I wasn't sure how long we were going to stay as it was a little uncomfortable in here. We ordered drinks from Jeremy @ the bar who was super sweet & easy on the eyes. He seemed new but he got all our drinks for us quickly. I got some pull tabs from the machine & ended up winning my $$ back pulse a couple extra dollars. We sat @ a table & played a game that I had brought for us to finish from another night. The members that were inside were friendly to us. Someone was playing some good tunes. I'd definitely be interested in coming back to check this place out again. It's in walking distance from the Amtrak so it would be a good spot to hit before catching the train.

My brother and his wife, who are both handicapped, went there to grab a quick bite to eat today. Never had a problem before today. First they told them they didn't have a seat that could accommodate them, and then the waitress that was supposed to be "serving" them treated them like dirt. They did not have hot dogs that are normally on the menu and when my sister in law turned to my brother, who is profoundly deaf, spoke loudly asking him if he'd just like cheese and crackers since they had to eat something. Then, the waitress rudely said "I don't have time for this" and walked away. They clearly need to be schooled on customer service. Shame, shame, shame on you. Glad my brother and his wife walked out after that.

After being double booked at the American Legion in Plaistow NH yesterday I was calling around to…read morefind another event hall in the area. I called this American Legion in Pelham NH and the bartender I spoke with was extremely friendly. I think she could tell my desperation as I had a surprise 30th birthday for my boyfriend but no longer anywhere to host it. The bartender explained they had another party booked that night but had canceled so she couldn't confirm until she got a bartender and the manager to confirm as well. She called me back in less then ten minutes and within that hour had the cleaning crew there and people to help me set up the hall. This hall was clean and inviting. The staff was exceptionally friendly and went beyond the call of duty..moving with a sense of urgency and helping me make everything happen on time. I could not have been more satisfied with this American Legion. Can't thank them enough for helping me make the night happen!!!
