On one summer night my lover and I definitely needed a weekend getaway so that's we did! Wanted to try some place new where we normally don't go to so I picked this place reviews seemed promising enough. I normally book our hotel stays on booking.com or hotels.com because they offer way better deals and you earn points each time you book with them! I booked us a 2 night stay with double queen bedroom. I normally book us two beds because usually the rooms that have two beds are bigger. In total our stay was $250 for two nights which is a steal! Deposit was only like $70 and they will refund you back the money once you have checked out, got my money back instantly like the next day! All really depends on what bank you have tbh. Walking in our room the room smelled really clean, I check the room to see if everything is clean and everything checked out good! We never sleep in the covers EVER! We always bring our own bed cover and blankets, we feel more comfortable sleeping that way! Surprisingly this place was really low key and very clean! Honestly shocked because you know Antioch isn't really like suburbs far from it it's like a mini Oakland! So I had really low expectations on my stay here but it was actually one my favorite hotels to stay at! Neighbors are not loud (couldn't even hear the neighbors at all really) and we are absolutely in our own lil world us two! Definitely would love to stay here whenever we are in town! read more

AMERICAS BEST VALUE INN --- THEY SAY THE NAME OF A BUSINESS SHOULD REFLECT WHAT YOUR PRODUCT IS - BEST VALUE are key words here. I see no value with this property. They spent a lot of money remodeling this place about 5 years ago, maybe longer and yet it's filthy and the Amenities are bottom of the barrel. Very cheap. You have to give them a deposit, I would think most people want their deposit back. I can tell you that they don't clean if they do it's minimal at best. They are not disinfecting anything here. That's obvious. Grime allover the place. Is the property owner to cheap to purchase cleaning supplies? This place would be great if they cleaned. I went to the office to let the woman behind the counter know that I was not happy with the room and that I wanted someone to come clean the bathroom so I could take a shower. She tried to tell me that the rooms are cleaned and not all the rooms are like this??? Why are any of the rooms like this? UNACCEPTABLE.. She says the rooms are checked after they are cleaned. I asked her to come and look at the room, she wouldn't, said if I didn't like it don't stay here again.... That's great customer service..also breakfast is danishes, white bread, butter, milk, Froot Loops & Frosted Flakes and a coffee machine that makes horrible coffee drinks. Nothing is sanitary, the table is filthy the entrance door has hand prints allover it just gross. The management does not care about anything except $$$$. I actually didn't enjoy my stay this time. There was a loud alarm that hardly lets you sleep. There were ants all over the bathroom floor. A worker comes at 10:30 AM to knock repeatedly on the doors for checkout when the time says 11:00AM. This is ridiculously annoying and if you want a peaceful stay. There was a couple right next door loudly arguing at 12AM. The breakfast is nonexistent. DON'T STAY HERE. read more

I travel a lot for work and had to get this hotel last minute. I was extremely surprised how cool it looks, feel, and Tony gave me the best customer service with whatever I needed -- no bad vibes at all. The rooms look extremely modern and looks great. The best Americas Best Value inn that I've stayed in for sure. The only thing I would keep in mind is the room isn't that big for the king room but that doesn't matter to me --- just for future travelers. Loved it. My boyfriend and I had just leased an apartment that wouldn't be ready for a week. Staying in downtown Antioch at a motel wasn't my ideal vacation due to the high crime rates and shady activities. However, its proximity to our workplace left us with little choice. To my pleasant surprise, the staff at the front desk were both courteous and professional, which convinced me to agree to stay. The motel boasted cleanliness, fresh linens, a spacious closet, a hot and steamy shower, along with a microwave, fridge, and Wi-Fi. I have stayed at this location multiple times, and have enjoyed my stay every single time, the price to quality ratio is absolutely amazing and it's nice that the manager and owner are on site every single day! I've read all of the bad reviews and I believe that they're just disgruntled people that are normally just disgruntled, because I looked at every Yelp account! For the money it's clean, secure, and the staff are all very helpful. The only reason I didn't leave a five star review is breakfast is a little bit of a joke and I would not count on it to feed my family or myself in the morning. read more

