The store itself is easy to find, but the location of the donation center is not obvious because…read morethe parking lot looks like it dead ends there. After looping around to the back I found the bins and the dock right away. I had a variety of items to donate, and the gentleman who received it from me was very friendly and professional. I'll happily bring my donations here in the future.

Found several pairs of girls sz 12 to 14 in the ladies large. But overall the organization is ok. Isles weren't jammed and blocked like other locations. Prices are a bit general. Shirts one price, pants another and so forth. Higher priced than other thrift stores that take brand and condition into consideration. Shoe prices were all over the place and extremely high for used. $19.95 for visably worn shoes is unheard of. Strengths for this store: seasonal. Its the first day of fall and there were tons of Halloween related costumes and merchandise all reasonably priced. Strength: vintage. Had a small but impressive selection of authentic clothes from the 60's, 70's, snd 80's. Weakness: shoes, expensive and many were less than pristine condition. Weakness: Toys: cluttered and many didn't look complete. Worth mentioning: loved the halloween music they played. Heard two different versions of " This is Halloween" from the Nightmare before Christmas movie and songs from Twilight. Very appropriate given the season.

Jim came out on short notice when we thought we had squirrels or a chipmunk in our attic. He spent an hour with me looking over the house for possible ingress points, then pointed out the numerous MOUSE not larger rodent trails in our attic insulation. He speculated it was 100% mice, but put 5 baited cages in the attic just in case. Jim was extremely courteous, knowledgeable, and gave me tons of information about mice versus larger rodents. Jim does not charge a fee for coming to your house unlike S&S and other services. He charges $40 per animal he traps. If he doesn't trap anything, he comes back to get the traps. There is no charge to you. He was 100% right - no animals trapped in our attic. He came back to get his traps two days later - no charge for his expertise or two visits to our home in Hummelstown. We gave him $100 - good grief that would have been half of what other companies charge to come out. I highly recommend Jim's Wildlife Removal! PS to the person who wrote a negative review about losing a house cat when Jim was called to a neighbor's house for skunk or feral cat removal. I am so sorry for your cat loss, but do not believe Jim was involved - and he even felt so bad he offered to pay you for a new cat. Also cats need collars - that way no mistakes could be made in the first place. I hope you found your cat.

The store is clean and organized, staff is friendly, and I have been very happy with the price and quality of my purchases. I brought my teenage daughter back to school shopping and she left with 2 very full larger shopping bags for about $65! I just went there tonight to shop for my toddler and every shirt I got was $2.99-$3.99. I will continue to shop there for my kids and home.

He yelled 20 ft across the floor and tried to embarrass me in front of all the other customers. He tried to say that a sign was clearly posted that there was no food and drink allowed in the store. I apologized because I had not seen the sign and he ignored me and kept complaining about me having broken the rules. I walked out of the store and found the trash can behind carts and other things with a small sign on the top of the trash can that said "no food or drinks". It was not easily seen as I would not have brought my cup in having known this. I went back in to continue my shopping and apologized once again to the man and he completely ignored me. It was so rude that I decided to stop my shopping completely and put back my 7 items I had in my cart. This employee was so rude that I will never be coming back to this store.

The service I used was to order a monument for my fathers gravesite. Working with the director was pleasant, but didn't seem that my business was really wanted since I was not local (our interactions were conducted via email and phone). I placed and order for the monument, above my requested budget, and was not provided any follow-up details for processing, timelines, etc... When I received the invoice in the mail, there were no line items broken out for the monument, services, or fees, just all bundled together into a single line item. After several e-mails (no responses), and follow-up calls, I was able to get a timeline for the placement of the monument (about 5 months). Now, the date provided for placement has come and gone and I have not heard from the director or home. I drove out to the gravesite and the cemetery has a placement ready for the monument but no monument is there. I am now forced to follow-up again to determine where the monument is and how much longer it will be. My only advice for the funeral home: follow-up and customer service goes a long way.

Despite the hardship that normally comes with this part of life, I have nothing but positive things to say about Finkenbinder / Rothermel. Dave my assigned funeral director handled anything and everything then I had to deal with during this time period. He boiled everything down and made it straightforward so that I could quickly make choices and pretty much guided me through the whole process. He definitely went above and beyond while helping me work through some issues with a county coroner's office. I've had to deal with many vendors and various services during this time, but I can honestly say that the funeral services for my father were one of the easiest parts of the entire ordeal. I cannot say enough I cannot say "thank you" enough as they were always right on point and handling things before I even thought of them. I highly recommend their services.
