WORTH THE READ I had a propane fireplace installed and…read morereached out to Suburban for service. The man who installed it showed me exactly where they needed to look to hook it up inside. When the "technician" (I feel a loose term) came he dismissed me and removed all the logs, subsequently having me do a jigsaw puzzle for the next few days to get the flame right. Additionally, he did not bury the line outside and that was what i feel, a call I should not have had to make. Fast forward, I have had 2 Fireplace companies look at my fireplace because it would not stay lite. Two Professional companies, 4 visits, and numerous parts changed and head scratching. Neither company could see anything wrong with the fireplace but changed out the only parts they could think to be causing the issue. But still did not stay lite. After some phone calls and web research I had some concerns it could possibly be the propane tank or the gas inside it. I called Suburban to come inspect it I asked that I be present so that I could ask questions and see what was being looked at, so I could feel comfortable knowing I actually needed to replace my fireplace. Craig told me "no problem" but instead I get a voice mail from Craig stating that their Technician, Gene, looked at it and didn't see anything wrong with it. Suggesting I get yet another fireplace company to look at it. ARE YOU FRIGGIN KIDDING ME???? Again dismissed!!! So I call them and say I would like them to come pick up their tank. It has been over 2 months and it is still in my yard! I might also add that when I started having problems with my fireplace I had them fill it. They charged me for the full tank tank and I have had over $300.00 in credit held hostage for going on 2 years. You have been warned!!!

STAY AWAY if you don't want your house damaged! 4/2/23 - We had a clog in our bathtub and Drain Fly…read morecame out to take a look at the problem. The plumber seemed to be having problems unclogging the drain, so he started to snake through the sink. As I'm sitting in my dining room I hear a loud rattling sound in the ceiling and water starts pouring through the ceiling fan. I yell to the plumber that I think he broke a pipe. He tried cleaning it up, apologized profusely and told us that we wouldn't have to worry about anything and that they would take care of everything, then left hastily. Fast forward to today, 4/10/23 and we haven't had a functional shower and sink in our upstairs bathroom since Drain Fly broke whatever they broke. The owner is trying to shirk responsibility by saying it is an old house and the pipes were old (which is speculation). If that was a concern though, I'm curious why they wouldn't have utilized their advertised video inspection services to insure that they would not damage anything. At the end of the day, they caused damage in this house, have caused a serious inconvenience and are not willing to make it right while trying to avoid responsibility. As a kicker, the website lists that they a veteran owned business. As a veteran and small business owner, I find the way this company operates to be a discredit to veteran owned small businesess and I will be contacting the VOSB department to have them remove this illegitimate accreditation from their website until they go through the proper channels of verification for a VOSB emblem. TLDR: They'll break your stuff, avoid responsiblity and then ghost you.
