPN exam rooms used to do vitals and such are messy, sometimes dirty, and often contain food and drink. However, there are numerous signs stating no food or drink. The providers rarely examine you or even touch you yet they chart that they did a full exam. Given the number of veterans that have died at the Las Vegas VA clinics, this makes me suspicious.

This organization assists veterans with mental illness and health care, housing, and employment opportunities available in the Vegas area. If you are able to donate and support in anyway you can. Imagine being in the theater of war. Can you envision the scene? Your company is moving along side a building trying to stay from harms way, then out of nowhere a bomb explodes. You need to enter the frame of mind that it takes to be a solider. You are a marked red target with a painted bullseye on you. Everyone around you is trying to annihilate your existence. This might sound weird, but it's what these individuals have to go through to keep us all safe. When they come back to their lives and families sometimes they realize somehow or someway they are broken and cannot cope. Are they crazy? Absolutely insane for the feeling they are experiencing of hardship. It's organizations as this veterans office that find jobs and provide services and support to help these individuals lead fulfilling lives. After they individuals leave the battlefield many of these traumatic events and memories live on throughout their lives. Our armed service members play a vital role in maintaining the freedoms that we enjoy. Their sacrifices should never ever go unnoticed.
