We came here to look at furniture, and discovered that the displays are absolutely wonderful. When we asked about fabrics and customizing our order, they had an impressive array of choices that blew the doors off the competition. When we balked at our original price estimate they agreed, and without a beat moved to another line that met our price objective. The quality seemed about the same, and the deal they gave us was about twice the furniture as our original choice. We ordered two barrel chairs and a wraparound couch for the living room. The time to manufacture the chairs was longer than they were accustomed to, because of the epidemic raging the country. The two barrel chairs and half of the wraparound couch arrived a little after the estimates said they would. But half the wraparound couch was the wrong color. Blackmarr's followed up and found out the manufacturer would build us a replacement wraparound couch immediately. When the replacement arrived in town, but just to be on the safe side Blackmarr's decided to inspect the shipment. No joy, the manufacturer had shipped the wrong furniture again. Another few months went by, and about the time we were going to follow up we got another call from Blackmarr's. Yes, the right part had arrived, and they would deliver it to our house immediately. As we all held our breath, the couch part was fitted into place. The color matched perfectly. As perfectly as if the original mis-shipped part had been found and re-routed to us. Through all this ordeal, we had the impression Scott and Lindsey at Blackmarr's were just as concerned, if not more so, than we were. They did what a very good merchant would do to keep our future business, with discounts and gifts and cards, and we were positively impressed. Yes, they have kept our business, and we will be shopping there in the future. I won't tell you who the furniture manufacturer was, but I'm sure Blackmarr's will be steering you to better suppliers.

"that's how it comes to us". is an unfortunate attitude when product quality is questioned. pricing seems high for medium to low quality of some items. this is a BUYER BEWARE store. verbal assurances are questionable.

They treated me as if I was a burden, and not worth their respect or their time... So I filed a complaint with the Attorney General, and it's been a back and forth process for the past 5 months now. As of today, the issue is still not resolved, and my back is a wreck. The dip in the middle is so bad I have to squeeze to the sides of the bed and most of the time, and that doesn't help at all. My advice to any single mothers out there, BUYER BEWARE... They are very rude to women, judging from how they have been treating me. If I were a man, I'm sure the salesman wouldn't have called me sweetheart and hung up on me, and this issue would have probably been resolved immediately. With this store, if you are unhappy with the bed you bought, you'll be blamed for it, and you will not get your money back or any help at all. They are extremely reluctant to make things right, they do not take any responsibility at all, and will not replace your bed or give you a refund. Basically, it's a done deal. And since your bed is supposed to last 8 to 10 years, you better make sure you buy from a company that stands by their products and will allow you a refund or a replacement. This company doesn't even have their terms and refund policy in writing anywhere - not on their website, not on the receipt you get, and they don't give you any other paperwork besides the receipt - I didn't even get a copy of the Warranty! That's considered fraud, according to the Attorney General's office... Hopefully this issue will be resolved soon so I don't have to hire a lawyer,

The last time we spoke, I told him I was filing a complaint, and he told me, "it doesn't matter" and that he would just ride it out and keep responding until I get tired.
