On Monday, I went to the office and spoke with Mike, who assured me that my banner would be completed on time. He later emailed me a quote for $213, which gave me confidence that everything was on schedule. On Thursday, I called again to follow up, and Mike once again confirmed that the banner would be ready. However, on Friday, I was informed that the job would not be completed in time for my event. What is most frustrating is that no one contacted me to explain the delay. From that day until now, I have received no phone call, no update, and no follow-up. If the job could not be completed, I should have been informed earlier so I could make other arrangements. Unfortunately, this experience showed a lack of communication, reliability, and professionalism.
