I don't understand why there isn't a basic pancake batter available. What if you don't like lemon? What if pancakes are the reason you came? Being limited to a lemon-flavored pancake seems like an odd choice for a brunch restaurant. We were also excited about the complimentary champagne, but unfortunately it wasn't cold, and neither was the juice. We weren't offered ice until we asked.
