This week's task was handling a potential infestation of rodents. Oh joy! Nothing like having your home be a home for unwanted critters, and, well, eww. Roberto showed up on time, even messaging when he was on his way, listened to my concerns, and took a look around our basement. I was relieved to find out that it did not appear as if we had a big problem, or at least as big of a problem like I had feared, and that he would look outside as well. Once outside, Roberto inspected the house and found the likely point of ingress for mice. It made total sense because the gap in the siding coincided with where the soffit for the ductwork is in the basement. He gave me quotes on the services that were available, ranging from quarterly visits to a one-time sealing of the house, and then gave me some ideas on what I could do to handle some things myself. The service charge was $99, and if you sign up for one of their quarterly services or another one of their offerings, then that service charge is rolled into part of the overall fee. I was super-pleased with that part of the arrangement and I look forward to utilizing their services. Very responsive, easy to set an appointment, and a relatively thorough inspection, all in the span of less than an hour. Great experience!

The person that came out was not even at my house for seven hours. So the treatment was not effective. I still have bedbugs. I paid $4000 for a service that was not done correctly. Their inspector was supposed to come back out in a two hour window Never showed up. They want to send another company out to do it again. I have no extra storage in my modular home so I had to rent a storage unit. They want me to do it again and won't cover the charges this time. Not going to happen and saying that me moving stuff out of the house like I was instructed to is what is causing the bedbugs because those items weren't treated. But I was instructed to move those items out of the house so they are not damaged. Very unhappy with this company now $4000 down the drain. Do not use Orkin. They will not stand by their work. All over the website it says that there will be a follow up inspections for bedbugs never once was contacted. They only want to blame me for doing the prep work that they told me to do.

It is not a surprise when you Google search terminix that you cannot see they're ratings or reviews like other pest control companies in your area. Our facility will now be looking for another contractor to handle pur pest control needs. I was quoted a rate of $60.00 per month for the Pest Plan. Scheduled an appointment. When the guy arrived at the home, it took him less than 10 minutes to spray. WTF?? I assumed whole-house pest protection which in my mind, would include spraying the inside and outside of the entire home. How can you adequately spray the entire home for bugs in less than 10 minutes?? Three (3) days later the home still had ants. Scheduled another appointment for spraying. Took off work on the scheduled day but guy was a no-show. Rescheduled for another day in the morning. Again, took off work for the rescheduled appointment but the guy showed instead in the afternoon. Come to find out when the credit card statement that there was an initial fee of over $250.00 that I got charged. I was never told about this initial fee, it just showed up on my credit card statement. That is a lousy way to do business, in my opinion. I called to complain about the oversight and they offered me the same plan for a new rate of $30,00 a month. They would have course keep the $250.00. I was already pissed by that time and I decided to cancel their services. An expensive lesson to learn but nevertheless, I will not do business with a Company that CONVENIENTLY forgets to mention any additional attached "Customer Fees". Plus they can't seem to keep their original appointments worth a flip. Buyer beware!!!

This same technician (Lee) had complained about the fact that we feed the birds and even though we had reported very large mice or rats getting into the house, did not place large enough bait stations (a local exterminator recommended much larger stations and correctly identified the critters as Pack Rats).
