Mr. Smith, how great it is to hear from you again! I have been awaiting your reply. I grow weary of your futile attempts to defend your second-rate craftsmanship and customer relations skills. Your employees were advised to make the tie in at a different point. Once the tie in was done at that point, the hot water flow was restored. The concept is simple -- you and your employees declined to take advice that resulted in great inconvenience to the customer. I implore you to take responsibility! There is no shame in admitting fault. Playing the part of the victim when you are not the one who has been victimized appears weak. You haven't even taken the time to make a customized response to two different reviews, you have resorted to pasting the same one. This again highlights a distinct lack of commitment to effective communications with current and prospective customers, especially when issues arise. Also, Yelp seems to post plenty of great reviews. I fear this may seem arrogant, but I believe my review could help others save themselves a great deal of misfortune, therefore making my review great. It isn't often a good review gets taken down for no reason. I sincerely hope you take this situation and learn from it. You can't commit a plumbing atrocity such as this and expect no consequences. Sadly, Mr. Smith seems to struggle with the truth, or at least with telling the whole story. After they removed the sediment, getting hot water to one of the bathrooms and the kitchen was an exercise in patience, and futility. After several minutes, the best that could be hoped for was a weak stream of luke-warm water unsuitable for washing your hands, let alone taking a shower. And what Mr. Smith also conveniently forgot to disclose is the fact that, after making the tie-in where it was originally suggested, everything worked as it should. So, once again, had this suggestion been followed from the start, the job would have been completed faster, and would have been far more effective. And, one would assume, the job would have cost substantially less. As I stated on my Google review on the questionable practices of this company, Mr. Smith is quick to play the victim when someone posts a negative review, while faithfully failing to take any blame for the shoddy job performed by American Plumbing. Do yourself a favor and avoid doing business with this company. You'll be glad you did. read more

called American Plumbing because, I had another so called plumber install a reverse osmosis water filter under my kitchen sink. After paying this so called plumber over $1,000.00 without success of getting any water pressure through the filter I decided it was time to call somebody else. I called American Plumbing and Terry assured me that as long as I had the manual along with the technical support number they could figure it out. Well, Terry sent a crew out immediately. They checked out the situation and the plumber called technical support and found the reason for my problem. This filter WAS NOT designed to be connected to the kitchen sink faucet. It was designed to be connected to a water dispenser that the other so called plumber must have taken with him. American Plumbing gave me solutions to my probelm, options to resolve my problem and they are now the only plumbing company for me. Come to find out, the other so called plumber IS NOT even licensed. I'm a prime example that you must be careful. I recommend that you call American Plumbing just like me. read more

Due to a business contact I waited a long time to call American Plumbing. But, after the plumbing company I used for years due my business obligation kept failing me, I finally called American Plumbing. I have known Terry for years and he has always impressed me. He sent one of his plumbers over that evening and his plumber immediately knew I had a drain problem. Terry came out and performed a video inspection and pointed out a bad spot in my line but, told me I could probably wait on making a repair in my slab. He recommended I replace the trap behind my washing machine but, was not trying to hard sell me. He took time with me and made me fill very comfortable. He even gave me a discount on the video inspection due to my daughter just being born. I now recommend American Plumbing to everybody. read more

Mr. Terry and crew of Seth, Mike & Trey were amazing to work with. Our dad's 40 year old drain pipes collapsed for about 12 feet. His daughters chose American Plumbing because of their bid and expertise, and we made the right choice! A nasty 3 day job (had to jackhammer into foundation the entire way INSIDE the house) was almost a pleasant experience!! The crew got along great, they communicated with us all along the way, we had lots of laughs & the 3 days flew by. They cleaned up the areas they worked in & hauled it off. I had slab leak at my home. Terry from American Plumbing came out and did a leak detection. Seth and Mike from American Plumbing came out today, 08/21/2023 and fixed the slab leak. When I tell you these guys are awesome....I mean I would definitely call them back over and over again. I had like 200 questions and they answered every last question. These guys are so friendly and very knowledgeable. They explained everything step by step. They even cleaned up behind themselves. The job was supposed to be a day and a half. Top notch company! They were on time, professional, efficient, and told the truth. They recommended I go elsewhere for what turned out to be a sprinkler valve issue since it didn't make sense to pay them to do a job I could get done cheaper from an irrigation pro. They even tightened my hose bib because they saw it was leaking. Also, small details count...I requested booties for my carpet which they had on them (as always they said), on top of covid times which they were wearing masks without me asking. It isn't often that you see the president of a company working. I met Terry Smith today to check a possible collapsed sewer line and he gave me the BEST news a plumber possibly could.
