The first thing they asked me for was my e mail address. Why? They never sent me any e mails. They need this to break into your computer. If you ask them for there e mail address you will just get the sounds of silence. They followed me around for years before I learned how to stop them. You need a VPN (virtual private network) on your cell phone. I would strongly advise anyone to think twice before you make a BIG mistake going to "college". These people are detrimental to society. P.S. My Workforce development counselor was fired. The shut down the Clifton NJ office. Ouch! People that work for the government are psycho neurotic.

As a first-generation, Black, gender non-conforming student at William Paterson University, my…read moreexperience has been nothing short of transformational. WPU not only supported my academic journey--allowing me to graduate with a 3.6 GPA and honors--but also helped me grow as a leader, an advocate, and a whole person. Serving as the Student Government Association's Vice President of Judicial Review and as the student representative on the HESSA Advisory Board gave me meaningful opportunities to shape campus policies and uplift student voices. These roles taught me responsibility, collaboration, and the importance of creating spaces where all students feel seen and heard. I'm especially proud and humbled to have received the Social Justice Award. It reflects the university's commitment to equity and the ways it empowers students to lead with purpose. Throughout my time here, I found professors, staff, and peers who genuinely cared about my success and well-being. The community at WPU uplifted me in moments when I doubted myself and celebrated me in moments of triumph. William Paterson University is a place where first-generation students can thrive, where diverse identities are embraced, and where leadership opportunities open doors to real impact. I'm grateful for the experiences, connections, and confidence I've gained--and I'll carry them with me long after graduation.

Total lack of transparency! During my tour, my husband and I specifically asked about…read moreaccreditation. They said "yes" but intentionally omitted that they are NOT CODA-accredited (and haven't been for 5 years). We were led to believe I'd be a CDA upon graduation. Instead, I found out mid-program that I have to work 3,200 hours first--a possible 2-year delay (unless you're doctor feels you're really talented and signs off early)that was never mentioned upfront. The school suggests working during the program to get those hours, but as a day student, most employers won't hire you due to the schedule. It's an impossible cycle. When I reached out for help, the Dean simply piggybacked off my conversation with the head of the department instead of offering a real solution, and the President has yet to respond at all. They try to sweep it under the rug by claiming New Jersey employers "only care about Radiology licenses," which ignores my long-term career growth. Beyond the accreditation, the education is suffering: * Overcrowded Classes: Classes are being merged, leaving teachers overwhelmed. * Lack of Hands-on Training: Labs are rushed and rare. You're expected to learn something once and then not touch it again until your internship. It's all lectures and quizzes. * The "Referral" Insult: They have the audacity to ask for referrals in exchange for two slices of pizza every few weeks while ignoring serious grievances from students paying full tuition. For the price they charge, Fortis needs to do much better. Do your research and ask for specific accreditation names before signing anything here. After the President commented on my review, I reached out as of yet I still have not received a phone call.

I joined the MBC program at Fortis Institute-Wayne with real excitement, but the experience became…read moredisappointing. I worked hard and kept strong grades, yet the teaching was inconsistent and my externship did not provide the hands‑on training the program promised. When I asked about my grades, GPA, or how awards were decided, the answers were unclear or ignored. The director even said it wasn't her job to send reminders about missing work, even though posting grades and marking assignments as missing or late is how students know what they need to complete. The school also claims to help students find jobs, but they send one email and then they stop. What made it worse is that even the campus president never stepped in, despite me calling and emailing him many times. For the amount of money students pay, the lack of professionalism, support, and transparency is unacceptable. Worst experience ever, school did not provide the value or honesty students deserve.

I've been a student at DeVry University for about a year and four months now and can honestly say…read morethat when it comes to technical degree programs, DeVry is among the best. The way the program is structured works incredibly well for me. I find that two courses per session (8 weeks) works better than four classes per semester (15 to 16 weeks). This type of schedule allows you to focus and actually retain what you are being taught as opposed to the traditional four course model where you are cramming and regurgitating information for all four classes simultaneously, retaining very little. Another huge bonus is the online aspect. If you wish to do so, you can take the vast majority of your courses online and learn in the comfort of your own home. If you are on the go or on a vacation and need to check in to do a discussion post, DeVry has a fantastic phone application that allows you to access your courses from anywhere your smartphone or tablet has data access. There are countless benefits to a school like DeVry and all I can say is that it is well worth giving it a shot if you work a full-time job or just want to transition back into school at a comfortable pace. DeVry truly encourages a wholesome, open learning environment and is willing to work with their students to ensure they get the education they deserve.
