So charge me for an air refill punch card and then go out of business a month later? No wonder they are done!!!! No scruples!

They are always friendly, always willing to take the time to help me with any of my gear. I recently was certified as a tec diver with them and it was an amazing experience. They always get me anything I need/want! They have super staff and they are all very knowledgeable. I have been going to them for years and I can't say enough good things about them. I have all my gear serviced here and it is always quick and done right. In short I definitely will not go anywhere else! If you need anything scuba related, or if you are looking to get into the hobby Signature is the best place to do it!

With signature Scuba to Catalina Island on the boat CeeRay?." Yep I would love to. Let me call my friend and see if she wants to go. Service: Every time I called the shop, Glenn answered. I must have asked a million questions. I am such a procrastinator. I signed up late. I called and I asks, I need two spaces and there's only one left. He calls a few people makes some sort of arrangements. Bam calls me back and I have two spots on this boat for July 18 and 19th. Book it Gleno!!!!!!! He answered the phone each time with efficiency professionalism and accuracy in just a few words. Love this guy. We get on the Cee Ray (the boat) set up our gear, get the details, briefing and our bunks. Everyone on the Cee Ray was very friendly and welcoming. We were strangers amongst many local friends. We were welcomed and definitely not left out of the laughs and good stories. The travel stories were all wonderful to hear. We dove on Saturday. The briefings about each dive site were informative and exactly what was told. The Dive Masters all of them (Mikee, Casey, and a few more) were helpful without gear, air fills, and efficiency was the name of the game for this scuba shop. Breakfast lunch snacks were all very tasty and full of flavor. We appreciated the service and the cleanliness of the Cee Ray and the folks running the boat were amazing as well. My friend and I felt welcomed, and it is always nice to dive with such an outstanding Dive shop. We were offered to continue on with Women's Dive Weekend with crafting the following day. Jennifer took us around the shop and I decided to get air fills and get a new compass. Glenn my new friend sold me a new one and installed it. Great service for sure. Wonderful experience to say the least. The value of how much I paid and the service. The price was right now sure. Best value.

I decided it was most likely safer to get the battery changed. I found Beach Cities Scuba in Dana Point, CA and took the computer there. The technician came to me to tell me that a screw had snapped off. Eventually, I was in touch with Scuba Center Temecula. After explaining the situation, and them verifying it, they decided to replace my dive computer. The screw snapping off could have happened to anybody. It just so happened at one of their dive shops. The amazing thing is they stepped up and did the right thing. It is refreshing to know there are still companies out there with integrity. I am now a loyal fan.

I completed the Open Water Certification with Scuba Center Temecula. The entire experience was…read morespectacular. Starting with getting registered by Alex Milan (there are two Alexes). He explained everything clearly. After completing the online classes (which I learned later did a great job of teaching the basics although somewhat boring) which is a PADI requirement (don't blame Scuba Center Temecula), I went on my first dive using SCUBA gear. It was in a swimming pool, so not the most amazing thing, but getting to use the equipment and breathing underwater for the first time was an amazing experience. The pool training was long, but Alex Visselli (our dive instructor) made it fun and interesting. Most of the time, we were able to complete the "tasks" on the first try. When we did not get it perfect, Alex V gave us the sign for redo and we did it again. He would always show us how to do it again before we tried it the second time. He had a lot of patience. Although it was a long day, and only going to a depth of 8 feet, it was probably the greatest day of education I have ever had. The next week was at Lake Perris. We saw a couple of fish, but since the day was really more about training in calm open water, that was just a bonus. Once again, Alex V explained everything we were going to do before we went in the water. Then, in the water, we practiced all of the skills we would need for the open water ocean dive, and a lot of skills we will hopefully never need. Removing the weights and putting them back in was incredibly difficult for me, but I was able to do it much better in the lake. Finally, we took the boat to Avalon and walked over to the Casino Dive Park (the equipment was taken by taxi). We did a couple more skill exercises and then explored. At this point Alex V became more of a tour guide than an instructor, although we still had issues here and there which Alex V helped us with. After getting out and having the air cylinders refilled, we went back in the water for pure exploration. Alex V pointed out different fish. The highlight of the second dive was seeing a giant black sea bass. It truly lived up to its name. Alex V was an excellent instructor. He was patient and explained everything clearly, always asking if we had any additional questions. He made sure we had fun, while also making sure we had learned everything and could do it properly. His vast diving experience was a huge asset.

Bula! Thank you ScubaX travel and Scuba schools of America…read more Our dive trip to Fiji was absolutely outstanding. The diving exceeded expectations with warm, clear water, vibrant soft corals, and an abundance of marine life at every site. From colorful reef fish and turtles to sharks cruising by, every dive felt alive and unforgettable. The dive operators were professional, safety-focused, and genuinely welcoming. Briefings were thorough, groups were well managed, and the guides clearly knew the reefs intimately. Their passion for the ocean and respect for the environment really stood out. Above the water, Fiji was just as special. The warmth and kindness of the Fijian people made the trip even more memorable, and the relaxed island atmosphere was the perfect complement to full days of diving.

Rusty not only talked me into retaking the Open Water course, but also two boat trips. The total of which was $905.00. I regretted my purchase and wrote to him the next day, asking for a refund. The stated refund policy on their website is that trips can be refunded if canceled 30 days before the start of travel. Two weeks later, I still haven't received the refund. Against my better judgment, I visited the store for my first class and was talked into buying $5,710 worth of overpriced scuba equipment, before we even entered the pool. I left the store never even getting the $4,638 scuba system I was charged for. I have open disputes with my credit card company to get my money refunded. I have also filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau. I found online that Rusty Berry and Scuba Schools of America have a bad reputation in the scuba diving community, for disingenuous sales tactics, inflated prices, and questionable refund policies. Visit scubaboard.com and search for Scuba Schools of America. There's a whole thread about them and the negative experience others have had with them. Avoid this store and its owner.

It's usually clean and free of seaweed, and it just smells so good... no icky fish or seaweed decay odors; just clean ocean beach air. This beach only gets GOOD tanning sun during PEAK Summer hours, otherwise, it's kind of... a gamble on the tides and the time of day as to whether you can use the beach for tanning or not. It's a nice beach to NOT get tons of sun on, especially after about 5PM to sunset. It varies, of course, but that's TYPICALLY what you'll find happening. I do NOT believe this area has a lifeguard watching it (?) but correct me if wrong. I don't and haven't seen a lifeguard stand here. The next beach OVER, however does have a lifeguard watching post. This is the spot to go relax... and just sit with yourself and your thoughts. Let the tide rise a little, and then let it go out... and let your problems go with it. It's the best therapy for free you can get, I think... but, anyway... enjoy! :]

When the waves come in, it creates little waterfalls as it cascades over the rocks and back into the ocean. There are leopard sharks and stingrays here. The little sharks are bottom feeders and never bother people. The stingrays, however, can sting! All the more reason to get past the shorebreak ... there are fully stocked bathrooms right up the hill which is such a plus for beach days! There are also lifeguards on both sides of the beach. The only downside is parking. It is limited but if you get lucky, make the trek down here!
