We opted for their $20 pick up/drop off service and it went fairly well. They picked up our rugs when they said they would and they were quick and nice. I would have felt more comfortable if they would have invoiced/tagged my rugs in my house, before taking them out to the truck. I added two extra rugs last minute that were not on my original invoice so I would have liked to have had the comfort of knowing all my rugs were properly accounted for and have a copy of that information. That being said, a few days later I did receive a very thorough email documenting each of my rugs. They included invoice numbers, QR codes, and several detailed photos of each rug and this gave me the confidence that I didn't feel during the pick-up. In fact I will go as far as saying that this documentation was extremely professional and I was very impressed with it. The rugs were then returned after the cleaning and drying process and each one was properly tagged and nicely wrapped in heavy paper for protection. Upon opening and inspecting them I felt that all but one were cleaned to my liking. All but one smelled neutral (no strong scent) and they looked and felt clean on both sides. It was very noticeable that they had been cleaned well. I was satisfied. And the one small rug that I wasn't satisfied with (it still smelled to me of pet urine -we bought it used at a low price knowing the condition) but I give kudos to the company because they took it back to re-clean it at no cost, (although they claimed I was smelling the latex from the backing and not urine in which I disagree, as this was the only rug that didn't smell neutral and still had the same circular stains on the back, unlike my other four rugs which smelled neutral and those markings were no longer visible). I can't complain though because they offered to re-clean it at no cost and they were very professional about it. Based on these things I will definitely try them again when I need their services. One more addition... I used them during one of their 40%off each rug promotions and there were no gimmicks or "fine print " and it was because of this promotion that I could afford having all my rugs cleaned at once. I don't think I would have use them with without the promotion as the prices would have been too steep.

It is white with a chevron pattern and was grey when I brought it in. They cleaned it amazingly to a slightly off white. Back to the foray and it is getting dirty again. When it is time I will bring it back and have them work their magic again. My mom used to have oriental rugs cleaned here and they really did magic on those.

I have been walking on the floors barefoot since they were installed. The installer did a good job on the thresholds. Both the kind that lead to an outside door and the difference in the color of the plank into the bathroom space. The Owner Tina was great to work with. They gave me the cheapest quote and had the earliest availability. Matt and Mark were a great team with over 40 years of upholstery/carpet cleaning experience. I appreciated that they went through each piece of furniture with me and explained which pieces would cost more than what I was quoted (and why) and confirmed whether I still wanted those pieces to be cleaned. They don't work on commission, so they didn't care how many pieces I got cleaned and as a result, there was no pressure. The morning of my appointment they asked if they could come earlier, but unfortunately I was running late myself! Despite this timing issue, they didn't complain or make a big stink about it. Really happy with the outcome and will be sure to use them again.

What comes out of their "machine's" nozzle is not steam, In fact the "steam" used at my home was barely warm water. (Steam is a hot vapor and should not "squirt".) 2. Carpet cleaners have ambiguously names "special" processes and "tools" that they use to differentiate themselves. Steam Magic offered a "special" that included some "magic" process that would help get out stains. They called it "Product" -- yes literally. I tend to watch out when any sales oriented businessman offers me something called "product" (common with auto detailers). Smelled like citrus cleaner. 3. Had them do a large amount of carpet and a bathroom with tile and tile shower. The carpet looked a bit revitalized when wet and has now returned to normal. The grout between the bathroom tiles was much cleaner where I did a test area with a brush (to see if it could come clean -- my area looks good!). I also tested doing the shower grout with a bush to see if it could come clean, My areas looked great, the rest of the shower looks OK but there is a total of 2 feet of grout missing that I will have to repair. I winced as they claimed they used a "higher pressure" on their nozzles for tile, and that fear was realized. 4. They worked hard but seemed in a hurry to leave. 5. Corners left dirty here and there. This diatribe is mosly a criticism of the entire carpet industry. My experience is that any vendor I have tried performed their process and did no more. Steam Master is just one of the bunch.

Inumerable moths had used them as a breeding ground / graveyard, and they were covered in a 1/8" of dust. Suffice it to say, they were disgusting and our skin crawled just looking at them. The owner surprised us with his visible delight in handling and exploring them, despite their condition. He charged a fair price to clean them, and took time to praise their craftsmanship and tell us a little of their history. More, he did not reccomend any expensive repairs to several worn patches and holes. He had a real common-sense approach and basically told us "these are rugs. They're meant to be used and the wear is part of their history." The shop is a little off-putting since it's also the owner's house. You ring the bell and wait for him to come down into the first floor "showroom." He had a ton of rugs for sale but we just came for the cleaning. Great guy, very down to Earth and honest.

They charged her 30 dollars extra to clean a spot that needed extra attention. The guy didn't even put effort in to clean the spot in the living room, you can still see the spot the same as it was before he came out. The carpet after he left was so wet you could see puddles from your foot prints. They also advertise an offer of 10% off for seniors and he did not give her this even when she asked about it while he was writing up the invoice with her. Worst of all he opened her refrigerator without asking and tried to take a canned drink for himself and when my grandma said something about it and told him to get out of there he said "I need something to drink" and was rude about her not having a beverage for him after she offered him a glass of water and he said no to it. Absolutely awful experience and do not recommend giving this company any of your hard earned money.

I know this was made for Friday because when I was on the phone making the appointment I remember them repeating back Thursday, saying "you mean Friday, right?" and them agreeing. I also told them we have 4 rooms to do and buy their 5 room package (one of our rooms is ~400 sq ft, and they cap a "room" as being 200 sq feet max, so that one counts as two). I mention we have a hallway connecting the rooms and they say they'll go ahead and do that too (two of our rooms are ~100 sq ft). I get called Wednesday and am told they'll be out on Thursday. I again say it was for Friday and am told they aren't available Friday. I'm not happy but agree since I just want to get this done. I get another call Thursday morning asking if we can move the appointment up to be sooner. We call back and leave a message saying we can do it after noon. I get called again an hour later and confirm we can do it between noon and 1pm. I'm told the cleaner will call ahead with the time they'll arrive. I get a call at 12:10pm from the cleaner asking me why I'm not home and that they've been waiting at my house for 10 minutes. There was no call telling me they were on their way or that they were going to arrive right at noon so I was running an errand. They sound very frustrated as though this was my fault for wasting their time. We have pets, and one of the main reasons for this cleaning to to take out pet and urine smells. Their website says they will deodorize your carpets and they list pet odor and urine stain removal as part of their service. When I arrive I find out the treatment for urine is an additional $0.36 sq. ft, which more than doubles the cost of the service. They do not list this or price this anywhere on their website, so I guess you only find out when they're already at your house. On top of that they charge an additional $15 for the hallway that I'd been told they'd just take care of, and the cleaner acts annoyed that I'm asking and trying to understand why the service has doubled in cost. They do pet odor and urine stain removal, but urine odor costs double, something that was mentioned by nobody and is not on their website anywhere. Their website explicitly states they have no extra or hidden fees. Not my experience. I received a call a few hours after asking how things went. The moment I started telling them the issues I had their tone changed and they couldn't get off the call fast enough. I would not recommend this company.
