DO NOT HIRE THESE GUYS !! WASTE OF MONEY AND DISRESPECTFUL ! My 95 year old grandma had these people out to clean her carpets. They charged her 30 dollars extra to clean a spot that needed extra attention. The guy didn't even put effort in to clean the spot in the living room, you can still see the spot the same as it was before he came out. The carpet after he left was so wet you could see puddles from your foot prints. They also advertise an offer of 10% off for seniors and he did not give her this even when she asked about it while he was writing up the invoice with her. Worst of all he opened her refrigerator without asking and tried to take a canned drink for himself and when my grandma said something about it and told him to get out of there he said "I need something to drink" and was rude about her not having a beverage for him after she offered him a glass of water and he said no to it. Absolutely awful experience and do not recommend giving this company any of your hard earned money. read more

Not a pleasant experience from start to finish. Originally set an appointment for Friday between 2pm and 4pm. I know this was made for Friday because when I was on the phone making the appointment I remember them repeating back Thursday, saying "you mean Friday, right?" and them agreeing. I also told them we have 4 rooms to do and buy their 5 room package (one of our rooms is ~400 sq ft, and they cap a "room" as being 200 sq feet max, so that one counts as two). I mention we have a hallway connecting the rooms and they say they'll go ahead and do that too (two of our rooms are ~100 sq ft). I get called Wednesday and am told they'll be out on Thursday. I again say it was for Friday and am told they aren't available Friday. I'm not happy but agree since I just want to get this done. I get another call Thursday morning asking if we can move the appointment up to be sooner. We call back and leave a message saying we can do it after noon. I get called again an hour later and confirm we can do it between noon and 1pm. I'm told the cleaner will call ahead with the time they'll arrive. I get a call at 12:10pm from the cleaner asking me why I'm not home and that they've been waiting at my house for 10 minutes. There was no call telling me they were on their way or that they were going to arrive right at noon so I was running an errand. They sound very frustrated as though this was my fault for wasting their time. We have pets, and one of the main reasons for this cleaning to to take out pet and urine smells. Their website says they will deodorize your carpets and they list pet odor and urine stain removal as part of their service. When I arrive I find out the treatment for urine is an additional $0.36 sq. ft, which more than doubles the cost of the service. They do not list this or price this anywhere on their website, so I guess you only find out when they're already at your house. On top of that they charge an additional $15 for the hallway that I'd been told they'd just take care of, and the cleaner acts annoyed that I'm asking and trying to understand why the service has doubled in cost. They do pet odor and urine stain removal, but urine odor costs double, something that was mentioned by nobody and is not on their website anywhere. Their website explicitly states they have no extra or hidden fees. Not my experience. I received a call a few hours after asking how things went. The moment I started telling them the issues I had their tone changed and they couldn't get off the call fast enough. I would not recommend this company. read more

