Prior to my wisdom teeth removal, I had heard so many stories about how painful the recovery could…read morebe, so I was understandably a bit nervous going into the procedure. I can honestly say that Dr. Laila Malaki completely exceeded my expectations. She extracted my two lower wisdom teeth with incredible skill and precision. I experienced very little to no pain or discomfort immediately after the procedure and throughout my recovery. My healing process was remarkably smooth, and I couldn't have asked for a better experience. Beyond her clinical expertise, Dr. Malaki was thorough, compassionate, and took the time to answer all of my questions, which gave me a great deal of confidence and peace of mind. Her entire team was professional, kind, and made me feel comfortable from start to finish. I would wholeheartedly recommend Dr. Malaki to my family, friends, and anyone in need of wisdom tooth removal or any oral surgery procedure. She and her team are truly exceptional, and I am incredibly grateful for the outstanding care I received.

I got an extraction from Dr. Malaki at this location. The experience was horrible. I got general…read moreanesthesia. I told them up front that they should use my hand because people have issues giving me injections through my arm. They proceeded to stick me in both arms multiple times before resorting to using my hand like I told them. The doctor was condescending about me not bringing my inhaler, which I was never told to bring with me over the phone. After the extraction, I had an extreme amount of swelling and was never scheduled for a follow up appointment. I started having severe pain in the following week, for which the painkillers I was given (Tylenol 3) were not working. In the second week of healing, I called and explained that I was having severe pain and wanted to speak to the surgeon over the phone because I could not afford to keep taking days off work. I was told I would not be allowed to speak to her and would be required to come in. I was then told I could not be scheduled until the next week, despite my pain (it was giving me migraines and I couldn't sleep more than 2 to 3 hours a night). The front desk woman did not care in the slightest. I was on the verge of tears on the call because it truly was that serious and she acted like I was inconveniencing her by explaining my experience. When I made it into the office finally, Dr. Malaki looked at me, told me the socket was healing well, I was having this reaction because I'm a woman and my hormones can mess with the healing, and that I should have just called and spoke to her over the phone if that was more convenient than coming in. In summary, don't go here. My partner got an extraction of THREE TEETH compared to my one tooth and had nowhere near as much swelling or pain. They distinctly ruined my ability to have faith in dental professionals and if I thought I had grounds to sue, I would.

Been coming here for years. Love Dr. Ken. Over the last few years the service has GREATLY declined…read morein the Homewood office. I've had some stressful interactions with staff. I have bought many pairs of designer glasses here but the quality of the lenses are not good. I've gotten better lenses for less money online. Unfortunately I may be looking for another office to service my eyes and my style choices. They don't repair my frames here. Had the same problem with 3 pairs of Gucci, Tom Ford and Jimmy Choo. The doctors though are AMAZING. Definitely worth it for them but not necessarily a retail outlet. Other than wait time, the service is stellar. Good luck.

Dr. Lisa Wilson is fantastic. However, the administrative and office staff are a bunch of…read moreincompetent clowns that have a collective IQ of about 3. When it comes to ordering glasses or contact lenses, I would trust a bunch of first-graders more than these people. For example, my wife's glasses sat in their office for 2 1/2 weeks while they texted their availability to a home phone line, which we all know doesn't work. Not one follow up phone call was made after this. Funny, they had my cell number and appointment reminder texts had been previously sent to me but no one took the initiative and tried a phone call or a text to my cell phone. That would have required common sense, which NONE of these office staff people have.
