We worked with Nonn's on a large home project involving flooring, tile, and appliances. When…read moreservice issues arose, the experience was far below what we expected from a company handling a project of this scope. Our range broke immediately and was unusable for weeks. We also had a separate dishwasher issue that required months of follow-up before ultimately failing and needing faulty parts replaced. Communication throughout the process was slow, inconsistent, and often required repeated effort from us just to receive basic updates. Although repairs were eventually completed and a partial credit was issued, Nonn's declined to provide any further accommodation despite the prolonged disruption and clear service breakdowns. The response from leadership made it clear that customer experience was not a priority once problems occurred. We made multiple good-faith attempts to resolve this privately. Based on how these issues were handled, we would not choose to work with Nonn's again and would encourage others to carefully consider their options before committing to a significant project.

They did not tell me they did this all they did was move a calendar we had put up with a magnet over the dent. it took getting a hold of the Waukesha Mgr. to try to get this situation fixed. After three weeks they brought a new refrigerator replacement but it had a bigger dent in it than the original. I finally made a deal with them to make a credit on my credit card and am just keeping the dented original refrigerator. I guess the worst part is that they damaged the fridge and tried to cover it up without telling me. My question is can you trust a company after they do something like this?

There was no problem taking home several carpet samples for a few days, trying to make my decision. One thing I really appreciated was their array of companies, fabric, colors, information on content and environmental/allergen free choices. I was lucky to have Molly assist me because I was overwhelmed, not being someone who shops for carpet often. Molly found samples closer to what I wanted than I had found. I was stuck and she was patient and helpful, never pushy. I ended up choosing a large and fabulous area rug which Sergenians have several stacks of. Jacob was also very helpful finding runner choices for me.

We selected them because of their experience and long history in the community. We thought they would be knowledgeable and stand behind their work. Boy were we wrong! Their subcontractor botched the installation. within a few months, we had adhesive constantly oozing from the cracks in the lvt, damaging the equipment placed over it and posing a slip and fall risk for our customers. We met with Sergenians staff several times once we figured out what was happening. They were either unwilling or unable to come up with solutions and suggested that we are somehow responsible for the problem which is absurd. They also interfered when we tried to get tech support from their adhesive supplier. Don't assume that longevity necessarily means better reliability or quality! We paid a premium for a shoddy installation that they were unwilling to stand behind.

A few months ago we had a water incident that damaged our kitchen and dining room and we decided:…read more"It's time to replace some flooring, it is time to replace some carpet!" We filed an insurance claim, we got the dosh, and so we figured we'd shop around. Carpet Plus was one of our first starts. When we got there on a Saturday afternoon I knee-jerked and said: "Uhm, are they open?" as the lot was COMPLETELY empty. Shake it off, it was a Saturday and nobody is redoing floors all the time. Went in. No one else was there, expected. The sole attendant launched into a vague, dispassionate toned "I Don't Really Wanna Be Here" overview of the products and their various virtues and then disengaged entirely. I definitely appreciate the hands off approach. What I don't appreciate versus what I've seen elsewhere between box stores and local joints: NO. POSTED. PRICES. Like for the material itself, let alone anything else. I'm posting this after having been through a local store where all that was posted, sales were shared, rebates announced. Maybe they're fine but they need to be more professional, post prices, and most importantly: SHOW they care.

Dave looked at it and agreed to fix it but never got back to me as promised and I let it go as I have a very busy work schedule. Fast forward 3 years and each piece of Tarkett flooring is buckled up/curling up from the sides and the floor looks like an ocean. 6 months have past since I first called this problem in. 3 people have already looked at the floor and took pictures. Each of the 3 have confirmed the floor is bad and said it will be replaced under the lifetime warranty but now they say a 4th person needs to look at it. I've been waiting over 2 months for this 4th person, calling the people that have already been here but they just blow me off.

This company could go bankrupt and they have my money I put over half down and they refused to schedule installation until I paid the whole amount. I'll go ahead and say it. I'm high maintenance. I expect a lot out of the businesses I deal…read morewith--prompt and friendly service, a variety of product choices, knowledgable salespeople, quick delivery of services and a good value for the price. And when something goes wrong (and let's be honest, even with the best of intentions, sometimes things just go wrong), I want it fixed quickly and with the least amount of pain possible. Last August, when my husband and I decided a flooring change was in order for our house, we decided to visit Lumber Liquidators, having zero knowledge of anything about flooring except that it was something we walked on. Our initial experience was flawless. The manager (who we learned was somewhat new to the store) Mike was immediately likable, the kind of guy who you felt like you've known for years, a buddy who just happened to work at a place you needed to buy something. No question was too stupid (how does a floor click together at the time seemed a reasonable question) and he made sure we understood what we were looking at. I think our visit, which we happened to purchase on based on the customer experience alone, lasted about two and a half hours. While there was a limited staff on-site during the off-peak hours we were there, Mike handled us and other customers with a finesse that can't be taught, and everyone in the store seemed all too happy to be pouring over bamboo, hardwood and vinyl samples with someone who genuinely seemed passionate about his store, his work and the product he was selling. We were impressed and skipped happily out of the store, receipt in hand, anxiously awaiting our installation expert measurement appointment. Here's the point in the story where I'll skip the drama details with the at-the-time third party installers. Our experience with that branch was so negative there is no scale accurate enough to depict the amount of incompetence and lack of any sort of customer service. Luckily Lumber Liquidators wised up and has since switched to a really great installer called Hometown Floors (who are nothing short of amazing). My point to mention this is how the store dealt with us during the epic fail of an install. And the point why it's so important, when things go wrong, to have a manager like Mike and a store like the one in Sun Prairie in your corner. Because they make it right. Even though the store and Mike had no control over the install, Mike took our case upon himself personally. He called when he had no reason to, checking up on our progress though honestly his part in our customer journey ended as soon as we walked out of the store. He worked with us when we needed to return materials, called on our behalf and through it all getting us the best deal possible on new materials. He took care of us every step of the way, and our journey from start to finish was over five months. To say he went the extra mile, was an understatement. If it weren't for this caring manager, I have to say I'd probably be on a smear campaign of Lumber Liquidators. Instead, we're loyal customers from here on out as long as Mike is running the store because we know he'll take care of his customers. It's what every manager should aspire to and I'd highly encourage anyone searching for bamboo, hardwood or even vinyl to give Mike and his team a visit. And while you hopefully will have no hiccups in your journey to new floors, even if you do, Mike and his team will take great care of you.
