If you are shopping for luggage, travel accessories, handbags and sunglasses TJ Maxx has an excellent selection of everything mentioned. And their prices are pretty wonderful. TJ Maxx is always bright, clean, and well organized. This store is not a mess or uncomfortably arranged with the way items are spaced throughout the store. I'm thinking of another store but I won't name names. Their childrens clothing has the cutest stuff and again the prices are very competitive. During the holidays I have a list of stores on deck that I know I will be making a bee line to and TJ Maxx does not let me down for well displayed, really nice merchandise. And I get compliments all the time on just about every single cute handbag that I purchase here. read more

One of my favorite TJMaxx's! Always well stocked and pretty organized. Nice staff, big store. The only issue is their bathrooms are gross! Like falling apart and dirty. I cannot believe they have never been redone, it is that bad. Otherwise nice store and great deals. read more

It's a very different place these days, and I kind of like it. The floor isn't so crammed you can't move, although the pickings are a bit slim. I was struck by how poorly behaved the customers were. I love TJ Maxx. I wish they had coupons or special offers on their Facebook page like other stores or on an email list. However, they do have reasonable prices and they are not required to offer coupons. I just personally like coupons! TJ Maxx moves inventory quickly which I completely appreciate. They do clearance items, so definitely check the clearance section because there are good deals! I love the furniture and cosmetic sections. Also, for anyone who purchases hair care product lines from Rusk, Chi, Nexxus, Biosilk, Matrix - TJ Maxx has many professional hair care product lines it is worth taking a look. Unfortunately, they do not have what I use, but you can spend a fortune at the salon on hair care products and these prices are VERY reasonable! read more

This is one of my favorite stores to shop at! It's where I get the majority of my purses, certain workout gear, bathroom stuff, and some new snacks I've never tried. It's usually pretty busy but you are able to navigate throughout the store pretty quickly the majority of the time. They constantly have new inventory so there is something new each time you go there. The prices are pretty affordable so you won't break the bank when you want to do some redecorating or revamp your wardrobe. read more

As far as TJ Maxx go, this is one of the best stores I have ever been to. You always get great selection of items and the prices cannot be beat. However, beware, if you need help, you will most likely not get it. The jewelry counter can take forever to look at items and there is always a long line at the counter. But if you are willing to take some time and dig through the store, you will walk away with some amazing bargains. read more

The store was crazy busy while we were there but the staff was very kind and helpful and the cashiers were doing a very good job keeping the lines moving. We will be back for sure. I was very excited to see a TJ Maxx on our way home from Branson. I didn't shop in Branson because I was trying to avoid the traffic and crowds. I wanted a one stop shop where I could find a couple pairs of jeans and maybe a nice top for work. When we pulled in, my husband commented on the vehicles because we noticed they were all luxury vehicles. This made me optimistic and even more excited about the store because the one near my hometown, although new, it's a smaller model store and has a more urban feel. Upon parking and scanning my environment, I noticed very petite women, all in yoga pants and athletic shoes walking in one by one. I immediately stared looking around for women who looked like me but no luck. It was the same once I got inside. Blonde, petite and polished. I start looking for the jeans rack. I see jeans, head toward the racks and they stop at 14. This can't be right?! Where's my size 16/18? Surely they sell my size. I ask my husband if he sees a Plus size section, he looks around and says no. We round the housewares department and I see the "Plus size section". What a joke. One long rack. One, and a round rack that said clearance with L-3XL on it. In my size, they had 3 pairs of jeans to choose from. Same brand. Same color. Same jeans. 3. No workout gear. I guess us chubby girls only lay on the couch eating bon bons while watching real housewives. Lol. So disappointed. 1) I'm not used to my clothing being segregated from the masses 2) the selection was minimal at best. They don't want to cater to women like me. If they did, they'd do a better job at being more inclusive and make women my size feel more welcome. Thank you though for having bathrooms off to the back of the store that I could quickly walk to after leaving your dressing room so I could cry without the fear of anyone hearing or noticing me. Especially my poor husband who was so gracious to stop so I could have some "me" time. read more

I really like this store for housewares. They never have clothes that will fit me and my little sister couldn't find anything that fit her in juniors. I can however always find something for decorating my house. I think this store compared to the others stores across the nation are all pretty one-in-the-same. My brothers girlfriend bought a jewelry box here. The kind that stands on the floor and has a full length mirror on it. It had a large chip in the front and they wanted 150 dollars for it. She asked for a discount because of the ding on the front (kind of an eye sore.) The manager was a dick and would only take $10 off. She asked for $15 and he wouldn't budge. In all honesty he should have taken $50 off for the amount of damage and where it was located. So customer service isn't their strong point at this location. He even said they just use the color markers to fill chips and dings on their merchandise "all the time." Check your stuff carefully if you buy from here. I'm cheap to an extreme, but I love nicer stuff than what you would find at Walmart. Therefore, TJ Maxx is one of my favorite places to shop. It is often messy and crowded. I've never been spoken to by an employee aside from the cashier. All of that is fine with me when I can find fantastic items for a small fraction of the original, department store prices. Some people don't go for this type of store but to me it is ideal. They do have decent dressing rooms for trying on clothing. While I enjoy shopping at the nearby Marshalls store, it seems that I wind up makng a lot more purchases at TJ Maxx. It's a little messier but worth it, in my opinion. They also have a great selection of housewares, kitchen gadgets, and accent furniture. Most recently I found 2 accent tables for roughly 20 bucks each, and they look identical to the one I admired for 70 bucks at Target across the street. Can't beat that! read more
