This company is unreliable and has left us without a propane delivery for over 2 weeks. They are now asking for another credit card number before they can deliver. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! You are talking with someone from another country though they try to say they are local. If this is what Northern Energy/Amerigas has moved to then do not waste your time. read more

The most god awful company. They installed a defective tank moitor over 1.5 years ago that has read 94% full. I t has been over 1.6 years since it was filled. I call and call and cannot get anyone to get it repaired and the tank filled. Need a new company read more

Amerigas sucks. My father had been with them for over 20 years (before it was Amerigas). for the past 5 years (he passed away) I have never had a problem with pre-paying for our propane. This year I called to do the usual pre-pay and they insisted on speaking with him. Well I politely, replied he's dead. Then it was we have to close this account. I said well it is in the trust name and I am the trustee. They replied we have no record of that. (excuse me? I sent you that information along with the death certificate on X date and time). They insisted they did not have that information, I insisted they did and it was not my problem if they didn't. Amazing, they found the information, ok well the death certificate. I was then promptly transferred to the new account person. Again, we argued about me having access to the account. (mind you they are calling my husband daily to pre-pay on our account). She said we have to close this account, we cannot transfer the balance to your new account and you will not get the discounts currently on the account, and it will take 3-5 days to get your refund processed. So after doing my best to keep my shit together, I lost it I told them the tank is at 37% and when it is empty come get it. Well I arranged for a new company to come out and take their business. It has been a month and we have now been charged $365 bucks for them to make a trip to pick up the tank. And we will see our refund in 4-6 weeks. These people charge $3.95 for a statement, are rude, have no customer service skills and lack the intelligence required to keep customers. This company deserves a 0 star review. Did I mention that my husband and I have spent 5 hours on the phone with these people? I am thinking a root canal without Novocain sounds like a fun time than dealing with Amerigas. read more

WORST.COMPANY.EVER.SCAMMERS. I have several homes with propane on autopay with Amerigas. Come to find out they've been charging more than twice the amount of a local provider, specifically $4.76 per gallon versus $2.23. I contacted them and they agreed to issue a credit and match the local price. 13 phone calls later, including 5 where their system simply hung up on me after waiting between 25-45 minutes. My 4 emails were ignored. Yesterday I had the EXACT phone conversation with a supervisor who assured me she would take care of the problem, the EXACT conversation I'd had two weeks and a month prior. They hope you lose interest by wasting so much time so they can continue to steal. Thank you. read more

I would give zero stars. Ordered propane 3 weeks ago from Amerigas Polson and delivery window passed. Called again and they changed order to "expedited", delivery window passed, NO delivery. 5 phone calls and all the same responses, unfulfilled "expedited" delivery by such and such a date. Plus, on 5th call they stated "road blockage" .. we drive on a clear, main highway. The 6th call person stated exact same answer; "expedited" service for 3 days from now... now, why should I believe that??? I live where it's below freezing, 8 % propane now and I can't get my tank filled after 3 weeks and 2 of those weeks "expedited"?!?!? read more

After having to shut down my propane to the house due to a kitchen renovation. The stove top was the only item that used gas. They still deliver gas in Jan 22 and topped my outside tank, than I got another shipment in oct 22 for more gas while the system was still shut down. Somehow they are charging me for gas I never could not of used. read more

Only gave one star because I could not give zero. Stay away from... do not do business with... this company let my house run out of propane 2 times while on a autofill contract. Called and got hung up on 5 times in the middle of the emergency (7 degrees outside, temps falling and no propane). I cancelled with them And now they are stalling on refunding $2200. They are making up all sorts of things, conditions, timelines, that are not in the contract we both signed. Save yourself time, sanity and a cold home in the winter. Same as the rest of these reviews. They will make mistakes which happens but they will not refund you, they will ignore you and will consistently hang up on you. They tell you someone will get back to you and they don't. Had a leaky tank with nearly 300 gallons lost in 3 weeks. I called 8 times and sent multiple emails. I keep getting assured that "This time" I will be refunded, "trust me" they say, "rest assured" They are full of crap and have lost me as a customer and everyone I ever talk to when propane or heating comes up. Never in my life have I dealt with such a garbage company. read more
