From my understanding the best local business to get this kind of work done. Great employees and owners. Highly recommended.

Short version: These guys were very knowledgeable, very helpful, and quick to respond. We had a…read moretough situation and they were up for the challenge. We love the way our hardwood floors look. They are worth the wait (booked 2-3 months out) Long version: We had water damage in our kitchen. We needed the damaged floor replaced and the rest of the first floor sanded and stained to match. No easy task since our floor was 17 years old. After they sanded, stained, and sealed the floor, we realized that the original builder (17 years ago) put a 2 foot by 10 foot strip of pink looking red oak in the middle of the white oak floorboards in the living room. This was imposible to see because of the tinted stain that was put on the floor to cover up the fact that the wood didn't match. Jon, our sales guy, came out on a Saturday to talk it over with us. They worked with us to squeeze us into their schedule despite being booked 3 months out. He even came and tore out the red oak himself since all of the other workers were tied up. They took out the red oak and put new white oak back in and now you can't tell at all. Honestly, I thought we were screwed. We did have to pay for them to come back to do it since it wasn't their screw up.

It looks beautiful, the perfect shade of brown and the satin finish is just what we wanted. The workmen were extremely personable and skilled at what they do. Communication with both them and the company was very good. I would highly recommend them.

The projects were all different, at different locations and each time he left the job site tidy and kept us informed of the progress. When 7 other contractors never responded, Scott called us back and told us when he'd be there. He just finished doing a walkway and a 15'x15' patio for us. We couldn't be more pleased.

I saw an ad on…read moreCraigslist for Scott McNeill, checked out his website and decided to give him a call for an estimate for a concrete patio to be put in my backyard and to have repairs done in my garage. He came out I believe that night and provided me with an estimate the next day. I decided to go with the estimate that he provided to me. He came out the following day to start the project - he put in the contract that from start to finish the job would take 5-7 days start to finish. When he came out to work on the project it was very sporadic, I had no idea what I was going to come home to and what would be done. The estimate was provided on 5/13 - he did not complete the project until 6/25! Of course there are many more details between like me trying to e-mail to get a timeline, etc. At one point when he told me he was getting called out on business and it was going to be another week, I became very upset - I was not having any more patience with this process. I told him that I would hire someone else to finish the job and I was not going to give him the remaining money that I owed (per his contract I owed 1/3 at the contract agreement, 1/3 at the start of the project, and 1/3 at the end) I actually had given him more money the second time because he asked for a "favor" and wanted more - and I was stupid and gave it to him. After all the headache, Scott McNeill agreed to come out and finally finish what he promised a month ago with the understanding he was not going to get the remaining monies. WELL, low and behold he starts sending me rude e-mails and invoices for an amount of money that I owe him. Really, I should be taking this guy to court to get all my money back. The job was done terribly, the concrete work is crumbling on the corners, and the "repairs" were not done, I still have large cracks in my garage. I have made complaints to the BBB (which he never responded to them) and to the DATCP. I would STRONGLY encourage people to do their research before choosing to do business with Scott McNeill.

We were impressed with how perfectly the new wood matched the original cupboards for such a seamless installation! We chose the arch topped pattern; we were able to use our original pretty backplates and knobs; we did update with hinges that were internal and more modern in appearance. Within the next month, a carpenter arrived to measure precisely for the project. When the big day arrived, two installers came promptly at 8 am. In two and a half days, the kitchen looked beautifully refreshed and new! Cody D. and Greg C. did an exceptional job installing everything! When they left, the kitchen was spotless! We HIGHLY RECOMMEND Mad City for your kitchen cupboard door replacements! Their representatives and their carpenters were very professional and their prices were reasonable! Enjoy the process!

From the moment I contacted them, the experience was 5-star. They were responsive, easy to schedule, and confirmed the appointment the day before. The technician arrived right on time and was incredibly courteous and professional. What sets Gutter Tuneup apart is the quality of the work and their willingness to go above and beyond. They didn't just scoop out debris; they performed a full system inspection. They found a crucial misalignment issue on the back of the house that was causing the major leak. Instead of just cleaning and leaving, they fixed the pitch and sealed the joint on the spot, solving a problem that multiple other companies missed or ignored. The gutters now flow perfectly, even during heavy rain. They also did the best cleanup I've ever seen--absolutely no mess, leaves, or debris were left on my lawn, deck, or driveway. They treated my property with respect. If you need basic cleaning or, like us, you need an expert to finally fix a recurring issue, stop searching and call Gutter Tuneup. They are worth every single penny. Highest recommendation possible!

This two-star rating does not reflect the quality of work performed by the individual sub-contracted companies, which final product was satisfactory after timely repairs. The low rating is due to a significant lack of communication with Ridge Top, and unfinished work. Sub-contracted crews showed up on-site unannounced or changed their work schedule without notice from Ridge Top. We were informed we did not need to be home on days only outdoor projects would be completed, and yet crews were ringing the doorbell asking for instructions about installation that was not provided to them by Ridge Top (window orientation, down spout locations, etc). This interfered with work-from-home meetings. During siding work, the doorbell circuit was closed by poor nail placement causing it to run continuously. This resulted in both the door bell and transformer to become overheated and melt the bell chime cover inside the house. This was replaced by an electrician in a timely manner. Significant work-site debris was left in the yard, and Ridge Top's project managers shared our alarm at the final walk through. Together, we picked up roofing brackets, pail-full of nails we have collected with our own magnet, trimmed pieces of fascia/soffit/siding, and whole shingles. When we signed with Ridge Top we specifically asked, and were assured, that the new window trim would match the existing size, eliminating the need for additional significant drywall and paint repair. After 2 separate measurement appointments before installation, the finished trim installed on 13 windows was significantly smaller. We raised this concern during installation and at multiple walkthroughs, but it was repeatedly ignored. At the final walkthrough, Ridge Top acknowledged the extensive repairs required to both drywall and painting, and offered to provide compensation if we could get a quote from our own painter. Unfortunately, 2 weeks after the quote was shared with Ridge Top and multiple un-returned phone calls, they reversed this decision citing generic contract terms. This situation would not have been an issue had Ridge Top honored their initial assurance of minimal repairs or addressed the problem promptly. Instead, the lack of transparency and follow-through has resulted in unnecessary additional expenses and frustration.

They not only charged two grand over the price quoted, they filed a lien on the property even though they knew I was in the process of taking out a bank loan to pay for it. This was after they had already received eleven thousand dollars (almost all that was due). Ironically, they're filing of the lien might be the the thing that sinks the loan, as it is a HELOC. Greedy, greedy company. As for the quality of the work, I am pretty sure I didn't get my money's worth. There are items on the invoice that I am certain they didn't do because Jeff, the guy in charge told me they weren't going to do, but he told me he would be billing insurance for anyway. They got it all done within a single day with a bunch of guys who didn't speak English. Their sign will be going in the garbage today.
