This is a busy garage that I am very used to (just drive to the 6th or 7th floor and you're almost always guaranteed to have a spot without struggle). Take the elevator to the 2nd floor, use the crosswalk in the garage that connects Kirklin and Whitaker Clinic, pre pay for your ticket once leaving at a kiosk or pay the attendant (prepay is typically faster to get out). I'm so thankful this clinic (for my floor) has a 30 minute grace period because a 30 minute commute took an hour and 15 minutes the day of my appointment. It pays to normally plan to arrive to my appointments 30 minutes early so I had 15 minutes of a grace period left. Staff is efficient, they got me in and out much faster than my initial appointment, all questions were answered, we agreed on how to move forward and I was sent on my way. Very satisfied with my choice to use this facility.

Included with every visit is a cute little photo of your pet (although Tootie usually looks terrified ). I keep mine in my car and it makes me so happy to see my baby every time I drive. The staff is also very responsive to emails/texts/phone calls. They are quick to send your primary vet any updates on your pet from their most recent cardiology appointment, and also willing to weigh in or collaborate with your primary vet if your problem isn't heart related (for example Tootie had pancreatitis recently and I wanted to verify that all the new meds being prescribed were okay for him to take with his current heart meds). I cannot sing enough praises for this business! They have made such a positive impact on our lives. Honestly, I'm an ER Nurse and I wish all medical practices coordinated/collaborated care the way Dr. Straeter does for her patients!

They called me finally and told them what is going on with me and I have Cervical Spinal Stenosis & would like another Opinion as well as have my spine worked up ! That was mailed on April 2nd , 2019 to her as instructed. I gave her my first MRI and last MRI Scans plus a photograph of my necks horrendous Muscle Spasms as well ! I have not heard back from them yet as of April 10th, 2019 . I realize that she is a very busy Neurosurgeon... and hopefully will actually examine me ? I am referring to Dr. Mélissa R. Chambers who not only is a Neurosurgeon, but has a DVM degree. She has excellent credentials and excellent bed side manners as was told by Nurses at UAB when my mother was their. But not assisting me yet ! Hopefully my new Internist ; Dr. Sarah A. Kunin and her excellent staff in Oxmoor road office will do more if do not hear from them. I have had enough of waiting forever and it's been over a year and a half dealing with my Cervical Spinal Stenosis and Pain! Do I need to go to Congress to get something done - no, they are a bunch of children in Washington and play back and forth! ! Now I am sick to death of politics.
