Even a 7th grade boy went up to her to tell her she wasn't welcomed and that he didn't like her. This is her first day! I'm just trying to figure out if this school is even religious at this point. Those girls were rude and lack education. My niece is too sweet and just took the abuse. She came home upset and said she hated the place and didn't want to go back. Now the one star is for the so called principal. My sister left work early and went to talk to the her personally since she wouldn't return her calls. They made her wait outside the door for a while until she was finally let in. The principal asked my sister if this was going to be quick and if it wasn't that it would have to wait. Are you serious!!?? You are a principal who is being paid!! Act like one! The whole time the principal just made my sister feel as if she was wasting her time and bothering her. Mrs. Principal could've cared less about the situation and had no sympathy. Private schools are suppose to be a place for a child to have a better chance at education than a public one. This one is worse than a public school for sure. Now we know for a fact that these girls and one boy will not be addressed accordingly so that is why we are pulling her away from this mess. No child should have to go through this especially in a school like OLH. This principal and place makes me sick and we will not be stepping foot in the school or its church! I'm a business owner, if there is an issue you go and handle it asap and not try to avoid it! The principal was very unprofessional and the rumors that I heard about her turned out to be true. Bullying is not acceptable and the Archdiocese in Lake County will be hearing about this!

I would not recommend this school. My concerns were never addressed and she did not help him. My child has recently changed schools to a public school in a better area. He is now getting a much better education- without paying the huge cost of private school. Also the people who work in the office are extremely disorganized. Whenever I had to contact them they never knew what was going on or had answers to my questions. Save your money and send your child to a better school in a nicer district. This school only cares about collecting your money and not your child's education.

St. Leonard Catholic School in Muskego has been a wonderful experience for our family. I have two…read morechildren who have attended St. Leonard since 4K. My son graduated from St. Leonard in the spring of 2025, and in the fall of 2026, my daughter will be entering 7th grade. Having been part of the St. Leonard community for so many years, we have experienced firsthand the school's commitment to academic excellence, faith formation, and the development of the whole child. The small class sizes allow teachers to provide individualized attention, and the staff genuinely care about each student's academic, spiritual, and personal growth. The school offers a strong faith-based education while maintaining high academic standards that prepare students for future success. One of the things we appreciate most is the commitment to academic excellence and innovation. Students benefit from a dedicated STEM lab where they engage in hands-on learning experiences that encourage creativity, problem-solving, and critical thinking. Opportunities such as 3D printing expose students to modern technology and help prepare them for future academic and career opportunities. The middle school program offers a variety of electives that allow students to explore their interests and develop new skills. The school also provides Advanced Math opportunities for students who are ready for greater challenges, and qualified students can take a high school-level Geometry course while still in 8th grade. These advanced academic options help prepare students for a smooth transition to high school and give them a strong foundation. My son recently completed his first year of high school, and we truly saw the benefits of his education at St. Leonard. He entered high school well-prepared for the increased academic expectations, including essay writing, managing several hours of homework, and developing effective study habits for quizzes and tests. The skills and confidence he gained at St. Leonard made his transition to high school much smoother and helped him succeed from day one. The sense of community at St. Leonard is truly special. Students are encouraged to be respectful, compassionate, and service-minded, creating a welcoming and supportive environment. Communication between teachers and parents is excellent, and the faculty work closely with families to help every child succeed. The combination of strong academics, innovative programs, advanced learning opportunities, Catholic values, caring teachers, and a close-knit community makes St. Leonard Catholic School an outstanding choice for families seeking a faith-centered education. We highly recommend St. Leonard to anyone looking for a nurturing environment where children can grow academically, spiritually, and personally.

I have had two students go through the preschool program at St. Peter's and it is truly the best of…read morethe best! For the 2 year old students they even have a special outdoor play area with smaller slides and toys for that age group that both of my daughters have enjoyed! Their outdoor space and playground for the prek3 and older students is fantastic too (lots of swings and slides!) and I always felt my kids were getting such a great mix of education as well as fun outdoor time at school. Utilizing sensory bins, painting, motor room, etc. my kids have enjoyed so many fun and educational activities at this school. We have had excellent teachers for the past 4 years we have been here! Even with a child with food allergies I felt very supported by the staff including her in snacks/activities and checking in with me occasionally when needed to make sure she could be included. Even more recently St. Peter has allowed students to bring their own snacks in to accommodate the many food allergies children have nowadays. Ms. Cummins by far has been the best teacher we have ever had. She updates parents daily through the school's app (which not all teachers do!) and I always feel that I know what my child is doing at school by her fantastic communication. Anytime I have questions about something and email her she gets back to me immediately. My family has been so lucky to have her for 2 of our children. She is the most passionate, knowledgeable and caring teacher. Both of my children have learned SO much and grown by being in her class, I will forever be grateful! I would highly recommend this school to anyone in Arlington Heights and the northwest suburbs of Chicago area.

Both my boys had the same 2's teacher since that's how St. Peter does it. We have been so happy and blessed and honestly this teacher is as wonderful as they come. An absolute blessing. I was actually surprised to see another review as we had the exact opposite with that teacher. Mrs. Cummins is honestly a blessing and one of the most amazing teachers. She is the reason we never considered any other option for our second child. She has embraced all the difficulties he has had in this being his first exposure to school. She is openly communicative with all the parents and kids and I can speak for the other moms in the class as well we feel we hit the jackpot with her. When any issues arise she discusses them and works with us to find a solution that best fits our child, us and finally her. Our older son has Mrs. Grissom this year and he is thriving because of her. She treats the kids with kindness, love, and teaches them confidence. My older son was always more nervous in the school settings but she has really helped him blossom. Not only are the preschool teachers amazing but the staff is so incredibly kind and loving. They know your kids by name and ask how everyone is doing. Feeling this level of care has kept us at St. Peter. You can choose anywhere for your child to go but St. Peter has always been accommodating and caring.

I would just like to let everybody know that I was pulled out of this school after attending for only one year after the death of father. I had watched my dad drink himself to death and died due to addiction. ( my mother thought that private school may be a better pivot then public school after a horrific loss) however, with it being such a small school and due to my cultural differences, I was singled out called a " fatass mexican" by one of the students names, I will never forget Colby Boyer.. anyways my mother at the time had brought this to the principal's attention who proceeded to do nothing because his mother had her three other children enrolled in the school and heavily involved with the church. This actually impacted me severely mentally years later to the point where almost 15 years later I'm writing this review for parents now that I'm a parent myself please be aware before you send your child here.... I will never disgrace God and I attend another church happily. however I have never felt as if God had let me down, as let down by him as I felt when I attended this school freshly after losing a parent.