Do you go to a hotel to sleep? Don't come here. At about 9pm the party started in the room next door. LOUD music, giggling....you know. I told the front desk person - we would move rooms -- (not my first choice) - but no dice, she said the people next to us had rented the room for $300 (it has a jacuzzi) and we should just wait a bit for them to go to sleep. We ended up driving home - late at night. Thinking a refund would be appropriate, considering the aforementioned, sleep, was not an option. I've attached the response -- from their third party reservation system. Apparently Sharon Espinoza, the manager, thought it was good business to let people drive home in the middle of the night, I should have read the reviews before booking. I booked this hotel on the same date I needed it, booked here due to price being cheap $100/night last minute is pretty cheap for me. PROS: A lot of parking, quiet area, no weirdos roaming around etc, didn't require a deposit, room has microwave & refrigerator. CONS: COCKROACHES!!!!!!! Cockroaches in the shower & on the stand next to the bed. DISGUSTING. Literally traumatized after I saw the cockroach on the night stand next to me, didn't have a comfortable nights sleep at all, slept with light and AC full blast... highly disgusted. I will never stay here again & if you come across this review I recommend you dish out a little more money and go elsewhere, it is not worth it, unless you're into cockroaches and/or they don't bother you. Also, walls are super thin, was woken up by headboard from the next room banging on the wall & moans. read more

Trying to rent a hotel room for my daughter... Called to see if rooms were available, and the manager said yes, no problem. When we got there, he said there were no rooms to rent. Clearly the motel is not full. When pressed, he said she had rented a room there in the past and left it messy, so he refuses to rent to her. maybe she looks like somebody else he rented to, but I guarantee she has never been at this motel. My guess is he didn't want her there because she has a service dog (tiny, with all the proper paperwork and certificates). That's illegal, thanks to the ADA. read more

I was surprised at this hotel. I was expecting a run of the mill hotel but found it was totally remodeled. New beds, new furniture, nice sized TV, remodeled bathroom. Spent two quite nights here. The owner installed panels on the roofs and that impressed me also. Parking by the room or a larger parking lot out front. I found them on google saw the pictures thought well let's call see if they have something available since I needed 2 rooms for the same day and was last minute. I was checked into a smoking room around 2pm. By night time cock roaches were appearing everywhere around the room. In the bathroom, behind the refrigerator and microwave. I called the front desk and they checked me into one of the newer remodeled non smoking rooms. The room was nice and modern but didn't have cable and after about an hour of settling in, I spotted a cock roach running across my pillow! So basically this hotel is infested with roaches. The manager refused to give me my money back so I could go elsewhere so basically I stayed up the whole night with the lights on and AC blasting (I know roaches hate lights and the cold). this place is a joke. there was a hole behind the mirror in bathroom you could see straight into the next room. i could hear every sound next store to me. I rented a room to get piece and quit to work on my website i'm creating for a clients business. there looks to be a broken window in restroom made by a rock or maybe even a bullet whole or rock was thrown. when i checked in there was a small refrigerator in the middle of my room defrosting with old milk in it. to be honest i'd rather stay at the executive or economy if this is the case this place is horrible. read more

DON'T BE DECEIVED BY ALL THE NICE PICTURES!!!! I was told that this place was recently remolded, and I can see what they were trying to achieve. But this place is disgusting! They need to fire all the housekeepers because they are horrible at their jobs. The rooms and everything in them were filthy, including all the linens and towels. The previous guest who stayed in my room decided to clean his ears with a pillow case, and the housekeeping staff decided to make-up the bed and leave that pillow case as a gift for the next guest (me). And in every room there was a piece of furniture that had been damaged. In one room there was a desk that the drawer had been ripped out. About five long nails were left sticking out. My family and I rented three rooms. We were in search of a reasonably priced place to stay while work was being done in our house. But we only ended up staying one night. And because the place is so cheap it attracts all different walks of life. At night there's all types of crime going down here. read more

let me tell you if i could give this peice of shit hotel a negative zero rating i would. i have stayed here quite a few times and each time they screw me out of my deposit money an charge an arm an a leg for a room for the night. i stayed there 5/19/2020 an i accisently left my make up bag there and the maide stole it and the owner wouldn't even check the cameras or anything so i called police an made police report so im just glad something will be done about these shady people there hotel is a joke and i promise to tell everyone they should spend ther3 money else where i lost over 1,000 worth of high end make up that took me forever to accumulate. read more