Wouldn't recommend them. Rushed job with no attention to detail. The grilles that were put back on, not even wiped off even though you are charged $10 dollars per vent. I'm not even sure they removed them all but was certainly charged for them. The openings they put into the ductwork to do the cleaning look like they installed them as fast as possible, I,m a sheet metal trades worker and this wouldn't be acceptable on any of my jobs. Being skeptical after they hit the road I removed a few floor vents, found large chunks of debris still left behind. That's the reason to have the ducts cleaned I think? They said it was $89.95 10 vents/2 trunks and each vent/trunk extra and free dryer clean. Ended up costing me $1,440 - I feel like I've been had. Not going to happen again. I had 15 extra vents - ok, and 3 additional trunks of which one was about 4 feet long. $10 per vent, 3 access panels 74.85, 3 extra trunk lines $139 each, blower motor $300, coil cleaning $150, furnace cleaning $85, and dryer vent $69.95 since it was over 15 feet long. We used Rasmussen once before to clean carpets and they did a good job so we called them back at our new condo to clean the ducts and the upholstery on our recliner. When they arrived for an $89 duct job they told us that $700 would really give us the clean we were looking for. Having already had an estimate in that range from another company I was not particularly surprised so I don't blame them for that. They did a good job on the duct work. The chair they told us on the phone would be $35. Admittedly the person on the phone didn't really seem to know what she was talking about. That was a bit disconcerting because you would like accurate upfront pricing. When the guys arrived they told us the chair would be $99! We went on and had the chair cleaned since it needed it. When they were done they very nicely said if the chair isn't to your satisfaction then please call us back. So, we did because a stain on the chair didn't come out. After waiting for nearly a month for our second appointment, the guys returned with a chip on their shoulder. Wanted to know why we waited so long to call back. We told them we called back right away but it took this long to get the appointment. Then they told us we were complaining! We just simply did what they told us to do! They looked at the chair and said, "We should have gotten Alex to do it. He's really the expert on recliners." And then they did nothing and left. Who's Alex! I wouldn't use this company again. It was not a good experience for the first home buyer. Before we bought a house, the previous owner already contact the Hoffman Heat and Cooling service to do an inspection on our Central Air on June 2021. Then, we do another inspection when buying a house. All the inspection report our A/C still working good. We call Rasmussen Cleaning Service for carpet clean up, air duct cleaning, blower motor and A/C coil. They look very professional when doing a inspection all my A/C and stated that our A/C need to be clean. It was a first time we contact a cleaning service and we believe that they can provide a good care on our A/C. They came to our house around 10am and left around noon. Around 2 or 3pm, we just want to take a look on our A/C to see if the A/C is working better or not. We came to the A/C and we saw it has a something wrong on the A/C. We came out the house and saw that the coil is frozen from outside to TXV valve. We called them back on Thursday to ask them what happen when they did the cleaning on the A/C. On Friday Jul 2, we called them again and get the manager or the owner phone number. After many phone called, the guy from the other side pick up and told my husband that he need the inspector to come to check on my A/C and stated if they made the mistake they will pay for fixing. We called the Hoffman came to inspection and Hoffman told us company clean up damaged my A/C when they blow evaporator coil. The inspection suggested to change the new A/C coil. We called the manager of Rasmussen Cleaning Service and told that the inspector find out. After taking with the inspection guy, the manager refused to let him change the A/C coil because the price is high. The manager only order 3 ibs of gas for our A/C, so we can survive during the hot weekend. For the next week, he told us to contact the guy from K&K Mechanical came to check on my A/C. After checking he told me that the cleaning service didn't do anything wrong to made damage. In addition, he told us the guy from Hoffman company didn't do a good inspection. So, he stated that he will fixing our a/c and we had to pay for him. He was trying to emphasize that the cleaning service didn't involve to my ac. Well, I just believe whatever he said because I just want my A/C back to normal. We were at house while he replaced our TXV. After that, he wait about 1 hour and told us that the problem was fixed and asked for payment. He also told us if anything happens, just call him. After he left about 1 more hours, my A/C was not working correctly, it was same before. We call K&K Mechanical and Rasmussen Cleaning Service to let them know they didn't fix my A/C problem. Both of them declined to fix my A/C, and blame Hoffman. Relly bad service. Not responsible for their job. Not recommend. Specially with A/C cleaning. read more

The technicians, James and Chad were early, which worked out great! James explained everything in detail to me so there were no surprises. One thing I will say, they do advertise an $89.95 service for 10 vents plus the two main trunk lines. They wound up cleaning all our vents, which does add more cost. James was great in explaining the need to do the whole house rather than just the 10 vents. Also, if you have a newer furnace, they'll need to create access points which will add to the overall cost. Overall, I was satisfied with the service and very happy with the techs. They explained everything and showed me pictures as advertised. read more

