This is non-smoking facility. There is a smoking area outside on a newly constructed patio. Every Tuesday, my family and I love to go there for homemade tacos or open face enchiladas that are made fresh. The tacos/enchiladas are served from 5pm to 7pm. On Friday's, a variety of dishes are rotated each week and are served fresh and hot. The prices are fairly cheap and the food is DELICIOUS! During the 1st Saturday of the month from 5pm to 7pm various dishes are made. The dish for today happens to be pulled pork that has been cooked with a dry rub and then served with homemade BBQ sauce, chips, coleslaw and pear crisp. Friday nights from 6pm to 9pm is Texas Hold'em. This post is public friendly. Each individual that walks through the door is greeted with a smile. Don't listen to the bad reviews!!…read more The best things that ever happened to me was getting my application rejected because that forced me to start volunteering with them. I am now a member of the board, have adopted 2 dogs through them, raise money for them, and will do anything for this rescue. It's crazy to me that some people would give a 1 star review because their application got denied! We receive tons of applications and sometimes you just aren't the right fit. It happened to me and i didn't cry about it and try to ruin the reputation of the rescue. Shelly has done more for the breed that anyone else in the state of Arizona and maybe even in the entire United States. She has devoted her life to helping these dogs and you attack her and the rescue because you got denied. I have been going to our weekly pack walks for the past 5 years and have never seen any of the people who leave bad reviews show up once. You should be ashamed of yourself for giving these bad reviews. Grow up. This is an amazing rescue built on the backs of volunteers and amazing people like Shelly and her husband Dustin. I had 5 referrals from a Nurse Practitioner at Codac that were no good as the companies she…read morereferred me to were not in my insurance plan. She quit leaving me with no PCP. I called 8 weeks ago to get new referrals and was told I had to schedule an appointment to update the referrals with the new PCP that was assigned to me and I could come in four weeks later when I have had chronic pain for 2 years. I informed them I would not do so and that they had record of the problem and chose to do nothing and I was going to locate a different PCP. After 8 weeks I received a phone call that the referrals were updated and they were with the same providers that do not accept Blue Cross Blue Shield. The referrals are as useless as the people that work at Codac. I have complained to the Solution Zone FIVE Times, and they never called me back. The BEST Solution For Everyone Is To Avoid Codac At All Costs, Or It May Cost You Your Life.
