I'm so glad! Everyone in the office is very kind, patient, and professional. I dropped off my images ahead of time as requested. I later met with Dr. Eads, who went over the results with me. He was very matter of fact about everything, and honest in his evaluation. While he was telling us his opinion of the MRI results, he also did a couple of in office tests. He had me get some follow up treatment, which has worked wonders! If my back requires more work, i feel like I'm in completely capable hands. Now that I know what chronic pain feels like, I never want to go near it again! If you get referred here, you're in for some great care.

My experience is not to waste your time with Dr. DePowell. I came hoping for a meaningful…read moreassessment and was instead shut down almost immediately, with verifiable clinical and factual inaccuracies. I forced him to cite his reference to support his conclusions. I asked that the citation be included in the clinical notes. He did not include it. After going back and requesting it, his office staff spoke to him and they provided a citation that undermines his own conclusions and documented findings. Don't expect an honest assessment. I have already placed a call to file a formal complaint. So far I have not received a response. Whether Goodman Campbell, writ large, is 1-star, I can't say. My experience with Dr. DePowell was sub 1-Star.

He is one of the leading neurosurgeons in the world when it comes to baclofen pumps so I knew I was in good hands. I had tons of questions and concerns before committing to the surgery. Dr. Lee sat down with me and thoroughly answered all my questions. Since having my surgery, I can honestly say it was the best decision for me. The nurse who maintains my pump is fabulous! She makes me feel comfortable and at ease. I love that they empower me to make decisions about what I need as far as my meds. I highly recommend Goodman Campbell if you need a baclofen pump.

At that time I was under the care of a Neurologist in Michigan. I do believe I should have seen her partner as he seemed to be more competent from what I've learned. Dr. Bales was very rude and seemed more interested in how I liked her hair and her outfit. She has never done a complete EMG on me and in Michigan I had one every year to measure my nerve damage. This was NOT on Dr. Smartt... I read on line that a young…read morelady was very pleased with Dr. Smartt. I would love to have had him as my neurologist. However, I was unable to get past the rude receptionist. I had called to see if Dr. Smartt was accepting new patients. The person on the phone indicated that he was taking new patients. She said I needed a referral. I explained that I was currently see a Neurologist however I wanted to see Dr. Smartt instead. She said I needed to have my records sent to the office. I went on line and filled out the documentation, when to the office to take the application along with my insurance card and identification. She stayed on phone after I walked in. Another person came in behind me. She got off the phone, spoke with him for a few moments and then he went to sit in the waiting room. Meanwhile, I am waiting to see if she will address me since I had been waiting for her to get off the phone and to speak with me. Finally, I walked up to her desk and explained I was the person who had called to see if Dr. Smartt was accepting new patients. I told her I had filled out the documentation on line and that I had filled out the request to have my records submitted to Dr. Smartt. She took the paperwork and said she would call after she received the records. A week has past, I had not heard anything from Dr. Smartt's office so I called to see if the person at the front desk had received the documentation, she said she had not received the documentation. I contacted the other office, they indicated they had sent all documentation to Dr. Smartt's office and that they had document to show date and time. I ask if they could resend the documentation. They had no problem resending the documentation. After they sent the documentation they called me back to let me know they had resent all documentation. After two weeks of not hearing anything from Dr. Smartt's office, I called his office to ask if they had received my records from the other office. The person who answered the call asked me for my information of which I gave her. She then placed me on hold for 23 minutes and never returned. I called back, and the answering machine immediately sent me to voice mail. I called back again, this time it gave me a message saying that they could not see me until they had receive all records. The documentation as sent twice as of today (a month later) no follow-up phone call. I also hope that the person who did not follow up has shredded all my PHI as well as the copy of my insurance card and my ID. Needless to say, I never got to meet Dr. Smartt. I will never know if Dr. Smartt was a good as the young lady had indicated. Hopefully, if you want to see Dr. Smartt you will find a way to see him, as I was unable. Good Luck

I'm not sure if they have updated it. If you are OK with that, then you can step up for some first rate care. I have been seeing Dr. Beck for many years now. I have a spinal implant to help with pain, and he has done several injections. He made the same comment to me during a shot that he made to someone else. When I commented on how much it hurt, he said he got the right spot. I felt the pain in my leg almost completely vanish while he was doing the second shot. Did it hurt? Yes. Am I a little sore after? Yes. Was it the right shot? YES! I miss the face time I used to get, but Dr Beck is trustworthy and skilled. You may not see a lot of him as there are now other folks who will handle some of the up front diagnoses and let you know what your options are. I know at least one other person who has gone here and was very happy. This is easily 5 star care.

When you call you can barely understand the woman on the phone. The dr. Has a terrible bedside…read moremanner and is quite rude. Doesn't want to hear a patient out. I have had a previous spinal fusion and apparently it has failed and I have nerves that are being compressed. Laying sitting and standing is horrible now. They are quick at getting you in. Not sure why he did not listen about how far down my spine the pain is! They had me on 46 medications when I filled out the form and I'm on 10 now.

Dr. Snook earned his medical degree from Indiana University School of Medicine and returned there for his residency. He has hospital privileges at all of the IU Hospitals in Indy, including Tipton. If you are looking for a Neurologist who is personable and a caring physician that doesn't rush through an appointment give his office a call.
