I should have noticed this, but they were so caked with dirt (ok and dried manure) I did not. Before I took them to Dawsons, I bought another pair (won't even tell you what I paid for them) but after wearing them once at the barn realized the heel was too high. I was leaving for a trip and begged to have them early despite the store's clearly visible posted time of response. Fast forward a few weeks. I miss the deadline due to flight delays, then I got sick. So basically, Dawsons put a rush on the job for me, which wasn't even necessary. He cleaned up my disgusting boots so he could repair them, made them look like new, and made the other boots wearable. When I sheepishly arrived late, the owners were gracious.