Unreal service from beginning to end. James and Mandel were great guys who were on time, courteous, and all about creating a relationship for repeat work. We had our ducts cleaned out and ended up having our carpets cleaned as well. James was not pushy at all and presented all our options and acknowledged our new furnace and what was and wasnt needed to be done in our home.. Air quality is already improved and the suction in our brand new furnace (different company installed) is humming nicely with great air flow. The filter the day after Rasmussen got done was brown...meaning the air duct cleaning worked and got everything out of the home. Air quality in our home was superb throughout the process as everything was done timely and with vent covers to keep the dust in the system and out the door in the vacuum. The carpet cleaning was second to none and I don't think I'll ever use another service (Ive used a competitor before and a personal home steam cleaner). They went back and forth with a hand scrubber and got all the urine out of the carpet. We have never been able to get yellow dog urine out of our white carpet, but they did. I'm not joking. We had all our ducts, trunk lines (with several entry points that needed to be cut in as this was the homes first duct cleaning), drier line, and 2 rooms carpet cleaned in a 4000 sq ft home for a great value. read more

Felt bad that it was a bigger job than expected & there should have been two of them (the office should have asked more questions to better access!). Fortunately, Hector stepped up & stayed late(r) to complete the job. I would give Hector 5 stars. But, another reason for only 4 stars is the unexpected high # of ducts plus the extra costs for additional/"better" cleaning. It would be SO helpful to have a better explanation of counting the ducts & other cleaning options beforehand! - to be better prepared cost wise! This is the message I sent Rasmussen cleaning service: "Hello I received a cleaning service for my vents yesterday 11/13/2018. I was expecting a bill maybe in the 200 range but it came out to be a 450 dollar bill. I would have been fine with this price if the vents were in need of cleaning, but this was not the case. The technician asked if I had a person out here for a initial consultation, and I was not aware that there was a person that comes out to look at the vents before the cleaning technicians. I was busy working and the technician took before and after photos of the vents. They were near identical. The technician was very friendly and informative,but when it came to advising me on whether I needed the full cleaning and sanitation. He withheld that information. After the cleaning he showed me the pictures and said " you probably didn't need to clean these vents". A mechanic checks the oil clarity on a car before they do a oil change and they advise you on whether you should actually do the oil change. But if your business model is to just take the money and turn a blind eye to whether the service is actually needed then I will not be using your services and not recommend them as well. I called to talk to someone yesterday and he had seven callers on the line and he said he wrote my name and number and that he would call me back. I never received a call back. " read more

I used Rasmussen cleaning to shampoo the carpets and clean the ducts of a house we just bought. The previous owner had a cat and my wife is allergic. We have had zero problems with allergies. so far a few months later. They are not miracle workers, the old construction quality carpet looked better but not much better. The duct cleaning was successful judging by the lack of allergies. The service was very friendly, the owner did the cleaning with a new guy. It was fun talking "shop" with the owner. I would use and recommend these guys again. I give them a solid, very solid 4 starts. read more

I vacuumed after Rasmussen left and had two full canisters of dirt and dog hair in my vacuum. That might be understandable because we have dogs... but my toddler poured water on the floor and I soaked it up with a rag, which was brown from the dirt still in the carpet. Blaze always answers the phone with an awesome greeting. Scheduling, to have my living room and bedroom carpet cleaned, was easy and quick. The day prior to coming out, they give a confirmation call. The 2 upbeat and professional technicians, Beau and Jake, were on time and ready to go. We did a brief, yet thorough walk-through of the area. They described everything they're going to do, what they use, asked if I had questions, and answered all of them knowledgeably and without hesitation. They worked at a nice pace, with quality as a priority. I appreciated that they were very conscientious about, not bumping into things, being careful not to bang up against the baseboards, and how they moved the cleaning hoses around. When they were done, they removed all of their equipment pretty quietly and professionally. I HIGHLY recommend Rasmussen Cleaning for your carpet cleaning needs (I haven't used their other services). Bait and switch. Ad advertises one rate for duct cleaning and then the cleaners come to your house to assess the job and the real price is much much higher. Read the small print in the ad and know that you are going pay a much higher price. I thought I would be paying $129. They came out and counted my trunk lines and the price increased to $500. The literally will try and charge you for every hole they make in your trunk lines. Total scam. In my opinion it's a very poor business practice. I felt like I was buying a used car from an unscrupulous seller. (The techs, who I might add, were very nice/friendly, had to make several calls to the owner to check to see about negotiating the price. It felt like the car salesman having to check with his manager.) In the end, I found another company. The company I chose simply charges duct cleaning services based on the number of vents you have in your house. Period. Simple. No games. No hidden charges. They sent over a tech to inspect my house and give me a bid. Straightforward. Again, no silly sales games. The cost for 11 vents is going to be $338 with tax. I'm very ok with paying this as I wasn't jerked around. I recommend doing your homework and finding a company with upfront pricing. Avoid Rasmussen. read more

