Being a homeowner means you have a list of things that never ends: upgrades, repairs, and routine maintenance always keeps us on our toes. This week's task was handling a potential infestation of rodents. Oh joy! Nothing like having your home be a home for unwanted critters, and, well, eww. Roberto showed up on time, even messaging when he was on his way, listened to my concerns, and took a look around our basement. I was relieved to find out that it did not appear as if we had a big problem, or at least as big of a problem like I had feared, and that he would look outside as well. Once outside, Roberto inspected the house and found the likely point of ingress for mice. It made total sense because the gap in the siding coincided with where the soffit for the ductwork is in the basement. He gave me quotes on the services that were available, ranging from quarterly visits to a one-time sealing of the house, and then gave me some ideas on what I could do to handle some things myself. The service charge was $99, and if you sign up for one of their quarterly services or another one of their offerings, then that service charge is rolled into part of the overall fee. I was super-pleased with that part of the arrangement and I look forward to utilizing their services. Very responsive, easy to set an appointment, and a relatively thorough inspection, all in the span of less than an hour. Great experience! read more

When the painters discovered bats in a dead space of the attic, we wanted a service that used a humane method. I called them on a Friday, and they arrived the following Monday for an inspection. The two,young men were very professional, clearly explaining the process they used to rid us of the bats, but in a way that did not harm them. We have to wait a couple of weeks till the babies are old enough to leave the area but will not be able to reenter. A portal is installed that allows the bats to leave but too small for them to come back in. That's the process. read more

We requested a quarterly pest control treatment plan with Midway and they were able to get us on the schedule pretty quickly. Technician, Alan, arrived on time and he was very thorough and explained the treatment. He fully treated both inside and outside the house for pests, and was very pleasant to interact with. Alan also explained the kid and pet friendly chemical being used, and proper post treatment requirements. We hope to see a reduction in pests in the coming weeks, and will update the review with its value if anything changes. read more

We requested a termite inspection when our fencing company suspected termite damage and we had extremely prompt response and inspection. It was determined we had termites in our cedar treated fence so we signed up for treatment and prevention to keep termites away from our home. I was not happy with the service I received. I did continue to see small bugs after service even after they came inside. My biggest problem that caused me to cancel my service was that they supposedly came out for service. The service person was not captured by my home camera. Also on the day of the service we had heavy rain. I imagine if something was put down outside that it was wasted away by the torrential downpour of rain. read more

They are reasonably priced, responsive, and both Rene and Marcos listened to my concerns and gave me ideas on how to better protect my home from pests, etc. After moving into a new home that had a pretty significant spider/bug problem, they sprayed originally and had no hesitation to come back out to spray in between quarterly services. We started with Midway earlier in the fall when we had an invasion of stink bugs. They came out quickly and treated our property indoors and out and explained to us what we could do in the future to keep future invasions to a minimum. We had a few stragglers, but after initial treatment the bugs were gone within a week. We set up for a quarterly spray, the first.of which happened this morning. The techs are always friendly and double check what you actually want/need done. They answer all my crazy questions and don't seem bothered by them at all. Unreliable. Cancelled an hour before my scheduled time for them to spray inside the house. The last time they came out for a quarterly exterior spray they tried to charge me despite not spraying (I have cameras showing the perimeter of my home) when I emailed them the technician did come back out within a few minutes but never sprayed the back portion of the house. Not happy to say the least. Follow up: the owners response is totally fabricated. The technician did not redo the service, cameras show he never performed the service to begin with. He rang the door bell once and then left. He was here for less than 5 minutes as I didn't have time to get to the door before he left. Beware of this company and the lies the owner tells to try and keep good reviews. At least one review is by his employee so the reviews are not even accurate. I strongly recommend going with another company. I am beyond happy with my new pest management company. Not only are they cheaper, more reliable, friendlier but also professional. read more
