When approaching Good Timez, you're probably expecting a typical mom 'n pop dive bar, smoke filled, with a dart board, a couple pool tables and maybe a broken pinball machine or two. That's the way it certainly appears, at least from the exterior. However everything dramatically changes once you enter. Well, being real, it' still is a dive bar. Cheap drinks, plenty of ash trays, and a very friendly local staff. HOWEVER, this ain't you're Dads dive bar. The owner has a collection of boutique quality pinball machines that are reasonably priced and play exceptionally. He even runs regular pinball tournaments that are open to everyone (21+). Now let's discuss the "Billiard" part of the business. In what appears to be a separate building almost, there is the pool area. This definitely isn't a low brow dive bar couple of tables. This is truly serious business. The tables are all professional grade. The house cues are all perfectly straight and could even be used in competitive play. The felts are all meticulously maintained, and the icing on the cake, it's literally dirt cheap to play. As my kids and I rented a table we meandered through the pool area and noticed that we certainly weren't in Kansas any more. Most of all the billiard regulars all resembled characters from The Colour of Money. Watching some of their shots and the way they called their shots and respected the venue, it's obvious that this is where the pros and the hustlers come to play. But having said that, it's also where three idiots like me and my two kids go to screw around and sink the 8 ball 4x per game and scratch an innumerable number of times. Sure it's a little intimidating but it's also educational and certainly entertaining. Since our first visit we've been back 3 times and I even went a couple times by myself to work on my billiard game. This truly a great place to play, socialize, and appreciate on many levels.

On a very hot day, it was nice and cool, dark, and we had no reservation, but was able to sit down at the bar quickly. The decor matched exactly what we expected. It was a tiki bar. We happen to make it in between 4 and 7 PM for happy hour. Drinks were creative and delicious. Customer service was top-notch from the gentleman who checked our IDs at the door, to the hostesses as you came, to the bartenders! We tried the dole whipped drink and some of the tasty snacks. I don't remember the name of the chicken fingers sticky something or another, but they were delicious and the fries were great as well. They had jalapeños and curly fries. Everything was well seasoned and tasted wonderful. I for sure will return to this place anytime in Vegas to enjoy a little laughter, live music, and delicious treats

The atmosphere inside is simply top notch, its themed head to toe and for me personally, I always love a place that's well themed. We went in without a reservation and they managed to squeeze us into a table, we were served by a very friendly waitress who had good recommendations and was overall very attentive. The drinks were all good, and thankfully they have non-alcoholic versions for many of their drinks. No complaints on any of them, they were exactly what we were looking for. I will say the prices are a little steep, but this isn't someplace you are likely to come to on a regular basis, so I can excuse it. (And if you do like the vibe and come often, you can always get non tiki drinks cheaper.) Overall very very fun, wish we had come a little later because their was a band that was setting up and got maybe three songs in before we left, but they sounded pretty good!

Found this spot through yelp and immediately had to go. Off the beaten path and in a corner hotel. I parked in back and went in. Clean space, plenty of seating. They had a live band. The only downside is that it did take awhile. I would definitely come back.

They have a pizza place inside. When you enter, go to the right and there's a window to order. They give you a buzzer and you'll know when your pizza is ready. I would say that the pizza is good, not great, but good. I got a pepperoni pizza. Ordering drinks - you go straight to the bar. The bartenders are all SUPER friendly! MGM Grand Incident at Level Up…read more On Sunday, May 24, we came to Level Up at MGM Grand for Karaoke to celebrate our daughter's 21st birthday and Memorial Day. We were enjoying ourselves up until the following incident with the bartender Ray. I've dealt with busy bars, stressed staff, and occasional misunderstandings before, but this was on another level entirely. The bartenders communication skills were lacking from the start. We seem to be bothering him when trying to place orders. Not once were we greeted, welcomed or even asked if there was anything that we would like to order we had to call on him from across the bar for any type of service. What should've been a normal interaction turned hostile when the bartender demanded my husband owed him $6 for my Coke. My husband explained that he was gambling at the bar for the last half hour, but the bartender insisted he owed him $6 because I was not sitting there when he came with the drink, that he would not comp the beverage. Then came the request for him to place it on a tab so that we could move to a table closer to the stage. He outright refused to listen with dismissive responses, and instead of letting anyone finish speaking, he talked over my husband and daughter and escalated the situation. Rather than being professional, he became aggressive and confrontational immediately. The most frustrating part was being falsely accused of using profanity when no such act occurred. When my daughter told him he was being rude he shouted at her that she was rude and that's when the false claim was made that her boyfriend swore at him when he looked up at the man shouting at his girlfriend and had not said one word. Instead of resolving anything, the Bartender Ray took the incident personally and took it to the next level by calling Security to have us escorted out of Level Up, claiming we were irate, aggressive and he felt threatened by our presence, refusing us service. Despite this we remained composed yet justly upset and being publicly treated like we had done something wrong over a completely fabricated accusation was embarrassing and unnecessary. The security guard apologized and said he didn't understand why the bartender was so angry and that we did not need to leave the premise but needed to leave the venue. I understand customer service can be difficult, especially in a busy environment, but basic professionalism, listening skills and respectful communication should still be expected, especially in a tourism driven industry. Unless management seriously addresses how staff interacts with their customers I won't recommend this place and will never return. My husband is a retired veteran and I have over 30 years experience, in executive sales & customer service. I currently work in the hospitality industry for the largest 4 star resort in North America here in Las Vegas. I completely understand working with unreasonable customers, and we were not that in this instance. Far from it. We are very supportive and treat all service workers with respect. We are good paying customers that also gamble and all we expected was basic common courtesy. Retaliation toward paying customers is unacceptable and any employee in any situation that abuses power because they're having a bad day should be held accountable for their actions.