The first said that his hose was not long enough to reach my furnace and then just left. the second company said they cleaned them I could still see the dust by looking right into the vent. The third company was Rasmussen, and they were the most friendly and thorough duct cleaners I have ever used. They showed me my ducts before and after cleaning them, so I would know they actually did what I paid them to do. I will only call Rasmussen Cleaning Service when I need my ducts or carpets cleaned! Had the heating/AC ducts swept, the motors and fans cleaned, and the bathroom exhaust fan ducts blown out. The guys did a fantastic job, finished on time, and left NO mess behind. Could not possibly have been any better. read more

I hired them to clean my furnace and dryer vents, they talked me into a bunch of other services, I am not sure I really needed or not. They were supposed to take photos of before and after, I asked for the photos the next day and they said the photos had been deleted. I checked my vents when I got home and I didn't think they looked as clean as I expected. Also by the time I got home from work my furnace was not working so went without heat all night, I am still not sure what happened but they cleaned my furnace as well and now it doesn't work, coincidence probably not, now I am suppose to call a HVAC person and spend more $$ to fix my furnace. We had a great experience with this company and specifically with Tom and Nick. I called and got an appointment in a matter of days with a two hour window of 11am-1pm. I received a courtesy call the day before, and then today I got a call from dispatch telling me the team would be here in the later part of the window, around 12:30pm. Around 11:00am, I got a call directly from the techs saying they would be here at 11:30am. I was so impressed with the communication about the timing so I wasn't stuck waiting and wondering. Tom and Nick went through the house with me and wrote out the cost before starting the work. The cost aligned with the quote given to me over the phone last week. They were able to complete 6 rooms, 2 sets of stairs, and a hallway in just over an hour. They were kind, funny, and a pleasure to have in our home. When all the work was done, they again went over the billing statement, walked through a few rooms to show us the work that was done, and wished us a good day. The cost was VERY reasonable and we will HAPPILY call Rasmussen for our next cleaning. read more

Tom and Nick were great. They called before they came. They were courteous and professional. They took off their shoes before working in the house. They showed us the before photos on their cameras as they took them. When they were done, they put the cameras in the ducts and showed us the after photos. They did a very nice job cleaning all our ducts. They were not cheap, but the work was excellent. I would recommend them to anyone who wants to have their ducts cleaned properly. read more

Called them for an estimate on air duct cleaning and he started to pitch me me on the "$89.95" special. I tried to stop his spiel, as I've had this service done a couple time at my home and know that the costs are usually in the $300-$400 range if done correctly. I don't know who Rasmussen is getting to put in these fake reviews, but let me tell ya, this company sucks! I called Rasmussen to come and clean carpets in our home. They arrived on time, but it was not the Rasmussen vans you see on their website. It was some guy who Rasmussen contracts to do their cleaning. Worst carpet cleaning ever! It took him less than 20 minutes (I timed it) from start to finish. I was like "so is that the first pass" and he said "no, I'm done". I was in shock. He tried to tell me that it was fast due to the professional equipment and powerful cleaning chemicals he uses. It didn't even look like the carpet had been cleaned and the stains were still there (which I later got out myself using Resolve.) I paid him and he left. I was afraid to say anything to him (he seemed weird), and I was also afraid to say anything to Rasmussen, since their weirdo contracted carpet guy knew where I lived. My advice: DO NOT USE RASMUSSEN. They contract out for their cleaners, and they do a terrible job. It seems like they get their friends to post 5 star reviews for them on certain sites. NO WAY. I would have given them less than 1 star if it were possible. read more
