The event was nice with very good instruction by the coaches that came in from California to support the owner. They had catering by Amici with plenty of pizza, cookies & even cannolis to welcome everyone. The location was pretty small inside with barely enough room for everyone and we had a hard time locating it. There is free parking behind the building in a lot surrounded by the apartments.

I ended up teaching at a local gym as a Blue Belt (mostly no-gi with basic gi) and later got my purple belt from Glenn Hamby, who was a brown belt under Marcio Feitosa at the time. After a few years I had to give up teaching to pursue a career. I have since moved to Fayetteville, GA and was referred to Gracie Balance in Sharpsburg. There are a few schools closer to where I live. I have nothing bad to say about them, since I haven't trained with them, however, since the first day I trained with Jorge (3rd degree under Pedro Sauer) I never regret driving past them to train with Jorge and the rest of the BJJ family there! Keep in mind I have shopped plenty before I moved here, so I'm familiar with how other schools are run (Franco De Camargo--LA, Kron Gracie--LA, Renato Luca--Carazinho, R.S.
