Avoid this salon at all costs. I gave them three chances, and each time was a disappointment--something I've never experienced anywhere else. I brought in a photo of exactly what I wanted and even called ahead to confirm. The first stylist completely ignored my request. I told her during the appointment that it wasn't what we discussed, but nothing changed. I woke up the next morning--two days before my wedding--still hating my hair. I called the manager right at 9 AM to ask if someone could fix it before the big day. The stylist had promised a dark color, but it came out completely wrong. I wasn't able to get in until the following Monday, after my wedding. The manager did a much better job, but it still wasn't what I originally asked for. I then spoke with the owner, and that's when things truly went downhill. She was incredibly rude and dismissive, telling me I was just "an unhappy customer who can never be satisfied." I had visible dye stains on my forehead and cheek, and my hair looked nothing like the photo I provided. I even had a bald spot, which I documented in photos. After seeing the pictures, the owner agreed to issue a refund. But when I asked when I could come in to receive it, she said she'd "make an appointment." I followed up for two days asking what time worked for her, and she replied that she's only in the salon one day a month and I needed to be patient. Her tone in the messages was just as rude as she was on the phone. Bottom line: the owner is the rudest I've ever dealt with, and the stylists need serious improvement. Took my two daughters to get a haircut before heading back to school after the holiday break. The owner recommended Emma and got the girls scheduled with only a few days notice! Emma was so warm and friendly, she took great care of the girls. Emma made sure the girls were comfortable with different kids of booster seats at the washing station and her cutting station. She let them pick from mermaid and unicorn capes, was really thorough with the haircuts and then offered the girls styling options including curling their hair or braiding it! I have recently moved to willis and I was looking for a new hairstylist. When I found this place on google the first thing i did was read the reviews. At first I was a bit skeptical because some were pretty negative but I gave it a shot and I am BEYOND IMPRESSED. The inside was beautifully decorated and the staff were very sweet. I had Emma as a hairstylist, and she was super friendly and did exactly what I asked for and more. I have never been happier with a haircut I've gotten and I WILL be back. I went in with complete virgin hair. I was wanting something to help blend in my natural grays and showed an inspiration picture that I thought would work to the stylist. She said she can definitely get close to what the pic showed without using the bayalge technique, and I put complete trust in her. My end result was NOTHING close to the picture I had showed her. The highlights she had given me were not to the roots, there was absolutely no blending and looked like she had stuck foil down and brushed straight lines sideways and not to mention, they were CHUNKY and uneven which made it worse. I had messaged her immediately when I got home and realized how wrong it looked and she said I could come in if noright then. NoWhen I arrived, I'm assuming the manager said she saw absolutely nothing wrong with it and that I was just "not use to having highlights". I'm sorry, but use to it or not, I KNEW it was not done correctly. She offered to do some root shadowing and some other things but with how my hair was done, I had no trust. I opted for an all over color to blend on the orange yellow highlights and was told they would 100% blend in with the allover color they did. (Was supposed to be dark brown but was definitely black). They decided to use toner insead of actual color and once they finished rinsing and dried me in a rush, they asked if I was okay with it (which in their lighting, looked to be a match to the color). Once I got home and carefully checked, unfortunately, once again, it was not correct. They ended up looking like dark mocha streaks and didn't match at all. I decided to email the owner, or person in charge, (whatever email was on the site) and politely asked if I could get a refund of my services as they were not to any satisfactory standards. I was then offered again to come in to give them a second chance (which I had already,this would my third) with a seasoned stylist who could properly do it. (I was told my stylist had been doing hair more than 10 years by her, herself, I'd consider that seasoned). I was also told that she was told that I came in "not liking what I wanted" when that was far from the case since what I got was nowhere near what I wanted TWICE. I kindly declined to come in and once again asked for a full refund. I was told I could get a partial refund and I'd still have to pay for my cut which was fine. Two days later I emailed on an update for the refund and was told that she had processed a full refund and that a partial refund was not doable and if I would "like to be honest about it and come in and pay for the cut". Let me add during this time...I went to TWO different salons for a quote on how to fix my hair and was told they should have been ashamed to let me walk out they way they let me and to order to do even more damage on top of what they had already . My hair is now SEVERELY damaged, dry, brittle and my scalp is constantly peeling in nickel size chunks and I can't do anything for 6 weeks minimum and that's questionable if it'll be ready to be fixed by then. So safe to say, with how much I will have to spend to fix THEIR double mistake over multiple sessions and months, and to walk around with what I'm left with, I will NOT be paying them anything especially since they couldn't be honest with me about their skills. The nerve they had to tell me to be honest and come pay when they weren't honest with their experience and skills, blows my mind. My FIRST hair experience in 8 years after having complete virgin hair went to hell within 3 hours and will now take months to a year to repair. I would never recommend this salon to my worst enemy. Marlo is not good, I had an appointment at 1:00pm and ran a lil late and let them know I was running behind and she left 3 minutes after the scheduled time. Came in to get a simple hair cut which was a trim of some of the dead pieces and some long layers. EXTREMELY disappointed with my stylist and his over zealous attitude about what a great haircut I was going to have. The lady who took my name down said she'd be done shortly, however the manager yelled at someone in the back "there's a haircut waiting" and the man did my cut. Honestly, my grandma could have done better. He cut it so short I cannot put it up anymore and the layers are so choppy. I have maternity pictures soon so I will have to find a solution to fix this mess. So embarrassed and left immediately. I should not have paid for the haircut and I'm not happy about the service I received, which he over hyped himself and what a great stylist he was. Will not be coming back. No one in this establishment greeted me with a smile at all....in fact, the women all looked kind of annoyed and stuck up. The man who cut my hair was nice but he didn't really listen to me (I asked for the top of my hair to be left long as I have a pixie and I like the bangs long)...he kept telling me what a great hair cut he was giving me, but, well, I've had better.
