This company is a complete joke, there's so much that went wrong from the first phone call, had a service installed and everything was wrong about it, 2 tech at 2 different times and they even said it was completely wrong....took weeks to finally get somewhere! I'm in the process of switching from them, been a customer for over 20 years, always on yearly budget plan that I pay a set amount every month, realized last year they were locking me in on a propane price which was almost double what other suppliers were charging. Just called the other day to ask what their price was and after a runaround of having them have to look up my account before they would tell me a price, seems fishy to me, they said it was over $4 a gallon for me, every where else I called was $2.499 a gallon. I think they take advantage of people that are not aware that ameragas will rip them off. If you our a customer or plan on using them, pay attention to prices and cost. If I could give this company a minus review I would. My elderly mother has been on automatic delivery for years and has had to make numerous phone calls for delivery. She has been at 1% on her propane tank and has called them several times and was told she will be getting the delivery in 24 to 48 hours. 3 days later still no delivery. I called them for her and they won't talk to me because I am not on the account. I even spoke with the supervisor and got nowhere. This company is the worst!!!! read more

Supposed to receive gas today. Did not. Not the first time. Have to prepay for 100 gallons, about $330. Only need approximately 60 gallons. Balance on the account will sit in amerigas checking account until I need more propane. Usually I order once a year. If not, there is a $90 service fee. Not happy with the bank of amerigas!! Absolutely cancel this company and find a local gas company to do business with. They closed all local offices and you stay on the phone for 3 hours just to be hung up on. The amount of stress and back and forth we went through is unbelievable. They do not care if you are out of gas and freezing. read more

Amerigas Greensburg originally set a propane tank in 2002 that we leased. For years they filled the tank. I replaced the tank with one I purchased to avoid lease payments and placed it in the same place. I then could purchase from anyone with the best price. Amerigas filled it so I called for another refill. When they came they refused to fill it because it was too close to a heat pump and window. They put the original tank in where it sits and filled it for years. They've filled it multiple times without issue. The driver said they could move it. I called several times with no answers. I was last told a manager would call. NO call....Its been days.... I'd suggest another company. No call backs, no answers. I'd give them zero stars if possible. Some customer service! read more

I've been a customer with Amerigas for at least 10 years. Because we don't have natural gas in our area, and I hate cooking on an electric stove, I've been using them to provide my stove propane. Their customer service is excellent and they're here very promptly when I call them about being low on propane. read more
