no soliciting sign

Despite having a "No Soliciting" sign, this company continues to ring our doorbell every few months. When I point to the sign they shrug their shoulders and say they're just trying to do their job. Well I work from home and am also just trying to do my job. The sign is there for a reason. It will be a waste of your time and mine. I'm very aware of your company and because of your complete lack of respect I will never use Joshua's Pest Control. I've added a new little pink note for your convenience. At this point YOU are the main pest that I hope to get rid of.

This company charged me $14,000 to eradicate mice in the attic over the garage. This is a brand new townhouse. I doubt if I even had mice.

This week's task was handling a potential infestation of rodents. Oh joy! Nothing like having your home be a home for unwanted critters, and, well, eww. Roberto showed up on time, even messaging when he was on his way, listened to my concerns, and took a look around our basement. I was relieved to find out that it did not appear as if we had a big problem, or at least as big of a problem like I had feared, and that he would look outside as well. Once outside, Roberto inspected the house and found the likely point of ingress for mice. It made total sense because the gap in the siding coincided with where the soffit for the ductwork is in the basement. He gave me quotes on the services that were available, ranging from quarterly visits to a one-time sealing of the house, and then gave me some ideas on what I could do to handle some things myself. The service charge was $99, and if you sign up for one of their quarterly services or another one of their offerings, then that service charge is rolled into part of the overall fee. I was super-pleased with that part of the arrangement and I look forward to utilizing their services. Very responsive, easy to set an appointment, and a relatively thorough inspection, all in the span of less than an hour. Great experience!

Theres no way to…read morecontact your local branch directly, I've experienced many no call no shows in the past year, our facility has had a continuous issue with water bugs that is getting worse even after treating monthly, reschedule after reschedule, not showing up at time they stated (almost as if they're waiting until I'm no longer at work to show up when they do) not following through with services requested, and even telling me to buy and install bug traps myself! It is not a surprise when you Google search terminix that you cannot see they're ratings or reviews like other pest control companies in your area. Our facility will now be looking for another contractor to handle pur pest control needs. EDIT: After looking at some of the reviews and seeing the company only respond to positive reviews, it really shows what this company thinks of its customers.

Home had ants inside an outside. Called Terminix and got the standard (cheapest) pest control plan…read morefor bug/insect control inside and outside of my home. I was quoted a rate of $60.00 per month for the Pest Plan. Scheduled an appointment. When the guy arrived at the home, it took him less than 10 minutes to spray. WTF?? I assumed whole-house pest protection which in my mind, would include spraying the inside and outside of the entire home. How can you adequately spray the entire home for bugs in less than 10 minutes?? Three (3) days later the home still had ants. Scheduled another appointment for spraying. Took off work on the scheduled day but guy was a no-show. Rescheduled for another day in the morning. Again, took off work for the rescheduled appointment but the guy showed instead in the afternoon. Come to find out when the credit card statement that there was an initial fee of over $250.00 that I got charged. I was never told about this initial fee, it just showed up on my credit card statement. That is a lousy way to do business, in my opinion. I called to complain about the oversight and they offered me the same plan for a new rate of $30,00 a month. They would have course keep the $250.00. I was already pissed by that time and I decided to cancel their services. An expensive lesson to learn but nevertheless, I will not do business with a Company that CONVENIENTLY forgets to mention any additional attached "Customer Fees". Plus they can't seem to keep their original appointments worth a flip. Buyer beware!!!

After making the contract payments for a year, they called her and told her that she was late in paying her bill, which she is the most religious person in paying bills, and she could either pay them $200 or she would be placed in collections. She argued with them about canceling her contract and they then went ahead and charged her over $650 after she got off the phone, which prompted another phone call. They then negotiated the cancellation fee down to $350. This is not a good practice for a business and taking advantage of people on fixed incomes is giving scam artist vibes for a big business.
