If I could give zero stars I would. Keep booking my daughters behind the wheel hours 2 months out. They have every excuse in the book and want to blame the child or the parents and then try to charge them extra for everything. Unprofessional, never in the office and never return phone calls! Four of our kids went through Ampro in the past 4 years. They are tough, but they want to make sure the kids take driving seriously. As parents, we greatly appreciate that and share those values. We have always had great follow up from the owners and appreciate their organization. They end with a parent's class that explains everything in great detail. read more

It won't let me give no stars so 1 star it is...there are 3 options in Racine for drivers ed. Pick L&B or Arcade...this Am Pro has the WORST customer service in the world...I have never got a call back, after leaving a message, sooner than 2 weeks and they don't answer the phone...and god forbid your kid makes a non driving mistake...they will just with hold his certificate even though they pass...again...HORRIBLE customer service read more

Please do not put your teenagers in their classes. They will find ways to take more money or other bad stuff will happen "unless" you get a driving teacher named Will who is a older gentleman but... there is another guy that everyone does not want to have for their behind the wheel teacher. Kids were explaining how he would have them do weird things or grab their steering wheel on the free way or just randomly. Or when he would drive that he would almost get hit or speed and then drive REALLY SLOW. So I knew I didn't want this guy. Soo I went to my classes that I paid for and one day did not have Will for my behind the wheel and I thought "Okay I'm just going to pray for the best!" And they have this thing where they will pick you up from your High school because of course you don't have your license.. And I met him at the driving school and we had to go pick up this girl who goes to Park... But on the way there he almost gets us hit by 2 cars TWO!! For those of you who knows where Park High school is you will know that as you come to the lights on top of this hill that Is by Park of course that those streets can get narrow when cars park on the street. So as we come to the stop light and there is a car in front of us who isn't going. That is waiting for the light to turn green, and he gets inpatient and try's to swing around him.. As I am in the car? Who is a student taking these classes to learn how to safely drive? And in my mind I am thinking he is going to get us killed.! As he speeds into the middle of the intersection he then stops because of course it is RED! And there are teenagers walking across the street and cars TRYING to go by safely but no he then yells out the window after everyone around him who is doing what they are supposed to be doing ... I have heard so many bad things sense I started telling this weird and ironic story about this driving school. Hope it helps you look some where but here. Sorry for the rant but really? This school is ehh. The theory classes were very boring but what do you expect. The reason I'm giving this school one star is because of the behind the wheel portion. Most of the instructors I had were pretty decent, especially Holly! She was amazing but the worst instructor was Lee. If you're a student from Park HS and you have Lee, prepare to cry! He literally will get mad at EVERYTHING you do, even when you don't make mistakes. He's so far up Horlick students' asses since he went to Horlick. He didn't correct then when they made mistakes. Also he didn't yell or stop them when they went through stop signs, which is very dangerous. Also they yell at you for something the car did, for one of the behind the wheels the car I had was trash, and the wheel would not turn. I told the instructor about it and she yelled at me. I have no idea how these instructors got hired since they're so unprofessional. Don't go to this place. read more
