My tire was blown on the freeway. Me and my husband put on a little spare tire and drive 12 miles to get to American tire depot at closing time. As soon as we got there Jose the assistant manager greeted us and was able to get us on the road again in as little as 30 minutes . He was professional and courteous. Horrible customer service! I will never go there again! I had an appointment to get my oil changed at 4:30 PM and I got there at 4:30 PM and some girl was there asking questions about rims and tires forever while I was waiting. After 20 minutes I asked the guy, "Excuse me, if you aren't going to take my keys and it was going to take this long, please let me know and I'll come back another day because I have things to do," and he just put his finger up and told me to wait. Five minutes later he came and grabbed my keys and took them to the shop. He could have did that 25 minutes earlier. Just tell the girl in a nice way, "Can you please hold on for a second and I'll be right back because this guy has an appointment," and then grab my keys like he did and be done with it. But I guess that was too hard. Even after that it didn't get finished until 5:50 PM and that girl was still asking about rims and tires. Maybe he was flirting with her and wanted a girl because that's all they were doing. Talking for an hour and 20 minutes. That's while I was there. Who knows how long they were doing that before. It took an hour and 20 minutes just to get an oil change! There were no other cars even being worked on! Ridiculous! I went earlier in the day and they were busy so he told me to come at 4:30 PM so I moved my plans around and stopped my work early to go there and even made appointments for after since that should only take like 35 minutes. That was a mistake. I had people calling me and waiting for me for an hour. ​I thought he would at least tell me sorry that it took so long and maybe give me a small discount or charge me for the cheaper oil change or something but he didn't. Didn't even act like anything was wrong with what they did. In the end, don't go there for any service to your vehicle! read more
