Everything! It's a cross between good restaurant cooking and good home cooking. We didn't realize there was a non-smoking dining room, or we would have joined much before. I attended the Hershey October Car Show on Friday Oct. 6th. Had a great time at car show. Would highly recommend going to the car show. As far as going to this American Legion in Linglestown, I would highly recommend not going. This was my experience. Arrived around 3 pm, waited at the service bar for at least 10 minutes without an acknowledgement that the bartender-we had eye contact- would be over. Finally after showing my American Legion card and my friend's driver's license we were served. Bartender was not a pleasant person. We did not feel welcome at all. I have been to this American Legion before as I visit my family in the area. Every visit has been a bad experience. Take my advice and go to the American Legion in Hummelstown or Hershey. There are some nice people there. read more

I used to come here with my grandparents as a kid and more recently came here for a Mother's Day Buffet. It was pretty good and at $20 a person, not bad for really yummy home-cooked (well it felt home cooked) food including prime rib with some awesome horseradish. I also liked the almond chicken with cherries and their desserts were pretty yummy. The cheesecake was NY style and VERY good. They had member and non member rates and I am not a member, though we came with a member. So I assume that when they have dinners or what not anyone can come? If not, I think I'd find a way to be a member because the price and quality of the food are worth a couple (or more!) trips here a month... read more

I have been to the Sunday Brunch twice so far. Its a great price for a great breakfast. The buffet consists of sausage gravy, cream chipped beef, biscuits, scrambled eggs, potatoes, bacon and sausage. Better yet they offer made to order eggs and waffles. A third station has some fruit and danishes, but I've usually had my fill til then. Juice and coffee are included and other beverages such as milk or tea may be requested. The cost of the buffet is only $9.99 and Legion members save a dollar for themselves and each of their guests. I highly recommend you try it out if you haven't already! I really don't enjoy writing this type of review, but I hope people in charge see it and clean up their act. We went to the Legion for dinner this evening after having an extremely enjoyable Sunday brunch there a few weeks ago. The brunch was very good. Good choices. Clean. Attentive waitress. Would give 5 stars for the brunch! But our experience having dinner on a Wednesday evening was pretty poor. When we arrived we sat ourselves at a table and waited, and waited for a waitress. We could look into the prep room and saw one waitress who ignored us and continued to eat whatever she was eating. Someone finally came out to take care of us. While waiting I noticed the the table cloth was long overdue for a cleaning - food spots on it. We both had the special, their "belly buster" fried haddock. The food was really pretty good. Only complaint was that it appeared that the oil the fish was cooked in was in need of being changed. Fries and slaw were good. After our meal arrived, I noticed a dead cockroach lying against the wall close to us. Total gross out! Much more attention is needed to cleaning. I would like to return for dinner at the Legion, but after this experience and very reluctant to return. I recommend to Sunday brunch, but their weekday dinners not so much. read more

An AMAZING place to go to get inexpensive, yet delicious food! The chefs and staff do an amazing job! Definitely recommend!

American Legion Post 272 located off I-81 exit 72 north. Service oriented club with restaurant open to the public. Menu is varied from salads thru hamburgers, steaks and homemade soups. Sunday buffet is the best this side of Penn National Casino. Homemade Pot-pie on Monday nights is an excellent tribute to the many PA Dutch women who've "rolled their own" over the centuries.
