My instructor is very knowledgeable and covers all topics in detail and makes it easy to follow. We also have a lot of fun while learning and I've met a few great dive buddies through the programs I've taken. They always have all the equipment needed for our dives and are very good at resolving issues on the spot. Their administrative skills are great too. They provide syllabi for all the classes so that you know what to expect, how to prepare, and what to bring. I feel like I definitely get my monies worth. I look forward to getting additional certifications with PDT.

I've left a reg and a SS1 there (separately) and even tho they were promised to be ready by my trip. The date came, they weren't ready. Both times, the gear was there for over a month. This last time (and it will be the last time) they promised a month; i got busy and left it 2 months. I called, it wasn't done. When I threatened a poor review, the owner called me, got nasty and said he didn't appreciate the threat and my SS1 was going to 'magically' be done that Sunday. Here's the facts: I don't ever threaten, i write honest reviews, both good and bad. So the next person knows what to expect, that's what YELP is about. So, as they say "if the shoe fits" and if it fits in a bad way, then FIX IT. I am not happy about it and it really is a shame, they are local and I prefer to do business locally. I decided it was most likely safer to get the battery changed. I found Beach Cities Scuba in Dana Point, CA and took the computer there. The technician came to me to tell me that a screw had snapped off. Eventually, I was in touch with Scuba Center Temecula. After explaining the situation, and them verifying it, they decided to replace my dive computer. The screw snapping off could have happened to anybody. It just so happened at one of their dive shops. The amazing thing is they stepped up and did the right thing. It is refreshing to know there are still companies out there with integrity. I am now a loyal fan.

They are always friendly, always willing to take the time to help me with any of my gear. I recently was certified as a tec diver with them and it was an amazing experience. But…read morewhen I called in for a fitting, they did not have enough inventory to fit me for, told me to come later in the week when inventory may possibly come back. Also they tell me that I have to pick up my rental equipment to bring to the dive boat site. I am appalled when someone named Sherrie tells me divers need to own their own equipment like a mask, snorkels and fins and don't have those to rent out even though they are a dive shop. She had a sarcastic and condensing tone with me because she was surprised I did not have my own fins and told me they did not carry my size. She said "Welcome to California! Where are you from?" In my almost twenty years of scuba diving all over the world, I have never been met with such poor customer service, gaslighted for not owning fins, assumes all scuba divers own their own equipment and tells customers to pick up their own rental equipment when we pay them to do so. I have canceled my upcoming trip because I don't feel safe with diving with them and have not been refunded my money yet. I would think twice before paying your money to this dive shop.
