It's a good size office that has a small town feel. Think Erin Brockovich. Walking in you see a well laid out office with a nice board room at the center of it. I also noticed the many letters of thanks this office has from a ton of different people (Lawrence's Mayor, other people who have hired this JD) companies, and nonprofits. It clear that this firm is well respected in the community and holding that reputation is important to him. The template pieces were all laid out, but that was it. Co-founder Luke had me read and sign all the releases first, and asked about my experience with welding etc. Being a Veteran myself, Luke as well, and the non-profit supporting Veterans and First Responders, he also made sure to ask me if loud noises or anything would bother me. Every step was explained and demonstrated before I was able to do it, and as nervous as I was at first, it quickly went away knowing he took my safety, the safety of others as well as their shop very seriously. Co-founder Ben also provided some muscle when I was unable to bend the metal myself. In just over 2 hours I had sanded, measured, re-measured, bent , hammered and welded together a really cool one of a kind 5-sided barn star. It was definitely something different to do and it was a really cool and fun experience. 5 stars !
